Original Song:
• Led Zeppelin - Since I... Развлечения
You’ve opened a door that you’ll never be able to close. Enjoy the ride. This is the greatest band PERIOD
Oh yes!!!
the rabbit hole , my friend and listened to all Led Zeppelin albums on vinyl in one day after a two day binder , best day and best band ever according to Jack Black
IMO there should be numerous great bands, Moody Blues, Early Santana, Zeppelin ,Steely Dan......
Spot on mate 😊
Zepplin was comprised of 4 absolute masters of their craft.
Two were star session musicians who played for a slew of the big pop & rock artists of the time! The other two were raw talent with some experience!
sweet & simple
Yeah Jimmy and I think Jones and then Jimmy decided he wanted his own band Hence Led Zepplin
Yeah, that’s key to Led Zeppelin
One of the most beautiful songs you’ll ever hear…
The Rain Song. The Robert Plant & Jimmy Page version is a must see.
I'm 72, Led Zeppelin was my main early music influence. It's a joy to watch someone your age experience them the way I did 50+ years ago. It validates why I still listen to them. Still as fresh now as it was in the 60/70s.
Agree, I'm 73 bought their first album before it was being played on the radio. I was at Tower Records when the clerk was unboxing their first shipment of LZ albums and I saw this cover art with the Hindenburg on it and asked the clerk to hand it to me (I've always been in to aviation). Then I saw the name of the band and bought it immediately. When I got back to my dorm room and put it on the turntable I was blown away. All these years later and it sounds just as good today. True talent ages well!
@@williamhamilton6643 True talent aged well. Wish I had !?
They were, are and WILL ALWAYS BE the ultimate rock band.
That bass you heard is JPJ playing bass pedals in this song while playing the keyboards...
People comment on this a lot. Foot pedals are very VERY common on organs and there are little old nuns all over the world using foot pedals on organs every Sunday. Not a biggy ;)
Super common. I agree...people are amazed at something centuries old
@@sonnymaupin9267 Base pedals are NOT the same as foot pedals. Its a separate instrument, a stand alone synth in a bass range.
He's saying he's working 16 hours a day trying to improve their lives and make a living.
@@doomhunter697; Agree! Very offen with JPJ, the bass line was in a different time signature....
My Mom was born in 1929. I was born in 1960. Most of the hippies didn't get Led Zepplin. So the 70' teens said "We love this" !
Zeppelin's bluesy rock. As a teen in the 70's, I would lie on my bed with headphones on and listen deeply to every Zeppelin song. It was pure bliss.
ELECTRIFIED BLUES!
I'm 70 still Rock n Roll!!!!!!!! Keep Rocking!!!!! Susie
My wife grew up never having heard Led Zeppelin (crazy, I know), but one night we sat down and took in some Led Zep on RUclips - we did live versions of 'Stairway to Heaven' 'Kashmir' and 'This performance.' Before we did so I said to her that when we were finished I would ask her which she would prefer - to sing like Robert Plant, or play like Jimmy Page. And so we listened together. When we were done I asked her the question. Her answer was 'to play like John Bonham' I have never loved her more!!
That brought tears of joy to my old eyes 💜
The way he played that guitar, he made it sound like it was singing the Blues. Classic sound.
Shout out to John Paul Jones and John "Bonzo" Bonham RIP Drum God !
Next: 'No Quarter'
One of my favorites!!!
Live please
You can see why those of us who were around when these guys hit the world and changed everything are still enthralled with them, and always will be.
RightON!!! MagicalBelovedOtherWorldlyLedZeppelinForeverInfinity&Beyond!!!
These guys were so young when they did this. So much talent at that age.
I saw Led Zeppelin in concert in 1969 and 1970. At the 1970 concert I saw them do this song. They were electrifying in concert.
