This man is stealing your girl’s heart from back in time haha. Great reaction!
I would be jealous😂
Best band to ever walk the earth
No doubt. I saw them in 77 in Oakland outdoors, that was their last North American Concert sadly. They rocked the Bay Area that weekend. Wow.
👍And it's not even close.
This band 'greased the skids' for horny young teenagers.
It's not that I don't agree, it's just a hard statement to make. You can take other great bands and put them in groups of similar sound and argue whose better. Led Zep had a category of 1, all by themselves. So you might be right. No group did what they did better. With led zep 4 every song on it great
@@tommyval4047 I think they are often considered the best band not because they produced the best music, though I do like it, but because they were the best ensemble of musicians, each pre-eminent in their discipline with the greatest understanding of each other's merits.
The "girl out there with love in her eyes and flower in her hair" refers to Joni Mitchell. 💚🤙🏼
I was stunned to learn she didn't care for them. Side story: Jimmy and Robert had the chance to meet her, but were too shy. Jimmy said" She's a real artist. We're just rock and rollers !"
@@jamesscura7122 Turns out that Led Zeppelin were the real artist's. Joni Mitchell is good but no where near the level as Led Zeppelin.
@@gabreel8112 Not a real artist 😂get educated
@@gabreel8112 LOL Why not take THIER word for it
Actually he is referring to this beautiful girl Carol who is reacting!
I met my husband at a Zeppelin concert in 1969. I married him because he looked like Robert Plant!.. Still married !
Wow that's so coooool 😄
I've been listening to Led Rappel in since high school ( I'm 54). I was watching reactions and just realized that my 22yr old son looks EXACTLY like a young Robert Plant. Colin has short hair, but it's a crazy likeness!!! Love the story about your husband btw!
Led Zeppelin**
Does he STILL look like Robert Plant? cheers
@@hackupboulders lol Better!
so cute when she swooned when Robert looked at the camera
I'm just going to leave this comment once, Elie, your wife Carol is stunningly beautiful. Stunning. Congratulations my friend.
Great post. I find it interesting that as they both experience the emotional variations that Zeppelin is famous for, his eyes are very hard to interpret. But her eyes give away the exact emotions she's feeling. Sort of a body-language of the eyes. Led Zeppelin RULES!!!
I agree! She is beautiful!
Top Tier, 1 or 2% for sure! (Lebanon and Iran have the most beautiful women and handsomest men, it seems to me.) Plus delightful personality AND a fan of Zeppelin! Lucky dude, lol!
Hello from Switzerland...from someone who was lucky enough to see them live before John Bonham passed!! Your a lovely couple, love your reactions!!!
Poor Carol. She is not the only one to drool over Mr Plant.
Robert sure could warm the oven up
Ha! She looks at him the way I look at her. What a sweetie 😻
@@HeavyBrocks she is gorgeous.
Many of us females drooled (70s)
@@marshaphillips6463 I know. I've been to their concert. Drooling was a source of great entertainment to me.
They were, are and WILL ALWAYS BE the ultimate rock band.
There are a few bands I like and listen to more. But there is no way I can disagree with you because it's so true.
What ever genre they do, they MASTER! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
At their peak they sometimes played for over 4 hours and this song gave them a chance to sit down around half way through.
They usually played 3 in the acoustic set
Yeah they did an acoustic set from 1970 to 1977, except for the 1973 tour. I don't know why they dropped the acoustic set in '73.
You really needs to see "Led Zeppelin - Kashmir (Live from Celebration Day) (Official Video)" in 2007 30 years later.
Fer sure, one of their best live performances ever.
I actually prefer the one at the celebration day concert, especially because John's son is playing drums. Robert's voice is unbelievable.
My favorite version!!!!
You are a lucky man Elie, Carol's beauty is amazing. Great reaction, nice pick.
Another lovely song from their acoustic set is That’s The Way. One of my favorites. casual fans of Zeppelin only think of Jimmy in relation to his great electric guitar playing, but he’s also a master of acoustic. Eventually, you should watch his and Robert”s performance of The Rain Song from their tour in the mid 90’s. It is absolutely exquisitely beautiful acoustic guitar playing from Jimmy.
It's so cute how she reacts to Robert Plant.
With love in her eyes...
Zeppelin are the masters of emotion.
Love your similar enthusiasm for Zeppelin that we all shared growing up. Can’t remember if you’ve both done the studio version. It’s a must. 🤘
Camping with my best friend and bandmate" Toad" ... two teenagers and listening to Going To California portable stereo ... I remember drinking coffee by the morning campfire having coffee and saying like so many times before... " I"m gonna move to California" .... at 19 years old that is exactly what I did and still here today... a bit older but still 19 at heart.
I was at this show aged 21...blown away! 👍🇬🇧
Me too mate!
