This is really interesting!! I love the idea of bath/body reviews in the lens of someone with a career in sustainability. The soft music and cute drawings are really lovely additions!
Bite contains hydroxyapatate, which is a flouride-free alternative to strengthen your enamel and is approved by the ADA. Since it is still relatively new, I would probably use flouride over hydroxyapatate (Especially since my stannous flouride toothpaste that I have started using about a month ago is the first one that actually tackles my cold-sensitivity), but it is also an effective ingredient.
I used Lush's Boom toothpaste tablets. I liked the flavour (once I got used to it) and the foaming was nice. My teeth felt clean, but the tablets don't contain fluoride or hydroxyapatite. I noticed my teeth got way more sensitive the more I used it, so I had to add in a fluoride rinse into my dental routine
Thank you so much for publishing this video. I tried only one, local toothpaste tab brand from Trinidad and had not been able to get used to the lack of foaming and baking powder-like taste! It made me wonder if my hopes of changing to sustainable toothpaste were out the window. This review is very helpful in this case!
Thank you for these amazing reviews. I would usually have to take on several but you made it so easy to get it all, and with your honest comments and bravery (blue teeth), it was completely enjoyable. 😁
I have tried all the brands and my favorite is WelDental Advanced Whitening Chewtab with nano hydroxyapatite (sp?) This brand has tabs that come in an aluminum canister and has refills that come in cardboard and has a compostable bag. These tabs crush easily, foam well and has nice peppermint flavor. For having a better brushing experience with any toothpaste tablets you try Protip: put the tab directly on your molar and chew up and down. Dont mash the tablet all over your mouth/tongue while chewing. Instead just bite down on the toothpaste tablet until the tablet is pulverized into a paste thats just on your molar. Then wet your toothbrush and then brush normally with the paste you created. By doing it this way you wont get that chalky feeling in your mouth.
The music is great. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could buy the plastic-bottled product then after a purchase the store opens the bottle and puts the product in a customer’s container for reuse in the store.
I just found your channel, and I am so glad I did! I love your videos! I was so excited to see you did a review on these brands since I am switching to a sustainable toothpaste 🤗
This is very insightful to see reviews of sustainable products such as huppy, lush and blueland. I would like you to compare and contrast a mainstream toothpaste brand such as colgate to its eco friendly version such as huppy for your next video.
You can double check with your dentist because you are not suppose to rinse after you brush your teeth. You are washing away the ingredients that protect your teeth.
Haha great follow up question. I would say my favorite one after having used them for awhile is the hello brand! I’m wanting to try another one called Davids toothpaste tho :)
When the “Hello” toothpaste tablets are shipped they may get damaged due to the space that’s left so a cotton ball would prevent the damage
It also fills the space when settling occurs in the tin.

Aww, means so much! I hope to give you guys a bit more insight and hope that it was helpful!

Just noticed online, but Hello has tablet refills! They come in wood pulp pouches so they can be composted
Wow I just saw that, thanks for sharing!! 😊