There will never be another! The GOATS! 😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
here here
It’s worth remembering this was 50 years ago , before personal computers , the internet , mobile phones , cds and RUclips
And before cars, trains, planes and sliced bread. 😝
What a glorious time
Scatting has been around for over 100 years. Many of the old jazz singers scatted. Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Scatman Crothers, and many many many more even being Crosby scatted.
I was at this concert. I was in high school and LED was the greatest rock band on the planet. All 4 members are GOATS and when Page brought them together as a band they became legends. I feel that you missed the fact that John Paul Jones was on keys during this song, so while he was on keys the great bass you heard was produced on his foot pedals. Their most popular songs are Stairway to Heaven and Kashmir but they all bang.
You were? Dang! Good for you! Convinced I was in that crowd but died, sometime after, had to pay for sins so reincarnated and nothing's been the same since :(
She has to listen to “when the levee breaks”
RightON!!! Best Band EVER period! To me anyway
@SAC-ECM Lucky you!!! I was a young teen back in the 80s, when my best friend introduced me to "The Song Remains The Same" in one of those old-fashioned, balcony movie houses (Somerville Theater, Massachusetts), and it was a midnight show. While it wasn't live, we watched it on a BIG screen, and the crowd was heavily into it, so it almost felt live. From that moment, Zeppelin has been my all-time favorite band.
At last count, no less than 2.5 million people on RUclips have claimed they were at this concert.
Led Zeppelin is probably the all time favorite Rock/Hard Rock band in the world!!! Unlike Rush and technical by numbers, timing and feel. But Led Zeppelin is a complete all feeling and chemistry with each other. And each member is an ultimate musician. Awesome is the best word for them!!!
He means he's working from 7 in the morning to 11 at night
One young reactor said "7 to 11? That's not bad, that's only 4 hours"
@@bobcantstandzyobitz9778 But that's not his meaning. That indeed would not be too bad and no one would complain that 'that's not right'. What's 'not right' is having to work from 7 in the morning to 11 at night.
“Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii’ve been working at 7-11”
Copycat
Imagine quantizing this song. It would totally ruin it. And that’s what modern studio’s need to realize. Stop being addicted to ProTools and let music BREATHE.
AMEN!
Thats a legit statement alright 👍❤️😎
Yes, great comment
If Only young producers would Listen!!
Imagine not knowing how to pluralize nouns.
Greatest blues song of all-time.
Some argue this may be the greatest live performance of all time... But either way there will never be a band this good again.. There is no one close ,, where all four members are "master musicians" at their craft.. Fortunately I was a teenager when this band reached its pinnacle and i'm a better person for it. 🤔Some say they sold their souls to the devil🫢 R.I.P BONZO 🙏.. #RockGods 🤘
Many say 73' MSG greatest show/concert in human history....
I was 17 yrs. and was there for both Friday and Saturday nights at MSG. During both Performances I did consume mushrooms and Cambodian leaf. In those days these "refreshments" were very common especially with bands like Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. Since there were NO opening acts (common for Zep) the band played for as I recall 3+ hours due to Zep "Jamming"... their concerts were often lengthly. We did notice some filming going on, but had NO idea it was a full blown motion picture production. To say that Zeppelin concerts had a very magical aura about them is an understatement. Life changing is an appropriate terminology to use and I use it with much consideration.
OH my gosh YOU are so very very LUCKY!!! what i would NOT give to have been there! ive been in **MadLuv** with **MagicalOtherWorldlyGeniusLedZeppelin** & **MyBeautifulJimmyPageMagicalGeniusWizardBabe** since i was 8 yrs old They grabbed me by my **Soul** & NEVER let GO!!! They put me in a **Trance** like an out of body experience gawd just wow wish there were a **Time Machine**
When I was in high school in 79', the movie "Song Remains the Same" was being played at the midnight movies on the weekends and we went almost every weekend. You didn't need any weed because you could just sit there and get a contact high. Good times.
We tripped
The old "dollar show" at midnight on Saturdays.