@@malcshone4409 I was 18
Love you two especially your reactions to the mighty Zep
A different side to Zep. The lady referred to in the song is Joni Mitchell who is a stand out singer songwriter. Check her out - she’s brilliant. She lived in Laurel Canyon in LA a place inhabited by all the musicians of the 70s. Led Zeppelin spent a lot of time in LA. Laurel Canyon are the hills mentioned. As lovers of good music I suggest you read up about Laurel Canyon. It was a fascinating place that defined the 70s music then and now. Love to you both.
I played this song everyday for a month before I moved to California in the early 80s. Great and honest reactions. It still puts me in a mellow mood.
Another showing of their talent. With John Paul Jones on mandolin and Jimmy Page on acoustic shows so much talent and then add in the lyrics with Robert Plant I’m sure if they could have put in a part for John Bonham they would have. ROCK ON !!🤘
Great song, great reaction... I've seen Zeplin in concert and I have lived in California for over 60 years, The song really made me sad because we are going the way of Atlantis, so sad. We were the light on the hill.
This is one of my favorite led Zeppelin songs I just love that acoustic guitar
I was 15 in 1975. We all lost our girls to plant😢😂❤
They are magical live! Mandolin and acoustic guitar only
This is essentially a song about a man searching for the perfect woman. "Trying to find a woman who's never, never been born"
Joni Mitchell was the girl with love in her heart and flowers in her hair. Her music is something you need to react to. She has inspired so many artists over the years. I would recommend A Case of You, from her album Blue. Or pretty much any other song from that album
Don’t worry, this old and cynical heart of mine still flutters whenever Robert is on stage 😂
😂😂😂😂
I saw them on this tour in Tampa stadium back in the day!
There are so many soulful and funky Led Zeppelin songs, I like D'yer Mak'er, Fool In The Rain, In The Evening, Houses of the Holy and The Ocean. I think you'll appreciate them too! 🤍
Don’t forget Achilles Last Stand and Carousmabella!
This is why I made sure I had a Led Zeppelin tape with me when I went on a date.
Carol is full on in love with Robert... feelings she cant 'explain'!
you lost your Girl to Robert already :)
Live version is beautiful, studio version equally so. To me one of their best songs. Enjoy guys.
Wonderful Led Zeppelin and YES peeerrrfect.
Nobodys Fault But Mine off the Presence album. ✨️🎶🙏🎶✨️
One has to listen to a lot of Led Zeppelin's music to understand just how diverse they were. Great song. I always enjoy watching Page groove on an acoustic guitar. Not a lot of footage of that. ;)
Such a Beautiful song
Led Zep are known for their heavy rock element, but they had a lot of songs that were acoustic / folk. As Aerosmith's guitarist, Joe Perry said at Led Zep's rock 'n' roll hall of fame induction, they were not musical snobs - they played all forms, all genres, and did so to a high level.
Chase it with The Battle of Evermore and call it a day.
Was in the audience that night , went to the other 4 nights as well, what a week that was.
Excellent tune. We'll done CC!
All the girls melted and though he was singing to them back in the day, he still got it! That's why we called them your rock gods!
Love you guys, your Zep reactions are brilliant 🤩 thanks 🙏
I would like to offer a suggestion to your Led Zeppelin journey. Check out Ann and Nancy Wilson (Heart) and their cover of Stairway to Heaven when the Kennedy Center honors Led Zeppelin. John Bonham's son, Jason plays drums for them and Led Zeppelin is watching them perform. It is well worth the time.
ooooh. GREAT track!!!
"John, picked up this mandolin and just started playing it." Jimmy Page.
nobody does Zeppelin like you two
Great reaction. It's fun to watch people's jaws drop when they start listening to Zeppelin songs I've been enjoying for decades. I think you'd really like No Quarter and Rain Song from live at MSG. Cheers!
Just discovered your channel. Carol is gorgeous. 😍
Helene here. I felt just like Carol the first time I watched this video and saw that gorgeous smile that Robert had…..and thinking how lucky the lady was that he was bestowing it upon. I would have been putty in his hands back then. A goner. Luckily I was never put to the test.
You guys are great and so much fun to watch you can't go wrong with either Zeppelin or Floyd two of the three best rock groups ever the other the Beatles of coarse
HeHe, lucky me. I was there. 😂❤
She's smitten. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
You guys get it , Zep was a force
Hey Guys....if you liked this song, listen to Fairport Convention. Plant loved Fairport Convention and in particular their lead singer from 1968 to '70, Sandy Denny. He LOVED her voice.
Esa sonrisa cómplice con Robert Plant !!!😂😂😂😂
This is just exellent.
oh i love this one. such a good song. its a more modern song, but We Are Scientists It's a Hit....love that one.
Carol got even hotter with that Led Zeppelin shirt on.
The genre is folk with a bit of rock vocals. Also, John Paul Jones is playing a mandolin.
