    I believe that the srixon zx is #1 on tour so that is a tough one to leave out

      Srixon utilities have unbelievable feel. But I don't have the swing speed so mine is gone.

      Most golfers need to look at women's bags the average male speed is the same as pro LPGA golfers. With all that said most ppl who or in the market for these kinds of clubs have above average speed.

    This was such a great analytical comparison of the driving iron segment. I use an 18 degree PXG 0311 P 2 iron as my driving iron. I have tried TM and Srixon utilities in the past but prefer the forged feel (versus clicky) and lower spin of the thinner 0311 model. Playing in the Northeast during colder windy months the 2iron replaces my driver and 3wood without question. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

    Srixon makes the best looking and feeling UT iron. New ones coming out look even better.

    Dark red circle they are referring at the end as the most consistent distance-wise is the Cobra King Utility, not the Titleist U505. The titleist is the circle with the shortest shots. Mizuno and Cobra look to be the best in this test.

  • @MM-zb9kc

    The 3 Utility 505 is 20*. That’s a huge difference between the 2 TM’s at 17* and 18*. I love my U505 3i as I routinely use it for 2nd shots into par 5’s or very long par 4’s. It holds the green very well and so much forgiveness off the tee.
    I was hoping you would have the PXG Gen5 Utility iron in this comparison.

    Why not the Taylormade DHY ? that comes in a 3 iron.

    Great video as always! I bet you might already have a video where you compare older utility irons vs newer ones, (which I will look for after I posting this), but how would you guess a Titleist TMB 718 2 or 3 iron would fair against these stats?

    • @2ndswing

      Great question -- we'll add that to our list to film here shortly. Better yet, look for a Titleist TMB vs one of the new utility irons this year!

    Really good video guys! I'd love to see a video comparing the chunkier utility irons (U505) and the more player's hybrid (TSi3 or Apex Pro) to see what the difference is between the two.

    I love my Mizuno MP 20 2-iron off the tee on short or tight holes. Near stress free 250 and in the fairway makes a hole a lot easier

    It's really strange there is only 1 degree of loft change from the stealth 5 to stealth 3. I'm curious what Thomas' distance gap is between these two.

    • @CybekCusal
      @CybekCusal 2 года назад +1

      @@jakecowens5624 yeah but also I'm learning that the low lofts don't mean the ball launches low because of how low the center or gravity is they still launch very high. The height on my stealth is around 90 feet I think (per my skytrack)

    Damn near criminal to leave out the Srizon ZX Utility. Forgiving, feels soft, & launches far. I use it on narrow par 4s & it goes 280-300 right up the middle.

      300 yard 2 iron is a bit far fetched unless u drive the ball 350+. For me it's more like 260, 270 if I catch it really pure and my average drive is 320+ on a flat surface, no wind if I strike it in the middle of the driver face.

    • @GolfInHawaii69
      @GolfInHawaii69 Год назад +1

      Micah Morris, ex good good member absolutely bombs his driver 320-330+ and only hits his 2 iron 260-270 same srixon zx 2 iron. So u gotta be somewhat near long driver competition level to be hitting 300 with a 2 iron. I barely hit my 3 wood over 300 if I catch it really solid. But who knows maybe u are one of those long drivers 🤷‍♂️.

      @@GolfInHawaii69 that's about my average drive. I'm just in Utah, with an elevation over 5,000ft, so they carry 10-12% longer than sea level.

    you can't do a data comparison with a 20 degree club vs a 17 degree club and talk about launch and spin. utterly useless gents. compare apples to apples. use all 2 iron or all 3 irons or don't bother
