I am now on a new journey that I did not plan, and would not wish on my worse enemy. I am facing major oral surgery to remove Squamis Cel Carcinoma (Cancer) along with removal of my upper jaw and facial reconstruction. I could never go through this without having Jesus in my life. I have maintained for several years that modern music just doesn't have the impact that the older stuff does. This has applied to the Christian genre as well. I don't listen to the radio anymore, and have gone back to collecting vinyl and CDs from back in this era when the music was good and the lyrics meaningful. Don't get me wrong, there are exceptions, and I do enjoy the modern praise and worship (Hillsong, Bethel, Jesus Culture) kind of thing. But, I do just love this.
