I don't know if you read all of these I know you try. But my son-in-law had purchased the major part of what I needed to take your classes last Christmas bless his heart he was a fabulous man. he was just killed by a drunk driver 38 days ago and his daughter my granddaughter saw it all. So thank you I'm never giving up in loving memory of him I just couldn't live with myself if I did. I thank you so much for the videos and the lessons and I find nothing more lo vely for my day then when I get a sit-down & paint.
Sir, You are an excellent teacher and you motivate people. Your contemporary works inspires me to try out your works, I am not an artist I started painting with water colours 4 months ago and your tutorials give me confidence to try out things that you teach, Thank you so much,
Love the softness and colors of these roses and background! The slight shadow at the base of the leaves was very nice. Interesting! I love the heritage paints too!

Hi David, I would love to see more petaling of roses. My roses do become stiff as I do try to perfect each petal and I agree completely about re-learning techniques. Sometimes mine flow very nice and then the next do not. I taught myself with oil paints and love my Heritage acrylics from your shop. And am loving this watercoloresque feel you have going with the acrylics. Watercolor is an interest of mine that I have not played with yet. As always thank you for another great video and looking forward to more!!

I watched your beginning rose painting on your website. I learned a lot more how to paint the structure of the rose. I couldn't comment there but, I wanted to here for both videos. This one is so soft and really does has a watercolor look but more dramatic in my humble opinion. Every time I watch I learn so much! Thank you for helping me on my journey! I will be watching and rewatching your videos (even if I'm asleep 😉). I love the color of these roses. If there is any more Very beginner rose painting videos could you point me to them? Thanks again!

Sr. David Jansen, estoy encantada con sus pinturas, y su esplicacion es muy buena entendibles y agradable. sería posible en ser traducida en castellano cuando espliaca. Por favor. Gracias por su tiempo. Soy de Asuncion- Paraguay.
Such beautiful roses, thankyou and just received your book of acrylic flower decorations in the post. Looking forward to paint from them. May God bless you.
Thank you ... beautiful as always, although my roses do not come out as alive as your roses, I try to listen to you not to get frustrated .... I get energy watching you painting ... thanks again!
Unfortunately, I have tried many times to try and do your technique and just can’t quite get it. I never know do I keep the painted misted and move it around with my finger, or let it dry etc. I’m using a canvas not made too so that may make a difference. I do love your videos and your flowers! Thank you!!
I don't throw any paint away, I use my pallet knife and scrape the paint off and very carefully put little bites at the hole and gently two it on the table yeah it can be hard but that's what I do lol as I have to waste
Yes you can. I don't crackle any longer though, as my collectors really don't care for it. Most my clients like the more modern impressionism. But crackle would look great!

I want to see petal after petal
Is this oily paint or acrylic paint?? It really amazing!!
I only paint with Heritage MultiMedia Acrylics. I haven't used oils for 30 years. Thanks.
I don't throw any paint away, I use my pallet knife and scrape the paint off and very carefully put little bites at the hole and gently two it on the table yeah it can be hard but that's what I do lol as I have to waste
That's supposed to be tap the table
All artists have their own ways.. 😊
This color painting you could use crackle to give it an aged look
Yes you can. I don't crackle any longer though, as my collectors really don't care for it. Most my clients like the more modern impressionism. But crackle would look great!
P
My problem is I try to paint something softly but it become darker in value and become harsh not soft. Help! Can't seem to brake the habit.
Follow the value scale. Sound like your falling into a habit. So mix your colors so you can not make them so dark.
