The one thing he's talked about that I have followed with rapt attention is his soul-searching over his comic collecting journey. I even commented on some of his more remorseful/bitter rants with genuine empathy for what appeared (even thru the lens of realizing he's created content for views) to be real pain. But, I don't blame anyone for disagreeing with me. I'm obviously taking a somewhat controversial position here myself. But, this is what the community seems to be interested in. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I think the fact that every few weeks he makes videos bashing comic collectors sharing their passion for comic collecting on RUclips in order to get views, says to me that he does in fact have problems getting attention on his own. That’s also ok… I’d rather watch a content creator that’s doing their own thing; not someone trying to be Triumph Dog 2.0. He wants to be controversial because he’s not creative. People love drama, and they like watching controversy. If he only did content where he doesn’t attempt to use some other person as the butt of a joke, he’d probably be under 1k subs. That’s fine too.
@@FrogBrawler I hear you once again. This RUclips game is a tough one. Even creativity doesn't seem to be enough sometimes if you want to grow a channel. Case in point, I loved your CGC parody song a few weeks ago. I thought it was both creative and funny (and inspired me to think about doing my own parody songs at some point). But, for whatever reason, RUclips didn't seem to promote that video. Like you said, that's totally fine...but if people are concerned about channel growth, it's a tough problem to solve (especially in a niche space like comics).
I hear you and I totally understand why people would see this differently than me. I think a question that I have been asking myself lately is how much of RUclips is "real?" As I mentioned in the video, the more that I think about this question, the more that I am convinced that we should see channels like Stickygoose's as the WWE side of comic RUclips. And, if any of the content creators who were roasted on his video had been on the front row of Summerslam last night and had one of the heels/bad guys point him out during a promo and say something like "Shut your mouth you fat ugly stupid piece of crap," then I think that not only would they likely not have been offended, but it would have actually been the highlight of their evening to have been included on the show, because they understood it was all an act. But, I think making the distinction between "real" and "show" can be trickier on RUclips. At the very least, my encouragement is for the creators who were roasted to take lemons and make lemonade and use this to build their channel. Anyways, there's a lot more to be said, but I'll pause for now. Thanks for responding to the video, and I do appreciate your perspective.
I had subbed to Sitcky, un-subbed, and then re-subbed again. The second time around I think it's because I got the Sticky character. And part of that is because Sticky found his stride as well (as you were saying). Now, as for a comment on your video here :) as a viewer I think when you speak about these other content creators' reactions you should include a clip of said video. That's just me though. Thanks for the content!
I actually had a similar journey of coming back to the character, haha. Also, I appreciate your suggestion about the content creators' reaction. I did put a link to their videos in my video description (and might should've mentioned that) and thought about including clips, but ultimately decided against it because of the length of my own video. But, I'll re-consider adding clips next time, even if the video is already long. Thanks for watching!

I might eventually put "official time stamps" in the video but wanna run this experiment without them first. Thanks again!
@@wahoocomics thanks for getting back with the timestamps. I think most creators put them in the description. Btw lots of drama today you must have seen it. I will continue following your channel and look forward to more great content. Cheers !
@@miguelh4750 I will keep that in mind, especially for the next time I have a long video. Thanks for the suggestion!
And, I actually just walked in the door from a beach day trip with the family. I can't wait to find out what the drama is all about, haha.
Thanks for your kind words and support!
Great take on this!
Thanks man! I appreciate it!
Goosed 😂
@@philtasticcomicsandart we all could stand to be a little goosed lol
At least we aren't sticker people...
@jacob_comics 🤣🤣🤣 I canceled the sticker order I put in after yesterday's video lol
I was really hoping both of you were getting stickers. Now my hopes are shattered
@@collectiblestoastonish 🤣🤣🤣 I might have to get a secret stash that I give away only on the dark web, haha
Didn’t see the video but he’s awful. This gives him more attention though.
I hear you and understand why people don't like him, but he doesn't seem to be having any problem getting any attention on his own, so it seems to me that it is in the best interest of content creators to use the controversy to grow their own channels.
The ends do not justify the means, but do you
I hear you and I totally understand why people would see this differently than me.
Community villian lol
You got that right, lol
WTF is going on here?
Just a sad man crying out for the attention of the internet!

Thank you! I appreciate it!
Lol me too.
The nerve of him. If I ever make it big, I'll make sure to roast you in a video. I'll probably mention how you had the guts to wear a UMBC shirt to Charlottesville, lol.
@wahoocomics he is wv boy like me. I'm trying to figure out what part but the fact he mentioned the orthopedic school in Lewisburg has me wondering. I still own my homepage about 5 miles north.
My biggest hit video was on visiting basement comics in Salem 1 week after he did and that was his biggest video about getting kicked out of 2 roanoke shops in 1 day.. He actaully liked my video.
@@CollectorAuctions Nice! I love WV. I've been to many of their state parks and it's so beautiful.
@@CollectorAuctions Very cool and that's exactly the type of thing that content creators should do to grow their own channel. Controversy creates cash (and views, haha)
I missed the video.
In my opinion, you didn't miss a ton as the response videos (including those from him) have been much more interesting. Basically, he showed his wife pictures of Comic RUclipsrs and she shared her first impression of them. Some of the jokes were edgy, which, of course, has led to the "controversy."
