I own the swift spectral tiger mount! When I looked up how much it goes for I was in shock..! It was gifted to me 5-6 years ago, and by far my most prized possession lol
i bought one in wrath, now i wish i had of bought 2
i can't wait to spend 6k on a mount i'll use it for 2 min and then forget about it

Watching this video gives me so much nostalgia. I played WoW from classic launch all the way through WoTLK and I was a mount collector. I was one of the very few people that had over 100 mounts before they released the achievements patch and gave you a reward for 100 mounts. Long story short I had about 11 or so rare drop mounts but my most prized possession at the time was the Swift Spectral Tiger. Even way back when it first came out, it was still nearly $800 to buy one but I definitely considered it worthwhile at the time. My account was banned back in 2009 and I have been unsuccessful it getting it unbanned even til today.

Having been a WoW addict for 15 years since its initial release ive got all of these apart from the Murloc Suit. Yes i spent alot of money on things like trading cards when i didnt have other things to spend money on. And yes i still have the account. I will say though i didnt pay the kind of prices in the video.

It was from an event in Paris in 2008, only 8000 codes were ever printed.
It goes for roughly 7.000-8.000$

You can get the turtle mount in your garrison ! You just need lvl 3 fishing shack! :)
Big Blizzard Bear was also given to people who ordered the DirectTV PPV version of Blizzcon, not just people who attended.
I have the chicken mount got lucky when I bought a box of trading cards and it doesn’t fly but makes chicken noises when you hit the space bar
I got the riding turtle from the first heroes of Azeroth pack I bought. it was before they added it in to fishable mount. it was in MoP, when I got it. You could get it from BmAH if i recall. Sadly- it was the only mount i got from TCG. I managed to buy all the rest gradually over the years on AH for gold and I am missing only epic spectral tiger, which probably will never be in my collection...
Just wow. Really wishing I hadn't used my murky or spectral now. But even after seeing these prices my favorite mount was my Al'ar, It got way more attention. I haven't played this game in so long. Every now and then I think of going back but then I'm like no, not getting sucked back in
my guy left out that he pulls out a tophat and cane and does a dance too.
i just really really like the giant chicken mount and i hope they make other ones in the future
Riding Turle is also cheap cause you can get it through fishing, fishing shack mobs from WoD, an fished up crates. But its also a unqiue appearance, only 1 other looks like it.
I’ve got the El Pollo Grande card unscratched and was surprised to see it going for upwards of 2,000.
Riding turtle can be fished out of the WoD Garrison.

You can still buy Most of theese codes for Gold, there are comunites where people trade it prices for high tier tcg mounuts are in tens of milions
let me tell you something fun about 3 mounts in your videos
The turtle mount it's possible for you take free in garrison's fishing pool, you just need some luck.
In WoD, people was glithying the cardgame codes, for example, people was taking 3-10mounts per code, i got my magic rooster for 50k gold and 2 spectral tigers for 300k total(one i gave to my friend as birthday gift).
In wod alot people got almost all tcg mounts cheap...i hope you like that fun facts. XD
You didn't mention the Chromatic Sword. I can't remember where I got it, but as a Caster, I vendored it, Still kicking myself to this day.
I have the big blizzard bear mount from going to blizzcon. Sucks that I used it on my char though, and then ended up quitting at the end of WOTLK. Shoulda sold it....
the swift spectral tiger, alot of those who have it today are ppl who got in to the TCG trading sites with alot of copies, as it was possible to copy the cards for a limit time, making alot of ppl getting a ton of cash through that
i have bought swift spectral back in cataclysm for like 400-500$, it was alot back then.

man i wish i could delink the chicken mount of my account and sell it to a rich fanatic. Bought it for 250k gold during WOTLK, a funny mount but not as pleasant as 500-1000bucks in your pocket

Lucky I got the Swift Spectral Tiger for 650k on the auction house during Warlords of Draenor.
Friend of mine got the Murky pet at Dreamhack 2005. He quit playing wow shortly after. I don't think I'm gonna tell him how much it's worth lol.

Riding Turtle Mount... not ''so'' rare as u think it is. You can literally farm it in your garrison (wod). You can even make a raid for it, to catch those Murlocs (lunkers etc, cant remeber). They drop BOTH Turtle mounts, 1 from TCG and 1 from Fishing from the ocean. I got both in 1 day of farming in +20man raid. It took about 40min or so.
A long time ago I bought the same mouth for some gold I am talking for the tiger at 5
You forgot the X-51 nether rocket extreme, another tcg mount in the $600 to $2000 range
Nah it’s common on WoW. Don’t think the cards themselves should count as its value. The rockets only go for 2-3 million

Thats not true there boe mounts i bought my tcg items from the auction house and still to this day you can get all tcg items at the bmah
not all of them you can only get 3 tcg mounts from Bmah and not all toys and pets too.
I’m so lucky that during Draenor I caught the Sea 🐢 whilst in a party with my GM and given I already had it from Wrath. She in turn gave me the swift spectral tiger.
About 6months later I was lucky to score the Magic Rooster cheap, Boomy on the Rooster so hilarious!

Tyrael is definitely the most expensive item I think, the pet from Paris or whatever.
dont forget, 1 of 480 Cards to get the spectral tiger. You get the Card maybe, but the problem is, you can get the card without the code to. that makes it harder to get.

Half my income got to renting the place live. sometimes I give the other half away and live month with 0 money cause I have learned how to. Yes I do feel like I must comment on shit like this. Murky has been seen ok - I'm not in wow every day or every week or month (EU) Maybe it was this year or last year but how many has their pets out.. not many and baby blizzard bear has also been seen several times by me . The rarest should be when Blizzard decides that no grey are white pets are now allowed since they nerf progression and make everything easy - so why make them blue or purple - I can see this coming . This is why I keep them white or grey those that still are.
