Sorry to disappoint you bud but there was a smallblock engine that had those big block caps it was called an LT-1 and ZR-1 from 70 to 72!!! and talking about a 4.56 gear ratio I owned a 70 donneybrook LT-1 back in 76 and it was the only LT-1 that had an M-22 and a 4.56 rear in Montreal!( the other 5 cars were ZR-1's)

On a 65/66/67 they had a fuel line that was different at the fuel pump because the pump was a a little different location and only big blocks came with the rear sway bar also
Hey Anthony, only the big blocks were equipped this way from the factory. However, when differentials would fail with time and age, they would get replaced with whatever was on hand, so sometimes you would see mismatch of the components. I have a big block car that somebody put a small block diff in when the original failed, so it's fairly common.

My father ordered his 69 L-71 with 4:11's. It sings traveling at highway speeds and is all done around 130. 4:56's would be crazy today.

Did the L82s come with the heavy duty caps also? Because my 74 L82 has these heavy duty caps.
