Switzerland the most beautiful place on earth! I have been many times and never tire of its stunning views, especially the Berner Oberland. It's absolute heaven 💖
I so appreciate that you guys tell how to get places, how often they come, how long the ride is, etc. I'm using your videos and the itineraries I purchased from you exclusively to plan our trip in Sept/Oct. And if I still have questions, I'll be asking Louis for a consult!
Thank you for this amazing video! Can’t wait to visit Murren from next trip. Your hotel and public transit info are very helpful! Keep up your great work!
That background looks fake it’s so Beautiful! The landscape where you live is so stunning and I love all The information as well. Love The bond morphing! Hilarious! That tunnel crawl through looked fun! Great video!
Awesome video. That is so cool that there are no cars in Murren. The views from everywhere you went are amazing. My wife and kids would love the bond museum. I am not really a bond fan. I love the thrill walk. OMG, that funicular inside the mountain to the waterfalls and the waterfall itself was amazing. That is definitely going on my bucket list. Thanks for sharing.
Great memories of winter holidays based in Murren skiing the schilthorn wengen and grindelwald ski areas hope to be back this winter after the covid disaster
We’re bringing our family (parents, siblings, nieces, and nephew) here on vacation this summer and I can’t wait to share this video with them! We’ve been here many times, and these are the exact things we want our family to see and experience too. Thanks for an excellent video!!
love the swiss apps, nice commentary and the housing there is something else... the cable car was pretty fantastic and the views around every corner are memorable for sure... the 4:37 mark was a cool angle i thought :)
Wow what a video! I appreciate the time that must've been put into this. Give me a broom closet as long as you give me a view of those mountains every morning I don't care what the rest of my room looks like. The towns are gorgeous. I love the James Bond display. Even more so I love the view atop the Mountains there. Oh man that fondue had me drooling. Well done on the video. Gave me plenty of bucket list spots to add.
Love your videos. They are the reason we did Switzerland. We did Zurich,St.Moritz,Zermatt, Montreux & Lucerne, plus the Bernina Express,Glacier Express,Golden Pass trains. We loved them all but really loved Zermatt and the quaintness of it. Next time we will do some of the small villages like Murren, Grindelwald and Wengen. Have you done videos of the latter two?

La Religieuse there is no Swiss German word for it same as Fondue is a French word or do you want to translate it as Schmelzkäse, and Raclette as Abgeschabter Käse, stop translating French Culinary words, the Krauts in their Duden made Restaurant into Restorant and nobody followed. The Swiss Germans in Gault et Millau call a smalll chicken "Mistkratzerl"i which translates as Manure or Shit scratcher and in French Gratteur de Fumier sometimes leaving the name Roasted Chicken -Poulet Rôti would have been enough.
Great video! If you ever go back there, the walk from Murren down to Gimmelwald is gorgeous, and the little village is definitely worth seeing. Also, the restaurant on the Piz Gloria is a worthwhile splurge. The views are amazing, as it rotates hourly.
I already had a 10 day trip planned UNTIL I randomly found this place on a recommended video. I had to change everything just cause I want to visit Murren. 😂 The view looks more beautiful than most places I have seen.
Wow the landscape there is truly mind-blowing! It looks like something out a fairytale! that really looks like my ideal place to live 😍😍 great vlog my friends!
This video is soo helpful and informative as you pronounce the places and also show the boards and bus stops and train stations and what not. Very helpful for planning a trip and I’m so glad I stumbled upon your channel ❤️
Your videos are so well done! Thanks for the useful information!! We will be traveling this August only by train, and I am limited to short walks. Can you do a video showing those sites and hotels that require little walking 10-20 minutes from a train?
Switzerland is just flat out beautiful. We have to come visit someday!! Stay safe you two and thanks for sharing this and continuing to bring us great vlogs to watch!!
Went to Murren today and there was a TON of construction going on right now. Also, the ride up wasn't bad, but the ride down was a little rough. It was PACKED and there was very little ventilation. Felt like a mini oven. Glad we had masks.
Thanks for sharing your time in Murren, Switzerland!! Love watching your videos! It is absolutely beautiful in Switzerland! I will be in Switzerland next year!
The tram up was stunning! View from the up is super nice! So great to see those snowcap mountains in the background! How do you guys come up with your list though!?!? So cool to see 007 place! Thanks for the list! Definitely useful!
Thanks for your beautiful and informative video. We are visiting Switzerland on last week of October. However we will stay in Interlaken. If we have only one day for Lauterbrunnen, Murren and Piz Gloria, may I know how many hours we should set to do the whole trip, Lauterbrunnen, Murren and Piz Gloria? Thank you in advance for your reply. It will be a big help in our planning.
Excellent video. Thank you for sharing it with us. Would love to go back to the Swiss, especially the Alps. Canceled this year trip sadly but hopefully next year we won't have to cancel again. Any video from Grindelwald?
Thanks for the video, Murren and Schilthorn are for sure on my bucket list, and will be visiting them in June 2023. is Schilthorn included in the Swiss travel pass ?
