I can't think of anyone else who could nail this like Lzzy does! It also brings back a renewed appreciation for Bach's vocal abilities and performances! The fact that she has a hard time hitting some of his notes is a credit to his talent. and no he couldn't pull them off anymore either these days. Those days are long gone and just a memory for those of us lucky enough to have lived them. Appreciate today for what it is, she's great and the best singer in Skidrow since Bach left!
Of course that's easy to say when a female sings male vocal parts. What's impressive about that, lol. It's like women singing Journey. Are you surprised?? Of course not. They're expected to. The charm is when a guy can duplicate the challenge of Bach. Women can sing male vocals all day long. Nothing amazing or impressive about that. No disrespect to Hale, it's just "safe" and nothing more....
When I was 12 or 13 my dad took me to a skid row show. Scotti licked his guitar pick and stuck it on my forehead. Thinking back, definitely gross. But at the time I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Really nice guys, all of them.
Bach sounds rough these days trys to go through the vocals to fast. Looks like he has been doing too many drugs Dont get me wrong I love him but would rather have Lizzy now
All the way to the end there she killed it but ONLY BAS can pull that finish, Lizzy did it well, great job, I'll be seeing you in Charlotte in August, Halestorm always brings it.
@@rickwestfall520 indeed she did kill it till that last little bit. You won't be seeing me anywhere is Charlotte as it's a couple of thousand miles away from me.
Skid Row was the soundtrack to some of the best and worst years of my life, I was a lucky enough to see them live twice. Once opening for Aerosmith in Oakland, then a few years later headlining in Sacramento. I've always thought Skid Row song were impossible for anyone to sing other than Bach, and was happy to just let Skid Row be a great memory. I've heard dozens of bands and singers try to perform Skid Row songs, and I never liked a single one. Then I hear Lizzy singing these songs, and Damn if there was anyone that could replace Sebastian, it's her. Thank you for taking me back to High School.
Such a shame that Erik had to resign. When he first joined the band I thought that his voice wouldn't hold up long term but it did. He never seemed to be straining. This bird has only done a handful of shows yet that final scream was hideous.
Glad someone else called that out, everyone is shitting themselves over her but she's average at best at this song. Erik puts her to shame and Baz is the king.
I think most are cutting her some slack but she needs to find another less straining way to sing that part. If she keeps that up, she wont have a voice at all. Baz's screaming was for the album, not for live performances night after night. She should listen to Fates Warning's lead singer, Ray Alder, talk about that very issue and how he had to tone it down to preserve the voice. She does do a great job but the chords can only take so much.
It's definitely more just being tired at the end of the song than not being able to hit the note. Even Sebastian had a tough time hitting the end note live.
@@kylester0055yeah that budokan gig he flubs that note hard. I prefer it that way though, living proof of how hard the front man/woman is working onstage.
Amazing, mind-blowing, but she should take care of her voice, we've seen what happens to 'yellers' like Paul Stanley, Bon Jovi, Axl Rose or the very same Sebastian Bach
I honestly think she shouldn't try and hit those notes at the end 5:10 ish. She just doesn't have the vocal range for it. They could bring that down an octave and it would suit her better. Even SB himself sings that an octave lower now that he is older and doesn't have that range anymore. Lizzy has her own unique style of voice that contributes to the song. It's not the same as SB or Erik. But it doesn't have to be. She can do the song justice in her own way. It wasn't bad, but it was far from great as well. Needs a bit of polishing.
Yea, and I suspect it must have caught her by surprise a bit. If she'd thought that last long bellow would have fallen apart like that, she would have done it differently.
Na minha opinião o skid row tem tudo pra gravar outro disco bom e ela canta muito bem e si as composiçãoes da banda for com ela pode da certo ela canta bem 🤙
Lizzy works out well. She’s got the voice for sure. You can tell her voice was a little tired here and she still did great. I say halestorm live and she’s incredible
The problem is that anyone singing the sons from this era May sound at best as a gratidão "cover band". She Washington "a better singer in Halestorm than in Skid Row. But that Sebastian is as gone as his early 20"s.
It's like ok... Not bad.... 3 min in... Losing timbre.... 4 min in lost vibrato... 5:08 lost her dam mind and face plants the whole crowd with a crash and burn death warble. And then dances like Elaine from Seinfeld. 🤣
That was quite literally single handedly one of the worst performances I have ever witnessed. The band killed it. Lizzy should just stop attempting this. It's not her thing.
People shit all over her either because she's a woman or not Bach, but just listen! Look how into it Snake is. This is how the band should go out. No one's done a better job.

Erik was way better
Scotti killed that solo live on his birthday. What a player. Scotti you Fn rule brother 🤘🏼🤘🏼

So beautiful ❤
I REMEMBER seeing skid row open for ted nugent @ longbeach arena for $6.50... We were so blessed 40 and 50 yrs ago.
33-35 years ago - don't make us older than what we are lol
Only $7.00 now
I saw Metallica once for 11 bucks
Skid Row wasn’t together 40 or 50 years ago
I saw them open for Bon jovi
Scotti KILLED it as usual.

Was at this concert...she killed it. That girl rocks.
This lineup sounds great but I hope this is just a temporary detour for Lzzy as her Halestorm lineup is unmatched in awesomeness!
Good grief, that last scream was horrendous. She did pretty good up till then.
Cut her some slack!
She's going to blow out her voice if she's not super careful 😮

her voice cant handle this. it's already giving out starting at 5:08
If you think Bach can still handle this your nuts
@@darkairlord not a whole tour.
No one will ever replace Bach
...she's gonna bring "Skid Row" up to date. Just hope the band can keep up. Everybody loves "skid row"...
Huh? She was awful and only temporary
Erik already brought them up to date.
Not bad not great just ok.
She flubbed the end high note. Even some women cant touch Bach. Further proving how great he was vocally.

@@roccolai2768 Exactly. No doubt she could hit it casually, but in this setting going through all these songs, it's tiring for sure.

JFC sorry, Sebastian...she killed it dude.
She’s a good singer but not for this. Sorry it doesn’t work. Just suck it up and bring back your original and best singer.
Who in the band this week?
U killed that harmony bruh lol
Great job lzzy

Great karaoke. Nobody will never replace Sabastian. Skid Row died when he left.

You're right. No more Skid Row.
Interesting patch on the back of her jacket considering the Americana being shown on stage....
She did a great job until the end.... Sebastian is not an easy singer to copy, wish Skid Row would bring him back
