My maternal(now, late) grandmother loved the color yellow. She wasn't sure about computers(1983). She would have loved this Mac! I like orange, though.

Love it. I think because it's your second setup, I think you'd like the Lunar Artefacts pointer instrument (mouse). I have two. I use them when I'm not video editing and I am just browsing or writing

I've noticed that those of us with wide palms have the biggest complaints against the Magic Mouse 2's lack of good ergonomics. Great video, @Patrick Rambles!

Great setup, Patrick! I like the L-shape desk so it’s easily to go back and forth if needed. UGREEN makes the most sense to a build like this and if Patrick likes UGREEN then so do I! Got me spending money once again!

Thank you, for sharing this clean set-up of your new 24-inch M-3 iMac. For myself the one change that, I would make is with the keyboard. I would have ordered the version with the number keypad (smile...smile).
Ha! Yes, I would have too. The reason why I haven't is the fact that I use both mouse and trackpad. The distance would become too wide, so I'm sacrificing the numpad

I too an "L" shaped desk setup. I have my personal computer and monitor on my left, and my work laptop and monitor on my right (I telecommute). That's where the similarity ends though, yours is much cleaner.

I have had the MX mouse for years. Absolutely love it. I am 100% on board with the Apple mouse. It really sucks. Not a fan of the Apple keyboard either. I have big hands. I am surprised I can type as good as I do on the Apple magic keyboard. Great looking set up. It is inspiring. You would be absolutely discussed on how mine looks right now. But, I try to avoid work as much as possible. Don’t tell the boss. Great video.

Nice clean setup up Patrick. Are you ambidextrous? I have never thought to use the trackpad and mouse at the same time! I have to thank you for recommending the products over at Ugreen. I picked up there 3-in-1 65W charger during the Black Friday sale and it has been serving me well so far.
Side note, that post-it holder on your desk looks ideal! I like how it keeps the notes covered until you need to pull one.
Thanks Carl! Yeah those post it dispensers are cool, also nice and heavy so they stay put. I'm not quite ambidextrous but I can write with both hands simultaneously both regular and mirroring. Left side looks horrendous though 😂. With the mouse and trackpad setup it's not like that, I use the trackpad for swipes, pinches and zooms. The mouse is for cursor and scrolling.
I tried a set up on my last iMac last year (21.5" 2017 model) which included two homepods in stereo tandum. It wasn't that successful as there was a considerable lag in selecting a music track to it playing and they had difficulty in acting within the music app alone (i.e. not sounds from the whole iMac). It worked much better via my iPhone.
I have a new M3 iMac now, but have reverted to a single homepod on my desk.
So far it's all working fine, no lag 🤞

Thanks! They are from different brands, mostly local but they have in common that they are all merino wool. Started wearing that a few years back and never buy anything else. It's odorless, fits well, and you don't need a T-shirt underneath.

Thank you for sharing this. I been researching for the iMac for a while but there is so much mix information about it. I am new into content creation nothing crazy so far still a beginner and I was thinking in getting the iMac m3 with 16gb ram you think is going to be enough or should I think on other options. I really like the design but also I want it to be a tool for growing my business any recommendations? Thank you
It will definitely be enough for basic editing, even some heavier editing.

There is one thing I have to complain about. I really understand, that the Magic Mouse isnt perfect, but it is unfortunately one of the best solitions for me and approximatly 20% of the Worldwide Population which are lefthanders. It is a shame that there is no „ergonomic“ mouse that we can use.

Does the 3in1 charger have fast Apple Watch charging for series 7 and up?
No. I haven't found a single 3-in-1 that can fast charge the Ultra, except one by ESR but only because it's basically an empty slot that holds your own fast charging puck 😅
Does the white shelf place the monitor higher than ideal?
Not for me. The monitor sits on the stand quite low.
@@PatrickRambles I understand the top of the monitor is supposed to be at eye level. Is that the case for you or do you find its better to have a different part of the monitor at eye level?
@rossflowers540 I prefer for the top of the monitor to be a little above eye level. It forces me to sit up straight.
