    Is an FRM3 that does not respond after a battery replacement repairable? I wanted to order from BMW but it's on backorder so I'm looking at weeks without having my car, because the driver's window is stuck down.

    Hy thanks for your time.
    Can that be done wiv Maxisys ms 909?

    He replied to me saying it's same prosses wiv IM508.
    But you can't do the coding any idea to that question please?

    what's the problem with these FRMs? what causes trouble?

    • @ECUTeamCorp
      @ECUTeamCorp  2 года назад +2

      The problem can be water damaged, burned damage, low battery level, wrong programming, it really depends on the situation. The FRM 2 or 3 break the same way but they are repaired differently.

    Hi Edward, hoping you can offer some advice.
    My Frm2 was faulty, the 2 errors it had were related to lack of communication to the module and passenger drl was faulty so I had my Frm2 recently repaired. After reinstalling it back in the car, there are now 4 new fault codes. I tried clearing these faults but they don't go away. I also noticed that my window switch works in reverse now: driver window button opens passenger window and passenger window button opens drivers window. The person who repaired the module said the Frm2 had configured itself to USA specification after the repair so I need to code this back to UK specification (my car is a UK model). Doing this will remove all faults and make it work again.
    Does any of this makes sense? Looking for a second opinion please?

    Hi I have a frm3 with the same symptoms had someone look at it locally and was told that there’s no data on the microchip but to my understanding there’s 3 different locations that the information is saved the d flash, eee, and P flash and if the d flash and eee lost the info you can get it from p flash. Is it something you can fix ?

    Do you know if the part number must be the same I found a module that is -02 at the end and mine is -01, all the other numbers match up perfectly. Do you know if the -02 will work?

    • @ECUTeamCorp
      @ECUTeamCorp  Год назад +1

      Part number must be the same if you want to achieve 100% proper programming.

      @@ECUTeamCorp what about the MAX BROSE? I called BMW today and they told me an entirely different part number then then one that’s in my car currently. They told me the part number to the MAX BROSE. Should I get the FRM that is the exact same part number I have currently or the MAX BROSE BMW recommended for my cars VIN?
