Doggone it GP, there you go spoiling yourself with that Quick Hitch !! It sure does ease the sometimes aggravating hook up process. I noticed Guy sweating pretty good around three minutes in and knew it was a tad bit warm and humid. LOL We've had tons of rain in the last couple weeks as well... Perfect time for a shop day. Good adaption and its going to perform wonderfully for you sir. More time to sip coffee before hookup....Have a dry and resourceful day GP !!
LOL. Good morning T. You bet it was another humid day but we finally got some cooling off over the last few days which was a welcomed relief. Made sleeping a little easier. I have to say I wish I had picked up that quick hitch a long time ago. What a pleasure. All the best to you and the missus! Cheers!
Hi GP! I really enjoyed this video! Loved the split screen departure/arrival and the dog in the carry all. Great work on the carry all quick hitch adaptation! Cheers, my friend!
Thanks Martin! I learned a new trick. LOL. Have a great weekend. I have a feeling you are typing from the workbench in your new shop right now.:)) Cheers!
Great to have a good neighbor that can or will help you. Don’t see much of that anymore. Plus he welds and cutting torch!! That’s a plus. I’ve never thought about a quick attach before. That’s way easier than fighting my bush hog.
Hey thanks Neil. Yes, I am very lucky. Super nice person too. Re: the quick hitch. I wish I had picked one up a long time ago. No more fighting with the rear blade or the 450 pound implements. Too easy. I think I'm keeping this. LOL. Cheers!
That is a short ride between you and Guy! We can see rain ruts in Guy's driveway! Great to have QH ready attachment. Maybe I will tackle this project this summer! Thanks!
Good morning Joe. LOL. I'll tell him. I think you could build an excellent one - it comes in really handy out in the forest. I think you should put it on the list for sure! Cheers my friend!
Hi there GP, been following you for a bit. Finally got to order a b2301 with grapple ! Not yet delivered... But for the quick hitch, I have done some research and it goes like this. Ways to hook up : 1- buy bushings for all my implements (40+$/set) (costly here in CAN?) 2- Buy lower link pin of cat 3 with cat 2 threading and swap lower pins of all implements (and enlarge hole) (10$/set at Agrisup + customs) 3- Solder 1/2" plates to shrink the spacing of the hooks. (like daveknowshow and anesthesiadreamin shows on YouT) (seems like the best as it should allow to hook borrowed equipment without modification) Cheers !
Good morning and congrats John! You must be counting the days down until delivery. Some interesting thoughts on the QH. Just my thoughts - other option would be to buy a kubota QH - I believe they are sized to the correct CAT 1 pin sizes - more expensive than an aftermarket brand for sure. Also just a reminder, not all attachments are QH compatible or QH "adaptable". My box blade for example can't be adapted without removing and welding the brackets into a different spot. Just a thought. You will love the grapple. Good luck with your decision John! All the best and let me know how it goes!
That'll sure be handy GP. Its Its really nice to have a neighbor and great friend like Guy. I have a few great neighbors like that. Thanks buddy. See you soon.
Hey GP and GUY, you folks got the quick hitch working good today. Looks great and will be quite helpful around there and with your other attachments there will be less problems setting things up as needed. Great Job to the three of you, can't forget the guard dog ;-). Thanks for sharing.
I love being out on the tractor enjoying the weather and the atmosphere of being close to the work... 98% of the time I would never want a cab but rain like you just had.... And high wind and whipping snow in winter do make me question myself at times. Hah
So true. Me too. There are a few times when I wish I could turn on the AC or the heat, or keep the flies out, but overall best choice for me is to go cabless. At least for now. Cheers!
Good job. Some of my favored tools are those I have built myself and/or rebuilt to my needs. As a bonus after years of use they each have great memories that only get better with time. Thanks for sharing
Good morning Rick. Thanks! So true, I love that carryall. I think largely because we made it. Now if only I could get Kota out of it so I can use it. LOL. Cheers and all the best!
GP- I’ll tell you what....that was a fantastic video. Hanging out with your buddy , working together that’s really great. I love the content as I want to build a carryall for my BX24 and this is very helpful. I really like the quickhitch concept. Thank you GP! Cheers
Thanks so much Tom. I am happy you enjoyed it. Love that carryall - there are several other folks who have built them too so you may want to view their videos too, to get different ideas on it. If I may offer a suggestion, whatever way you decide to build it, start with a steel frame for sure. Then create it from there. Cheers and let me know how it goes when you get the time to put one together. Cheers!
Great video and good job on the quick hitch conversion. Looks like Guy's dog wants a tractor ride, my dog loves riding on the tractor, mainly in the front bucket.
Good morning Richard. Thanks! He is a great dog. Guy has trained him well - wherever you see Guy, Kota is not far from him. Loves being in the forest with us too. Cheers!
How's she goin'? Having attachments is great for sure but having attachments that were home built in your shop, well that is way better. You made this carry all and then you modified it to work even better. How sweet is that!!! Take care!!!
Good morning Grampie! So true. I'll bet there is a project in your future. I'll bet a really great unit could be built in Grampie's workshop. I hear, through the grapevine, that a lot of stuff gets built and fixed in that place. :)) Cheers!
Man, I sure do not miss that hot humid drenched just standing there weather and I Guess it is to be really sticky for the next few days....40 plus feel like...eek Nice work on the fab making it work.
