- One single person requested that I make a video similar to the Diane/Bojack one, but for Princess Carolyn- and I love that idea! She's my favorite character, so not a difficult request for me to fulfill (thank you,
@wonderlustcoffee5517 - we love an excuse to talk about PC).
But their relationship has always fascinated me, not only because it's the strongest of the main cast, never really breaking apart in any meaningful throughout the entire show, but also because they began as an extremely codependent couple that used each other to feel better about themselves. But, in the end, they rubbed off on one another enough to realize their own flaws and overcome them. And that's a big part of why they're such great friends in the end.
But thank you all for supporting us! I'm going to start ramping up video production, so hopefully it won't be as long as a wait for the next video!

Love the analysis. It never really clicked for me that PC knew Bojack before entertainment corrupted him, until I watched this.
I enjoy a good duo who come to realize they're better for each other as friends rather than partners.
I would love to see an analysis of Mr. Peanutbutter’s relationships in comparison to what is trending in pop culture. Like how he married Jessica Biel when the “girl next door is hot” thing was popular, then moved on to Dianne when hipster culture was going strong, eventually ending up with Pickles when influencers were the move

I love your analysis. At first I thought that the relationship was very co dependent but your points about them being different and using those differences to make each other better. Princess Carolyn deserved better than BoJack but I do like that they can still be friends. That last scene between them in the series is my favorite scene of that season just because of the culmination of their relationship and how they’re still able to maintain it with appropriate boundaries. Great video!
I feel PC may not have abandon Bojack after the 2nd interview with Brixy but she did draw more firm lines in the sand especially after Bojack was sentenced to prison. Yes PC is going to remain in Bojack's life but just in the smallest capacity that she can without damaging her further, but she still in his life a lot more than say Todd and especially Diane. My opinion is that if Bojcak didn't do the 2nd interview he would have eventually sabotaged himself some other way and PC still would had to make the tough calls she did. So I feel that the 2nd interview in some way save PC and Bojack friendship even though PC was rightfully upset need space at the time in the end she able to come to terms with it since this was Bojacks doing not hers and be able to take steps have Bojack in her life on her terms. Love the analysis.
YES thank you people don’t talk about it but I think it’s important that there’s like an acknowledgement that Bojack is uniquely emotionally available for PC in a way he’s not for others like I think about how it’s touched on a few times how much Bojack helped PC in her mourning process with her dad’s death being an example

no, she's not "an absolute saint". she does terrible things in the name of show business. she represents show business, kind of. she goes pretty far in bribing the assistants in s6, too. Also, "saint" doesn't even mean sin-less, but whatever, PC can be very crueI
True. The only people who could be called saints are Todd and Judah. Princess Carolyn is manipulative, ruthless, and exploitative, which are traits you need to survive in Hollywoo. But in all fairness, she's the best written female character in the show and has many traits that make her really likable. And if the situation calls for it, she's actually very sweet and caring. I still love the scene when she comforted Diane after the abortion, even though she desperately wanted children herself.
@@NoxAtlasTodd is definitely not a saint, either - he often has half-assed ideas and brings them to life without the regards of others, like building a second Disneyland that endangered the lives of hundreds of people since the security standards were not met, making unlicensed people work as doctors (clown dentists - most of them were clowns and not actually dentists)or letting men into spaces he claims to be safe-spaces for women (the taxi-service) purely for profit. His intentions here are irrelevant, almost all characters do what they personally think is the best but just because Todd is a "fun" character and "just oblivious" doesn't mean he never does wrong. His ignorance is definitely showing and he never tries to listen to people when they tell him he should rethink his idea, not even when they straight up tell him it's a bad idea and why.

Out of all the relationships that Bojack has been in, His relationship with Princess Carolyn is one of my top favorites!
And whether they are boyfriend and girlfriend or agent and client they go together like pb & j! I mean sure their relationships had its ups and downs, But still.
And even though it sucks I can understand why PC had to break up with Bojack, Her romance with him was holding her back and it wasn't until after they broke up that PC's life entered chapter 2. But even after they broke up PC and Bojack still stuck by each other.

You kept commenting on how Bojack encouraged PC to go after what she wanted. But almost every time you did, you added that he was rude or pushy in some way. I stopped counting how many times after 4.
It kind of took away from the video and really only needed mentioning once or twice.
Totally fair- I did feel that repetitiveness as well when editing. I did pepper in more unscripted commentary than usual, so the ideas came out rather undeveloped. I’ll try to make sure to vary the commentary more in the future and not repeat myself so much- thank you for your advice! It is genuinely much appreciated! :)
