This is a lovely pond. What a fabulous job you both have done. 🦎🦋🐝🌻☀️🐢
Thank you! Cheers!
Wow nice! Needs some minnows too!🥳
Yea lol!
I need a makeover like that!
How about in the spring 😀
Hi great job which brand of liner did you use thanx
Gordon low : 0.75mm greanseal or 1mm usually 👍
Good make-over but the previous pond was safer? If a creature falls into that pond it cannot get out so easily as before. I think you made a slope with smaller rocks which is probably what I'm talking about?
Thanks for comment but you must realise that the pond is only a day old when we left im sure there are a good head of plants etc for animals to get in and out, give things some time cheers
Another exceptional video .......
What's the name / album / song you used in the backing music please 😀
Hi thanks for the comment, Venice Beach i think i will find out more
Merry Christmas pOndman & pOndlady 🎄. Thank you for sharing. Super efficiency, great wildlife pool. I’m sure the owners are Very happy. Best wishes from cold Southern Louisiana. We are getting your weather here, for a week. Cindy & Joel.
Happy holidays!
I like how the rocks look bigger in the reflection, does the concrete affect the fish ? Or would it hurt the water at all?
Thanks for the comment. No it extreme case it could alter the ph a little bit to be honest the fish we put in our ponds do not mind it. Main things to ensure the water quality is good meaning good filters etc, not overstock and over feed
I started a small pond, wanted for wildlife thinking some oxygenating plants & nature would keep pond healthy, now it’s green which I don’t mind too much but it’s giving a cheesy feet smell, I’ve started small water changes, it has a solar fountain for movement, an air stone added, plus beneficial bacteria, also a couple of Medaka fish now. Going to do a strip test on the water but any advice as to why it’s smelling? & how to correct it? Wouldn’t be easy to have filter just because of running cables to house hence why I wanted a wildlife pond that would take care of itself.
Thanks for the videos!
If you have fish you would need to filter it. A wildlife pond usually has a fair few plants etc it shouldn’t smell. Perhaps a small animal has died in it and sunk to the bottom, it may be worth having it cleaned out and start again…
Lovely job hope the owners give it a good sort out every few years 😂 or get you both in when required . Best wishes as always 👍👍👍
Fingers crossed! thank you or the comment!