Hello GP I am sure having neighbors like guy is very important to have and in my opinion we need more people like him that believes the saying people helping people. I do have a question I was wondering about I was wondering if Canada has been getting a lot of rain this year? I am asking because I know here in the states we seem to be getting more rain then normal this year. I am subscribed to lawncare channels all of the rain is making lawn care challenging
Good morning James. He sure is! Yes, ridiculous amounts of rain and in large quantities so far this year. The winter went long as well and we hardly had any Spring weather. Definitely different this year. cheers!
Good job GP, you guys make a good team. We are expecting upper 90s here in Ohio this weekend with 105 f with heat index. not much outside work going to be done this weekend. Cheers
Sure is nice to have good friends. I struggle hooking up my attachments. Take BH77 off then put 3 point arms on is easy but hooking up the carry all or box blade is a pain. Think it's time to invest in quick attachment. Stay cool and have a great day.
Good morning Scott. So true. Folks kept suggesting that I get one for a while but I didn't think it was so easy. Really happy I finally tried one. Good luck and all the best!
Nice job with the mod on the carry all GP! Don't you love that quick hitch!! Makes me wonder why I waited so long to get one!! lol I hope you dry out soon! Have a good one!!!
You bet John! A lot of folks kept suggesting I get one and I figured I didn't really need it but man, it makes it so much simpler and easier now. Have a good one and stay cool!
Enjoy all the videos. I might have missed it but I didn’t see where are you showed how you attached the receiver hitch to the carryall. Can you show this please
Hey Gord, good morning. Man, it was flat raining on the start of the video. Send some of that weather down to Northern Calif. It's been real dry and higher than normal humidity where I live. I worry about more NORCAL fires in the next 2 months. We get the Indian summer with low humidity in Sept/Oct. We don't need a repeat of the fires that destroyed Paradise. Do you guys ever have wild fires like that in the Ontario/Ottawa areas? With all the forested areas you and Guy have, I would be worried about trespassers starting a forest fire. Probably too wet tho. Anyways, loved the content as usual and still working my way thru all your earlier vids. Cheers!
Good morning Timothy! Very seldom up here. However it sure dries out quickly after a rain so the municipality often has a burn ban in effect for a large part of the year. Thanks and enjoy the rest of the weekend! Cheers Tim!
Gordon You must build yourself a canopy for that Kubota. Keep the snow and R-word off your head. If you want, I will send you pics of my canopy for my BX2250. It is all wood, but I am sure Guy can translate it into metal fabrication. Real simple and cheap, with no impingement on the ROPS. Pete Hutzel
Good morning Peter. Thanks for the offer. Yes, I would like to see it if it is not too much trouble. Please email me the picture to gordpotter55 at gmail dot com. Thanks again and all the best!
Good evening GP !!! You make me laugh with that speed tunel !!! Yes in deed ! you really have marvelous neighbour SUPER GUY and HIS DOG DAKOTA !!! GP ! Your arm are starting to get bigger ! Are you doing some push up training ??? LOL Cheers !!!
Nice job Gord & Guy, ( mistakenly called him Gus earlier on! ) A question for Guy, both oxygen & acetylene have become outrageously expensive down here in New England these past few years now, how they treating you with prices these days in the North Country? I like the metal cutting saw too btw... Gord, where were those ear plugs running the paddle grinder? My ears are ringing just thinking about it! Lol! Bill on the Hill, Vermont, USA... :~)
LOL. Hey, I think they were.....ummmm...not in my ears...where they should have been?... got me. LOL. Thanks Bill. I will ask Guy about the $$. Have a wonderful weekend!
Good morning SFC! The QH is about 80 lbs but I don't think I have ever used all the lifting capacity of the 3 point hitch so it has not been an issue for me personally. The mod itself on the carryall was pretty immaterial from a weight perspective as well so i don't think I should see any difference. Thanks for watching and for the question. Cheers!
I wish I had a neighbor like Guy! Nice rework of your carryall. Also like to say you are getting really good at your videos. They seem to flow better and using multiple camera angles works well. Are you using two cameras, or are you recording everything from one view and then moving the camera and recording everything from the other? Keep up the great work and can't wait for the next video!
Good morning and thanks very much MD. Yes, Guy is a great friend and neighbour. I appreciate the comments on the video quality, I still have lots to learn as I go so hopefully they will continue to get better over time as well. I use multiple cameras and I do both, depending on what I am shooting and where etc. Thanks again and have a great weekend!
Good morning Martin. I believe they should if they are category 1 hitches. One important thing to note, as you see here, is that I believe you need to buy a bushing kit for each of your implements to increase the diameter of the pins, similar to what I have done. Cheers and good luck!
Good morning CM! Great to hear from you. Just one on there. I got it a while ago. I picked it up at Princess Auto. It was about $12.00 I think. Actually is pretty handy especially when backing up. Cheers and hope all is going well!
Everybody needs a neighbor like Guy
Well said! I am very fortunate for sure. Cheers Wayne!
Doggone it GP, there you go spoiling yourself with that Quick Hitch !! It sure does ease the sometimes aggravating hook up process. I'm fairly OCD about keeping my stuff looking good, so when you make something that you can sorta trash on and who cares......I love it!!!
Sorry, I'm behind on videos, GP. Yep, it sure is nice and definitely handy to have implements quick hitch compatible. Enjoyed a full watch.
Hey good morning Houndsman! Hope you are doing well. Cheers!
Guy is the kind of neighbor everyone wants.
He sure is TPG. I am pretty fortunate. Cheers!
Hi GP! I really enjoyed this video! Loved the split screen departure/arrival and the dog in the carry all. Great work on the carry all quick hitch adaptation! Cheers, my friend!