I graduated in ‘89 and it was still being played in a local theater through high school. 10:30 every Saturday night. If there was nothing going on you could buzz run down to see song remains the same,…… or trip, the theater had a lava lamp looking screen that was up before the movie started, it was always a party.
"Working from 11 to 7 every night" is a blues trope describing third shift work (most famously in the MOBY GRAPE song 'Never' which partially influenced this song). Plant flipped the numbers to make the song more personal, as the band had been touring constantly for two years... and sometimes performing concerts from 7 to 11 every night wore on the band.
Nice reaction, First time? It was 1973, I was 13 at a friends house getting high. we were listening to the albums "The Smoker You Drink, The Player You Get" and "Houses of the Holy". Both had just been released. He put Led Zeppelin 3 on, something I had never heard. It was a studio version but it was the first time for "Since I've Been Loving You".
Right on! My brother introduced me to Zeppelin about the same age. Taught myself my first song on guitar, Tangerine. ❤
I got to see PLANT AND PAGE in 1997 in Albany NY's Pepsi arena. Plant mentioned they had to play at least 3 of the songs from the new album (walking into Clarksdale) and then "we will have some fun". They quickly rattled off 3 songs then went into 2.5 hours of straight on Led Zeppelin. It was the best show I WILL EVER SEE. I am not religious, but I was in the prescence of gods that day.
Kashmir at their Celbration Day concert at O2 with Jason on drums... its LIVE and its INCREDIBLE
The first time I heard this song was aged 14, just before Christmas 1970. It was the studio version from Led Zeppelin III. I was in a listening booth with some friends at a local record shop and they put on this and Out On The Tiles, which is the following track that ends side 1 of the album. I was blown away, bought the album there and then and still have it.
I think it's one of zeppelins best performance. I was in tears feeling his emotions. Thanks Hello from Pa USA 🇺🇸 ❤❤❤
In 1973, there was rarely a band that captured the music world like these chaps. Jimmy Page was a veteran studio guitar musician (as with John Paul Jones) with ten years of playing on other bands work of arts and in "68 all that experience he gained ALL just bursted out into finally doing things, his way. Possibly the first Supergroup, they all were in sync and performed at very high levels. I suggest buying "The Song Remains the Same'" on DVD, these RUclips clips are heavily edited, as was the filming of these 3 shows in Madison Square Garden, in the summer of "73. Thanks for the awesome reaction/analysis!!
The bass in this particular song is being played by the foot pedals of the organ. 7:00am to 11:00pm, 16 hour work day. I would recommend listening to the studio version before the live version. Zeppelin never played a song the same way twice, they did a lot of experimenting on stage.
Just subbed. This is the sexiest performance I've ever seen 😍 Stairway to heaven from this concert is fire. Peace out ✌️ ☮️
Did you need a cigarette afterwards...lol...Just kidding, most people our age don't smoke anymore..
THE GREATEST BAND EVER HANDS DOWN ❤
This is the music of my youth. 10 years old in ‘73. Never stopped listening to Zep. I’m excited to catch the beginning of your Led Zep journey. There’s so much more great music to come. It will all be intense and remarkably varied. Great reaction. Looking forward to more.
Mine, too. I was few years younger. Sounds like my older brother is your age and he turned me into Zeppelin as well as Rush, Queen and more greats. Zeppelin has always remained my favorite…never gets old.
Same 16 at knebworth
The Mighty Led Zeppelin
This is Led Zeppelin at its best al four members are brilliant Robert Plant the best singer for me and he is still going strong. Legends
7am to 11 pm working😊
....that's blues soul passion 💙 .
Every note .
There's an even better version of this song from this show that shows the crowd reactions and they're priceless.
Now checkout stairway from the same concert.
In a lot of ways, the original version of SRtS is better than these 'remastered' videos. She should check out THAT version of 'Stairway'.
