- This is a sequel to the episode of the same name. Ms. Hoover got lyme diesease and so Lisa got a substitute teacher, Mr. Bergstrom, and it turns out to be the best teacher Lisa ever had, until he had to leave, and everything took a turn for the worst.
Okay, so there was quite a bit of rotoscoping done in this video, the whole scene where Skinner takes off his pants, I had to rotoscope out Skinner and photoshop the backgrounds. It's surprisingly hard to find the right angles of Skinner's office. I also rotoscoped out Mr. Bergstrom in the end clip of him standing over Skinner's body. I don't think there was any major lip syncing done here. But a lot of work went into this one, hope you enjoy.

What I love about “You are Lisa Simpson”…
Remember how Bergstrom was called a dork when he came into class in a cowboy costume? & instead of being ashamed and hiding his genuine self, he embraced it and complimented the artist.
“You are Lisa Simpson” can be interpreted many ways, but in this particular context... it could mean that she is Lisa Simpson, her own person & to never lose that, and to embrace it.
Even when other kids bully her into being someone else.

Granted demonetized videos tend to correlate with the darker episodes in general though

This is a unpopular option but this is one of my least favorite episodes from the first 10 seasons. I always found it weird how attached lisa got to a teacher especially a substitute teacher. The note was always a little stupid to me. You are lisa simpson. yeah like no shit she's lisa simpson that's her name.
He wrote a highly wholesome affirmation note to her. Assholes _like _*_you_* obviously know NOTHING about when someone implies it secretly that in a strongly, strictly platonic (😒’platonic’ means non-sexual) and wholesome way to love someone.