Not yet delivered... But for the quick hitch, I have done some research and it goes like this.
Ways to hook up :
1- buy bushings for all my implements (40+$/set) (costly here in CAN?)
2- Buy lower link pin of cat 3 with cat 2 threading and swap lower pins of all implements (and enlarge hole) (10$/set at Agrisup + customs)

LOL ODD! Now if I can get him out of the carryall, I can start using it more. :)) Cheers and thanks very much!
Good to see you finally treated yourself to a quick hitch. 👍
LOL Dan. Me too. Man, it is too easy. Cheers!
Another great video. I enjoyed it. 👍
Thanks!
My kinda day right there! - Hangin out with a good friend, doin some fabricating, bettering equipment!👍👍
Always a good day hanging out at Guy's workshop! :) Cheers BB!

You too - thanks very much pal!
G&G Fabricators. It has a nice ring to it!! Great work, great fabrication. I’ve said it before, but you guys make a great team! Cheers!!🍻
LOL! Good morning and thanks very kindly Mike! Have a wonderful week!
Good job. Some of my favored tools are those I have built myself and/or rebuilt to my needs. As a bonus after years of use they each have great memories that only get better with time. Thanks for sharing

Nice job GP. You got a handsome German Shepherd he a good boy. I like German Shepherd they are great family dog.🐶

Good afternoon Kevin. Video #98 on the channel. Cheers and thanks for watching!
Love that German Shepherd
Have a 2012 B2620 with a quick hitch and have never had to alter or refub any of out attachments to fit the QH.
Loved it

@@GPOutdoors Thank GP, i should start very soon !!! Firewood is the my priority right now !!! LOL CHeers!!
Must be remnants of our hurricane.
It may be, because it sure keeps coming and coming. And really strong winds too. Hope all is well with you. Be safe!
G P Guy a lot of engendering went into revamping the carryall thanks been looking for a carryall being QH compatible we QH 05 works good
God Bless
PaK
Good stuff. Cheers Peter!

Good morning SFC! The QH is about 80 lbs but I don't think I have ever used all the lifting capacity of the 3 point hitch so it has not been an issue for me personally. Do you know if the quick hitch attachment either from Harbor freight or northern tools will fit this kubota tractor
Good morning Martin. I believe they should if they are category 1 hitches. One important thing to note, as you see here, is that I believe you need to buy a bushing kit for each of your implements to increase the diameter of the pins, similar to what I have done. Cheers and good luck!
So does Guy wear a cape when he preforms all his super dead’s?
LOL! He should. He has certainly got me out of a few jams over the years. Cheers!
Are those two new wheel spinners on the steering wheel ..where did you get them..amazon?.
Good morning CM! Great to hear from you. Just one on there. I got it a while ago. I picked it up at Princess Auto. It was about $12.00 I think. Actually is pretty handy especially when backing up. Cheers and hope all is going well!
How after do you post?
Good morning Mike. I am not sure of your question. Can you describe the question a little further for me? Thanks
GP Outdoors I was just curious how often you post videos to your channel? Love the effort you put into your show!
Hi Mike. usually every 3 or 4 days on average. Cheers!
There's only one more mod you need to make. Add a 49 to it. 🤔🤔🤔
Ahhh yes. Something to mitigate the heat. LOL. Cheers Tom!
