I was a Caribbean boy studying at Wheaton college and then Columbia College . I would have to walk from Union station to Michigan avenue and this image of leaning your shoulder into the wind and walking was very very welcoming. (If anyone knows of winter in Chicago, the wind was so awful they'd have ropes on the building to hold on to) I saw Dallas Holmes at Moody Bible College in the dead of a Chicago Winter, boy that sound was appropriate and placed everything into perspective. So when my daughter asked me, there's victory at the end of faith right daddy, all i could say was... sometimes faith is the victory my dear ... All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth.
Never heard this album; seems like I remember seeing it for sale years ago. I saw Dallas Holm when he was introducing Twila Paris; what a concert - and my first! Great song!

Seriously? Have you heard of Switchfoot? John Mark MacMillan? I love the oldies too, Larry Norman, Randy Stonehill, Dallas Holm, Mylon Lefevre...but there are some good songs being put out by current Christ followers.
