I think there's a much easier way unless I'm missing something. Just create a character level modifier and use kerning between the words.

I do have one question based on your countdown timer comments. For me, I have a clip of a cross-ocean flight. It took 15 hours. Of course, I am not going to play 15 hours of video, so the clip lasts maybe 15 seconds. What I would like is a countdown of the equivalent hours that pass on that 15 second clip, just so the audience know it takes 15 hours. Can this be done?

@@colorcraftbychen - yah, the ones at 8 seconds. That give the impression you're zooming down the timeline. Neat effect.
@@FlyingLapMedia that was actually using a transition preset from Cinepunch. But if you want to create your own, I think they use some kind of cornerposition to distort the perspective and you can also add some kind of motion blur to it when you pan the transition.
I wish we could use gifs in the comments to react because, honestly, this video blew my mind for real OMG🤯

Hi new to video editing but learning Davinci. I'm able to install Reactor and setup my file for using vectorSnapshot but when using the script it does nothing and doesn't write to my Temp/Fusion folder at all? It doesn't even open it when running the script. Is it depreciated?

😄 i don‘t know if it’s asian specific, but the way you make funny comments or lead to a punchline keeping face expressions straight, without falling into overexaggurated laughter is just different from what I mostly see on YT. There is a way to scramble text letter by letter? I tryed with text scramble and follower by but unsucessfull
if that's the case, I think the only way you got is to keyframe for each character

how did you put a 'Stroke" around your text+.... I only know how to do it for the regular TEXT.
there's a page inside text+ that let you enable the "red outline" then you change the color and the thickness

yep, it's in the inspector, I think it's called "shading" page or something then you can select other elements for your text such as outline, shadow, etc.

not sure what you are looking for but If I'm not wrong, you want to make the text shown when you say it right?
if that's the case, you can use the "write on" slider in the text+
or you can also keyframe the textbox and add in each word when you say it, then set the "H Anchor" to left

Tab Spacing is anyone having issues on 18.6.1 Build 8? I can't seem to get it to work properly.
Not sure if this will solve your problem but you need to use tab instead of spacebar in order to use the tab spacing adjustment