@@SEKreiver Originals are much better
I love your analysis. I was born in 1961 and was raised listening to Big band / Swing band music. My whole family has been involved in some kind of music with instruments. My first thought when I heard this was WOW music wise. I am always up for a good Led Zepplin song (or 2). If you were interested in hearing a different style of their abilities, try Going To California live from Earls Court. Just throwing that out there Have a great day
John Paul Jones not seen but absolutely heard !
Base & Keyboard 🎹 🙂 🎸
the rest of the band said JPJ was the most talented...multi instraments and arranger and wrote some of their best songs
John Paul Jones, masterfully plays the bass notes (not chords) with his foot while playing keyboards.
Yep, he can play 22 instruments at an elite level...the guy is amazing...all 4 really.
Thank you for respecting the flow and just listening...
Jimmy's intro conveys the TURMOIL that preceded what Robert is singing about.
I was 20 in 1973 , Real long hair!!!! Rock n Rolling !!!!!!!! Awesome ERA!!!!!!!!! Powerful Rock Bands!!!!!!!!!! I'm 70 still Rock n Roll!!!!!!! Till Death ☠️💀!!!!!
Music is universal......
It affects us on every level of our existence, whether or not we are able to acknowledge what it does to us.......
Such a great time to become who you are. Very high anticipation, at least on my part and im positive for others ,the next Zeppelin album. Because there was always something to stun you. I wouldnt change when i grew up for anyones. Yes i love led Zeppelin ❤️ ✌️
Jimmy Page (guitar) of Led Zeppelin was a huge fan of American blues music and that was a big inspiration of Zeppelin's music... The studio version of "Since I've been loving you" was different from this live version... mainly because the band improvised a lot of parts live. Zeppelin was a band that could be hit-or-miss in terms of improvisation, depending on how high the band members were onstage... This was one of the better performances captured on film, even though the band was not in the best form for those 1973 concerts.
Led Zeppelin was not a veteran band when they formed in 1968 in England... Jimmy Page was a studio pro who had joined The Yardbirds in 1966, a band that had legendary guitarists Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck in the line-up... When the singer and drummer of The Yardbirds quit the band in 1968, Page wanted the band to continue... He couldn't find any new singers in London, so he looked for talent elsewhere - Jimmy Page found a 19 yr old singer Robert Plant singing in Birmingham up North and was blown away by his range... Page invited Plant to London where the 2 bonded over American blues.
Plant recommended his friend John Bonham to replace the Yardbirds' drummer; Bonham was a powerhouse drummer... only 20 yrs old and could hit & groove hard... Page went up to see John Bonham play and was enthusiastic. He demanded their manager Peter Grant get him for his new band that was initially 'The New Yardbirds'... Grant finally convinced John Bonham to join his friend Robert Plant in Page's new band.
John Paul Jones was a highly schooled musician, composer and arranger ... he could play bass, keyboards, piano, mandolin, guitar, etc... He was an established pro who made a living composing for other artists. Jones had worked w/ Jimmy Page in the 60's and when he heard that the guitarist was putting together a new band, he offered to join on bass... Page knew that Jones was a high-caliber musician and accepted him for 'The New Yardbirds'.
Jones said the band came together in 1968 to rehearse for the first time and once they started playing, the 4 created a powerful sound that none of the members had heard before by pure coincidence... Bonham's pounding drums and Plant's soaring vocals inspired an intensity and heaviness that was clearly more powerful than The Yardbirds... They changed their name to Led Zeppelin after a tour of Scandinavia.
Working on the first Led Zeppelin album in '68, the music industry was buzzing about Jimmy Page's new band... Manager Peter Grant secured a $200K advance to sign Led Zeppelin which was unheard of for a new band. Zeppelin began touring the USA and as the first Led Zeppelin album got FM radio airplay, the album outsold anything The Yardbirds had released and made the US top 10 charts in 1969.
