    Hopefully some day, cities will be like this, green plants and spaces where possible, actually bring nature and cities together.
    I mean why not use all the roofs and the sides of buildings and skrscrapers for nature, if not only for us, but also for animals bring some of those back into the cities.

    Is planting herb garden covering 75-85 percent of my entire home advisable?

    You need to know that this is something that you can do but trees roots will surely get nested all around it and it will puch inside the system. U need to replace it and maintain it every 3-5 years which can be a tad bit costly

      More water evaporates because it is held by the green roof longer than a normal roof. The rest goes to the drain

      How old can concrete get to before it starts to disintegrate?

    • @DingoAteMeBaby
      @DingoAteMeBaby 3 месяца назад

      concrete under hydrostatic pressure load, though im sure they would have an impermeable vapor barrier that can last decades

    Makes sense for rooftop.
    Very POOR example. But why would you spend all that money in a house with a concrete floor in the backyard. Just remove the concreate floor and you have all the land you want for your garden. STUPIDITY i must say. Instead of removing an unwanted material we are using more material to depict nature instead of working with nature.
    But this system is only cost effective for rooftop garders where there is no natural soil in the first place.