You make a beautiful couple
There was a skinny 18 year old in the audience who was as blown away as you 2 lovely people.... Me 💜
John Paul Jones: Led Zeppelin's secret weapon!
Robert adds another goo goo eyed fan! Great reaction!
you guys are adorable. from 1:50 to 2:30 is about the funniest :40.seconds I've seen on RUclips
This would be a good moment to start with Pearl Jam. A power rock band formed in 1990 - first put into the "grunge" scheme, but they are just pure rock n roll.
They did sort of a cover of Going to California called "Given to fly". On of their many successful songs.
Anyway - thanks a lot for your reaction and wish you all the best.
Led Zeppelin is always ❤🔥
Here's another suggestion, if interested. "Led Zeppelin - Over the Hills and Far Away (Official Audio)" (by the channel; Led Zeppelin) --This song that I've suggested is similar to "Going to California" the song is from their fifth studio album called "Houses Of The Holy" released in 1973. The song features a blend of folk rock, hard rock and folk metal which showcases Jimmy Pages's acoustic guitar mastery and Plant's amazing vocal prowess.
Jimmy Page on acoustic guitar and John Paul Jones on mandolin
To hear more of this folk-music side of Zeppelin, try "Bron Y Aur Stomp" (from a style of traditional worker song), or "Gallows Pole" (a classic rebel-without-a-cause song), or "Friends" especially the live 1994 with symphony & african drum line. If you like that expanded symphony/traditional combo sound, check out the live "Kashmir" from that same "Unledded concert... it's a 12 minute wonder of exploring both the spiritual and musical tradition roots. Of course, there is also "Four Sticks" and "Battle of Evermore" that are super interesting not-standard-rock songs with folk/traditional overtones too.
You two are one of my favorite couples. You both are amazing. I don't know where you are but if you ever make it to the United States....look me up, I'd enjoy buying you dinner
Ty for reaction! Rob does look particularly rock god in this. How cute was that little grin? 😊 See you also reacted to Yes today. Excited to watch! My two favorite bands of all time. Zep first of course.
Robert was looking at you through space and time just to let you know you're eternal. They are Gods after all. You two might enjoy Hammer of the Gods. It's a book written about Led Zepplin.
Love seeing when Roberts magnetism hits a woman even 51 years after this concert was filmed 😳😉😬
J'ai eu la chance de le voir en concert il y a quelques années et malgré l'âge il a encore cette présence charismatique.
All acoustic. Jimmy Page on guitar ,John Paul Jones on mandolin
Thank you! This will be an after work listen!!! Yay!!!😀
That was fun to have seen you guys reaction to THIS version. I’ve watched this many times. I have the DVD. My first viewing of this, I remember being amazed that John Paul Jones played mandolin. I guess I always thought Jimmy Page did on the original track. And just dubbed the part in. I was blown away!
I saw them in concert a couple years after this video was made - I think it was my favorite tune of the show. About the middle of the show they placed chairs in the front stage and just sat and played. Bonham had just finished his massive drop solo (Moby Dick) and left the stage as they the other three started playing.
Ok new record! Took Mr Plant 4 seconds to steal ur lady! lol! Warmin up to u guys, good job. Love young folk getting rest old real music!
Ahhhhh! I was at this concert! Nothing compares
This is a Folk song ❤
I noticed that you haven't reacted to many British bands ,although of course , Led Zeppelin are one of them. There are hundreds of good ones ,from the Beatles , Rolling Stones to Pink Floyd and Queen, Fleetwood Mac and ny favourite band Dire Straits. You would enjoy the journey.
My favorite Zeppelin tune.
Take a look at "That's The Way" from the same concert, same set, live at Earls Court 1975
Jimmy is the true master of the 12 string. I think Carol as a little Robert crush going on :)
It's heavenly.. from the gods... probably the best song in the galaxy....
The studio album version of this song is so much better. Always best to react to studio album versions first.
You would probably love Babe I'm Gonna Leave You by them as well. It's one of my personal favorites along with Going to California.
Carol, youve been planted....................
you can put this in th Folk or Folk Rock genre
Check out "Celebration Day" 2007 concert an older band that sill brings it.
At 1:50 her basement flooded. 😂😂
Carol would have stolen Robert’s heart back then. She is totally his “type”.
I would suggest When the Levee Breaks next…..or Kashmir.
Very Happy you reacted to this one 🌺 ☀
Y'all will love Whole Lotta Love or Black Dog
The wrath of the Gods got a punch on the nose .. Refers to the California earthquake
The Lemon Song.
Uhuuuuu! John Paul Jones on mandolin!
Zepplin did concert tours in California two or three times a year. At first it was exciting but as they got older it felt like a lot of work away from home. They sing about that in Babe I'm Gonna Leave you.
Tea for One….Sick Again. Babe was a cover of an older song on their first album…..long before they got tired of touring,