2nd album 'Led Zeppelin II' came out later in '69, it scored a huge hit single 'Whole lotta love' and went to #1 on the US charts... With Zeppelin records selling millions in America, Europe and the UK by 1970, manager Peter Grant demanded their record label pay all the band's packaging costs.
'Led Zeppelin III' was released in 1970 w/ an elaborate record cover... However, fans were disappointed because the 3rd album was mostly acoustic songs and not the heavy rock of 'Led Zeppelin II'. Led Zeppelin did not want to be a 'heavy rock' band exclusively... They wanted variety and even recorded folk and rockabilly songs.
There was the factor of the music press hating Led Zeppelin... The media did not like Led Zeppelin or their music and they were savagely targeted by the press. By this point, Zeppelin were changing all the rules of the music industry...
Peter Grant demanded that promoters pay Zeppelin 90% of the concert ticket revenue (The Rolling Stones negotiated 60% of revenue from tours) Of course, agents and promoters were furious but Led Zeppelin sold so many tickets that they gave in to Grant's demands.
Another major change was that Led Zeppelin would play 3 hour concerts on tour w/ no opening act often... The Beatles at their peak could only play sets under 1 hour... Led Zeppelin's concerts were supposed to be an almost religious experience.
The band also became somewhat faceless by 1971 and refused to have the band's photos on their albums... They wanted the 4th album 'Led Zeppelin IV' to stand out for its music and represented the 4 members w/ 4 symbols. The 4th album scored an epic hit 'Stairway to Heaven'... and the record has since sold 24 million copies in the US alone and is one of the top 5 best-selling albums of all time.
seen them in 77 in Seattle and this song was played although i dont remember it, what i never expected was that im a bigger fan 45 years later.
I've seen the concert footage from that show. They were amazing that night
King Dome?
"the futures uncertain and the end is always near!” -Jim Morrison, Roadhouse Blues ( The Doors)
Great reaction, Rosalie! Led Zeppelin, like many of the British and American bands who were setting out the parameters of rock at the time, were huge blues fans and thought of themselves as primarily blues artists. This is quintessentially the blues, but with a harder edge that would inform rock music from then on. For something a little different from Zep, you should check out Over The Hills And Far Away or Livin' Lovin' Maid.
It was called scatting then, and long before. Scatting originates in 1920's jazz, a genre Led Zeppelin got several of their songs from.
Led Zeppelin has been my favorite musical act for around 50 years. Their passion, musicianship, and especially their variety was unparalleled for me. I haven't ever been as moved by anyone else's music. Until I heard Ren.
Agreed 100%.
@@TatjanaTomljenovic I really wish I understood what you're saying.
@@TatjanaTomljenovic are you writing in Croatian? And maybe comparing Ren to Jeff Buckley? It's interesting because in Jeff Buckley, i hear both Led Zeppelin and Ren.
Pitam se zasto mi se Renova glazba približila nakon dugo godina provedenih s spomenutima
Saw them on the same tour at the Seattle Coliseum. Never did I feel as much anticipation and excitement from the crowd and they did not disappoint.
You could go see Zep a hundred times and never hear the same song played the same way twice. So much improv and jamming there that every concert was a whole new show. You don't get that too often these days. Most shows are well-rehearsed sets played the same way every time. Everyone is playing to the same click track, and sync'd up to the computers controlling the light show and stage effects.
7/17/73?. My favorite SIBLY
I’m so jealous. My friend got to go. Thought it was at the King Dome. I did see Page and Plant at the Gorge. That was pretty awesome.
The best piece of blues music ever!
No one can match this!! Zep makes all the others just a little smaller. Amazing!!!!
