  • There are a few things that I could call this - but essentially it's using the Push Along Vector behaviour to make things deform. I show you how you can separate the X and Y for a different look too. It is a vector fish eye effect in Cavalry App. I'm just writing that to help the algorithm!
In this tute it is just the deformation - not the grid animation (inspired by illo) You can see how that is done in a tutorial I did a month ago called: benko basics | Rectangle Shape
I use duoKo in this too - you can check it out at pepkomotion.com

Pepko Motion is the best in Cavalry, in my opinion! Please don't leave us, your tutorials are great!

Can these be exported to Lottie animations? Are the vector manipulations or raster effects?

This is vector. The lottie file would be massive. So, not really a viable option.

The fisheye effect can be done in the free version. The visuals in this, the moving bars - are done in the pro version.
      All scripts need pro also.
