    I have 4g63 factory turbo setup on my CB7 accord. The exhaust manifold is very similar with each other, just a few cuts, and it fits.

    Detonation did that.

      That's what l think, detonation, pre ignition. I've seen it on one of my sub Cb7 engine build. A f22b frank and comp ratio was too high. His problem was, he was driving it around w/o a proper tune and cracked all the insulator.

    I've never seen this happen before. What was the reason for the spark plugs doing what they did?

    • @sagittnet2158
      @sagittnet2158  5 месяцев назад +1

      He never figured out what caused it other than detonation. I think its from tuning.

      @@sagittnet2158 Sounds like it's time to find a new tuner. I'm lucky to live near Speedfactory Racing. James really knows his stuff.

    I think you could use those evo piston in the single cam f22a/f22b accords

    • @sagittnet2158
      @sagittnet2158  5 месяцев назад

      I did more researched and too bad l couldn't use it. It has a taller piston compression height than H22. Piston will stick out more than 0.040" pass the block. The wist pin is 0.001" larger than H22 but that's no big deal, it can make it fit.