This is my favorite live, & yes everything from Madison Square Gardens (1973) is amazing. My 2nd favorite live is live at Earls Court (1975) In My Time Of Dying, it is mind blowing. An amazing studio is You Shook Me, solos of keyboards harmonic & guitar, with amazing drums. Robert Plant’s vocals are amazing for every song they do, these guys are soulful with the passion of their music. Another very slow blues studio only is Tea For One, Plant missing his family, having to be away after a major car accident they were in. He crushed his leg, & didn’t know if he’d walk again, he recorded the album in a wheelchair he was in about a year. His wife had a skull fracture, thankfully the kids only had minor injuries. They play a variety of genres, & you never know what you’ll get, but it will be great. Thank you, & keep going with Led Zeppelin.
And this song wasn't on the album of the film when it first came out. My friends and I came out of the London cinema after seeing the Song Remains the Same and wondered when we'd ever hear this version again!
All four ... masters of the instruments and who could touch Robert Plants' vocals ! A symphony
Best band of all time
Led Zeppelin are one of my favourite bands, Awesome music
Excellent analysis of truely gifted musicians.
Spot on !
Thnx Rosalle
You gotta check out
Kashmir. The band members themselves consider Kashmir their greatest song.

PS: Love the German language and speaking it. Speaking of German you should check out the Scorpions "Still Loving You" The version marked (8 yrs ago) Klaus Mine is lead singer.
Rock 🤘😎
The memories also show us that we have come through trials successfully, which gives us hope for facing the uncertainty of the future.
Yes, this is ‘out and out’ blues. Zep loved the old blues music and performers and payed homage to it (and them) throughout their incredible albums. Loved the video, thank you from an old Zep fan.
It's more than out and out blues in my opinion.
Love Zeppelin but let's be honest. They stole most of the early music.
@@dtmracing1 Myth. They even 100% fully credited Willie Dixon for two songs on the first album right from the first pressings (You Shook Me and I Can't Quit You Baby). Nor did they even claim they wrote Babe Im Gonna Leave You.
Even Dazed and Confused is mostly their own music and lyrics. Whole Lotta Love was just some lyrics from Dixon. No music for it was stolen.
So even on the early albums, 90% of it wasn't stolen.
@@lyndoncmp5751 - agreed, one man’s stolen song is another man’s tribute to that song. Just depends on the way you look at it. For instance I don’t think many people would consider Zeplin’s ‘when the levee breaks’ to be a ‘rip off’ of the original work.
@@svac01
Yes indeed. Plus they credited Memphis Minnie for When The Levee Breaks. Contrary to the myth Zeppelin did actually credit on a number of songs. Over half a dozen.
Really enjoyed your reaction love your dissecting the Lyrics thanks
Does any current music have this kind of power? Pure talent!
im waiting for someone to react to the live version on this tour of Dazed and confused. its a master piece of improvisation. i beileve its 28 minutes long but doesn't feel like it at all. complete ear candy.
You should go out and buy every album because everyone on earth should hear the greatest rock band ever! They only get better as they age!
Who is the Mighty Led Zeppelin.
4 guys at the peak of their craft!
Led Zeppelin are still the most important band in Rock n Roll history. I enjoy hearing your insights they're very sharp, There's so many Led Zep classics but Can you do "Kashmir" from Celebration day concert "When the Levee breaks" from Zep IV album, plz and thank you.
i LOVE watching you watch led zeppelin
Of all the "reaction videos" I've seen, I like yours the best. You do a great job of setting the foundation of the times and imagining the culture of the time. I was fortunate to have seen them in 1978. Nice work.
I appreciate ya for not stopping this reaction! 👊
The Bass is being played on the organ, with foot pedals, JPJ the GOAT! 😎👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
You must have a deep soul perception to feel the magic of their music. Bravo
..."this is a whole journey and I can empathize with why some of you are not only excited to see some of the emotions you felt listening the first time reflected in my face, I can understand where that it's exciting to live through with someone else to whom this is new..."