How much is the ticket to buy for Schilthorn? Can you guys do a video on where to buy all these tickets? or Put a link down on each videos of the the places u visited & where to buy the tickets. Thanx for the great tips & infos!
Hi Alexis & Louis, I was reading that there is some constructions going on. I am planning to travel to Scilthorn in September 2023. Can you please suggest if the mountain is still good to visit and the thrill walk is accessible or not?
Planning our first family trip to Switzerland and this video is helpful. We do have a 6months old baby and and a dog so wondering if Piz Gloria dog friendly?
Thank you for your informative information. We are heading to Murren on Saturday, do you know if the playground opens now? The wedsite said the funicular typically runs from mid-June till October. Does that mean the park is closed?
Hi... Again, very informative video. Could you share a link to book trains or buses to these places? I would be traveling to Germany next weekend and unfortunately couldn't find a single night bus to direct train to Interlaken from Munich. Do Shae the bus/train links. TIA.
So, Could you please give some idea, from which international airport is close this place and are there any public transport available? That would you helpful
wow!!! Thank you for taking us with you to Murren! It wasn’t on my list to visit, but we may have to do a day trip from Grindelwald. Do you think it’s hard to get there from Grindelwald?
As towns go, Murren and very nearby Gimmelwald, are the places that really make me feel the most like I’m “in the Alps”. It’s about a 90 minute trains/cable car/train trip from Grindelwald to Murren. You can take trains from 1) a flat route from Grindelwald (via Zweilutschinen) or 2)a slightly longer mountainous route via Kleine Scheidegg/Wengen. However, if you have time to add a couple of hours to that, skip these trains and take a gondola from Grindelwald up to Mannlichen, and walk (20-25 mins for those in reasonable cardio condition) up to the Royal Walk observation point for an amazing and unique view (even for Switzerland). Then take a cable car down to Wengen, where you can stroll their Main Street before taking the train down to Lauterbrunnen, when you can then cross the street to get on the cable car up to the train to Murren. Went staying in The Berner Oberland area, it is important to think of the whole area as a big circle - Interlaken, Grindelwald/First, Jungfrau Joch, and the Lauterbrunnen Valley (which includes Wengen, Murren/Gimmelwald, Piz Gloria, Tummelbach Falls and Schynegge Platte)- and be sure to navigate all around it, making stops along the way.
That’s such a brilliant detailed reply. I was going to ask the same question so glad I checked your channel out . We are going in august or September have not decided yet
I’m going to Switzerland this October. Should I purchase the Jungfrao Pass? I am planning to stay 6 nights and Laurterbrunnen is my base. . I’d appreciate any suggestions. Thank you so much. Xoxo
Hi can you legally fly drones in Jungfrau region? We'll be spending 5days in jungfrau, including murren so just wondering if we could bring a drone? Also, do you think jungfrau pass is better than Swiss pass? Thanks❤❤
Hi I really love your video and i am planning to do exactly this Just wanted to know whether the swiss 7 day pass has all of the above included in it or is there some other expense Waiting for your response Love Minal
Quick question, I want to go to both Lauterbrunnen and Murren, is there transport between the two towns and if so, how long does it take to get from one to the other?
Mr. Tbag, park in Lauterbrunnen and take the cable car then walk on mostly level ground to Murren and back. Or once off the cable car there is a train that will take you into Murren. Otherwise I believe there is bus service between Lauterbrunnen and the cable car that goes directly to Murren via south bound on the valley floor.
Hi! Would you happen to know anything about getting a covid certificate in the US? I’ll be visiting next week and I’ve tried everything. The US has a covid vax record but they don’t issue certificates like countries in Europe. I’ve tried reaching out to the Swiss embassy but only get referred to online efforts but it seems I can’t get a certificate unless I’m in Switzerland? Do you have any info on this?
Hi guys! I would be travelling with my aunt to Switzerland for 6 days in December. Any suggestions on where we can spend most of our time in? And where it would be more practical to stay? Because we plan on checking in 1 hotel instead of going to different ones.
Hi Patrik - Lucerne is probably a good location for that. It has a huge train station and is quite central in. Switzerland. You can easily get to Basel, Bern, Zurich, etc from Lucerne in day trips. Interlaken is another good suggestion that is very well connected and centrally located, but you may have more options in Lucerne (and its better connected as well)
@@hoong1974200267 Hi Siew, what my aunt got instead was the half fare pass. I didn't do any calculations so I wouldn't know which one is better to get.
It doesn's look as if anybody has answered your question concerning the Swiss German name for "la réligieuse", the cheese crust at the bottom of the fondue pan. It might be a local thing, but we call it "s' Grossmüeti" which translates into "the grandmother", probably because of its rather wrinkled look. :-)
How long would you recommend staying in Muren? Do you think you could accomplish all of this in just a weekend? (note: I'm not a young lad anymore, ha!)
Yes if you just want to see Murren. No if you want to visit Wengen (my fav) and see Kleine Scheidegg. If you stay in Murren and do not want to hike steep hills a nice more level walk is go north through Murren towards the cable car that will take you down to the Lauterbrunnen valley.
You need to monitor your sound, as sometimes the microphone is too far away making it hard to hear and understand.
