What a nice video. The start, the music, the surfing, the dogs playing, plenty coffee and most of all, the beautiful Landy.... Thanks, and keep them coming... 🇿🇦
@Kendall and Glenn go the Zorali's they are the bomb , so comfy , so compact , so easy to pop up , tough as and also look cool ...especially with the faux sheepskin covers ..super warm ...we absolutely rate them
We’ve had Helinox chairs, both the camping ones and the light hiking ones, for quite a few years. Highly recommend them. The only issue is they are light and can be easily blown over.
We have been using our oz trail chairs most sundays for about two years now with no issues, which is great for something that is relatively inexpensive. Whilst they are light, they are somewhat bulky, having backrest , cup holder etc. However they dont really get in the way because they are the first thing you unload when you get to camp. They actually assist in unpacking and re packing of other things , having an instant somewhere to sit things off the ground.
Looked far and wide for an awesome chair. Definitely take a look at the Oztrail Cape series recliner. Aluminium light frame, compact for storing, reclines so you can look at the stars, and the canvas is made from recycled water bottles.
Hi Guys Great video and great views! We bought some Black wolf director chairs which were the most comfy and compact for our Campervan. They have a fold out table for snacks/drinks. We bought sun dried tomato colour but also come in blue. Really comfy! I think we paid about $120 each but good quality. Sorry about the scumbag that stole your battery!! 💩 Look forward to your next video and safe travels. Di and Troy 😀
We have Helinox Savanna Chair in brown they pack down small and weight about 1.3kg make sure you get the ground mat, they are expensive but feel like they will last,
That creek was just breathtaking, what an awesome find! Did the new battery sort out the fridge issue? Bunnings have a compact canvas folding chair, the alu frame looks like timber.
Thanks a lot! As for the fridge we found that the Dometic Fridge Cords have a habit of being the weakest link so we ended up having to replace it and now it's fine. Apparently it's a common problem with new Dometic fridges so buyer beware!
Having traveled in my T3 Syncro, space is a premium and I suspect Nigel is even more challenging for you. Camp chairs: Helinox has become my go to. Not the most affordable out there but man! Great chairs and they pack up into a small bundle - perfect for those who are “space challenged”.
Camp chairs! Oh no, my favourite surfing, baristering (?!), vanlifing, ray of sun shining peeps are getting old… 😂 glad you got the replacement battery, cheers!
Maybe I commenting earlier to you, had an unforgettable week around in Eastern/Southern Tassie, Hells fire, Hobarth, botanical garden, Mount Wellington, Wineglass bay and Port Arthur...
I have a iTech battery jump starter - such a dependable item to have on board. For chairs - I've also been looking - and aesthetically the timber and canvas ones look great but they are heavy and need space to put them away. So i'm probably going to get the lightweight Mountain designs ones that are about $50 and kind of use dome tent technology and have removable base for sand. They weigh about 850gms
Ahh the age old question. It depends what it includes. Roof top tent and awning together cost about $8k, electrical system is another $6k, fridge $1600, then fitout itself I'm not sure of specific cost as it consisted of millions of trips to bunnings etc but it would add another couple of grand onto the total I'd say.
@@KendallandGlenn Thanks Kendall / Glenn, what about the Land Rover? Where'd you find it, what yr model and how much also? Thanks for answering my questions! 😎
Ahh yes I completely forgot to mention it. Basically we ended up having a lot of people tell us that the plug and wires are usually the first thing to go with dometic fridges so had to get a new one and we are good to go!
It's just onion, mushrooms and potatoes, with cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic salt and a pinch of curry powder. Crack a few eggs in it and top with cheese. Other than that can modify however else you like!
gosh I love that Leo, he's so chilled. :)
What a nice video. The start, the music, the surfing, the dogs playing, plenty coffee and most of all, the beautiful Landy.... Thanks, and keep them coming... 🇿🇦

So good. Made me feel so chilled just watching this xx
Loved every moment! Where do you source your music from? Every song you use is beautiful! x
Thanks so much! We are subscribed to Epidemic sound. It's a bit pricey but we love it.
Check out Zorali for camp chairs :) neutral colours and a sustainable, more eco-conscious brand, plus an Australian company!
Love your aventures :)
An episode about travelling with a dog would be fun
Helinox, well made and lightweight. By the way, you certainly enjoyed some nice little beach break sliders.
Does anyone know what the campsite on the stony river is called? Or where it is?
Helinox does some earthy colours and they are excellent chairs 👍 supper packable
We love our CLIQ camp chairs! Packable to the size of a Nalgene water bottle
Hi, check out the stratus all day chair
That creek was just breathtaking, what an awesome find!

Hi Kendall & Glenn , like your videos thanks for sharing . Stay safe and thanks for visiting the apple isle . Ps Where was the creek you camped at plz
Hi Dale, thanks so much mate! Honestly not too sure we just explore somewhere through the forest north of Waratah. Happy camping!

hahaha our poor butts and back need some comfort
Kovea or Snowpeak probably have the camp shairs that you are looking for.
With limited space I would say something like the mountain design folding chair or the hilonx or how ever its spelt lol
Maybe I commenting earlier to you, had an unforgettable week around in Eastern/Southern Tassie, Hells fire, Hobarth, botanical garden, Mount Wellington, Wineglass bay and Port Arthur...

Mad truck! How much did it cost to set up like that?

Hey there! Glad you got your battery sorted. How about the fridge? Did you get it fixed yet?
Ahh yes I completely forgot to mention it. Basically we ended up having a lot of people tell us that the plug and wires are usually the first thing to go with dometic fridges so had to get a new one and we are good to go!
Gnarly!
My sympathetic surfing aussies still posting to us!
Where was the nice little wave?
It was a bit of a novelty way at a random spot in the northwest
What is your potato hash recipe?
It's just onion, mushrooms and potatoes, with cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic salt and a pinch of curry powder. Crack a few eggs in it and top with cheese. Other than that can modify however else you like!
Just go to Anaconda and buy a couple of Oztrail chairs. Simple and affordable. Don't make a big meal of it.
For a cheap chair idea is a milk crate and a thin cushion. Double as storage crates.
Glad you got your new battery things are looking up for you lovely guys enjoy yourselves keep the videos coming
☺️💕
Murrawah is incredible. It is the gateway to the Wild West Coast of Tassie......