Exactly! You are the first person who does music reaction videos who I have seen recognize this aspect, about why so many viewers are drawn to these reaction videos in the first place 👍
It's what we used to do in person, in high school and college and afterward, inviting people over or going to parties and listening to home stereo systems, playing music for people and seeing their reactions in real life. That was half the fun, seeing someone else experience for the first time a song that you know and really like, and seeing them enjoy it too 😎
Yep, I was at the Zeppelin concert @ MSG in 1973, and it was the first live concert I ever attended, during my Junior year in High School at the age of 16. It was also by far, the best concert / live event that I ever went to.
WoW so very LUCKY!!!
Remember, this is a LIVE performance. That howl is otherworldly. Few singers can approach the great Robert Plant in his prime or the musicality of the dream team of Bonham, Page and JPJ. When people complain that I don't appreciate modern music, it's because the bar was set so high.
They indeed are OtherWorldly Magical Genius!!! in Mad LUV with them since i was 8 yrs old Best Band EVER!!!
This blues song is one of my all time favorites!
Great reaction, Rosalie! 👏
I was there! I was born in 1956, 17 years old during this concert. Me and my buddies drove in from new jersey into the city to see this. I'm not exaggerating, every person there was stoned on something!
❤❤❤Robert ❤❤❤
1969 I was 19 and we were sitting around in Toronto mourning the loss of the Beatles and then, somebody brought in a new record - a group we'd never heard of before. That was my introduction to Led Zeppelin and we all agreed, yeah, the Beatles are gone, but it's all gonna be OK. I still have all my original vinyl from their first 4 LP's. This was how music was rescued.
The GOAT!
I grew up with this music, so for me, Zeppelin and his band bring me lots of good memories.
Thank you for reacting to it
Great interpretation and thoughts on this song. This is based on traditional black blues…..a particular genre and art form unique to the US and the black experience. All members of Zeppelin, especially Plant and Page, were deeply influenced, as boys and young men growing up in postwar England, by American blues (as were most of the numerous bands of the “British Invasion” ).
My ultimate fave song of all time. It's delicious.
This music is timeless I bought the song remains the same in 1979 and love listening to it all
Zeppelin is a German word. 🙂 I first saw them live in May of 1969 when I was 19. I became an instant fan for life!! I'm 74 and scatting (scat singing) is way older than me!
Within this concert film is the Song Dazed and Confused. An EPIC 28 min journey where Jimmy goes into the ether becoming one with his guitar
Hi, Rosalie, I'm glad I found your channel. I'm an screenwriter from Brazil. I live on a city called Porto Alegre, wich in the south of the country. In May my city suffered a climate tragedy an was almost completely flooded by river waters, after six months' worth of rain fell in four days. Now the situation is a little better but there is a lot to be rebuilt. So it's a pleasure to find your channel and see such a true reaction and a deep analysis of a lyric from the one of the greatest drummers and lyricist in the history of rock, Neil Peart. I've been listening and enjoying Rush since I was 14 years old; I'm 60 now. Hug from Brazil
John Paul Jones (who normally plays bass) was playing organ in this song, but also playing bass notes with his feet on the organ bass pedals. If you want to hear another side the Led Zeppelin have a listen to 'Going to California' live... it's very folky
Je dirais que pour connaître toutes les facettes de led Zeppelin il faut écouter tout leurs albums pour bien comprendre l'étendu de leur talent
Try to imagine what it would... Would have been like if you were there. All of it in your face! The vocals. The instruments. The amps blowing your hair back! I saw Led Zeppelin twice. Once at The Day on The Green in Oakland colleseum. Then in San Jose. They were calling themselves "Plant/Page. They had an ensemble of international musicians from around the world. Very awesome. Never forget those times There are some Day on the Green videos on RUclips. But live is best, right?
My mother and father , born 1921 .Grand parents 1898 .First heard Zep. 1968 , still listening and.other great bands and soul music etc.Del shannon was great, 1960.Respect.
If you want to try a bit more of the rocking Led Zep stuff, try “Rock and Roll” and “Black Dog” Trust me! They’ll blow you away!
Emotion...!!!
Led Zeppelin, the Best Band... Ever.
