Yea, swell. Where’s this build that you were going to post 9 days ago?
I would change hemorrhage with reap. With reap you don’t risk to waste your Rathma’s charge on your basic skill and you can use it at the start of a fight to generate a corpse for your tendrils. You can gain fortify with a gliph on the paragon board that grants 7% fortify for blood orb pick ups with 40 int in range, it’s achievable on the first board without having to increase the range of the gliph.
Necrotic Carpace (I think that is what it's called) with Bloodmist generating 1 corpse per second for 3 seconds is a great way to counter it as well until you get the glyph. 6% fortify per corpse generated with a skill from carapace generates 18% fortify just using bloodmist for the full duration. Bloodmist overpowering from Rathmas is also a really good way of ticking high dps I've noticed in earlier end game levels.
this is such a good point and i did the same thing
@@soulmare333I thought Carapace was bugged- was it fixed?
@@rubberduckiedogs It might have been, im not sure. Might be something I missed but it worked pretty well for me the last time I used it. Haven't been on since I got stuck on a double at work. Haha
Just wanted to share what's working for me. I do a blood surge build and leach essence with Iron Maiden. It works pretty well. Goes something like Iron Maiden 3 or 4 packs, hit space bar to jump into the middle of a pack, blood surge twice, if things are still alive corpse tendrils, Iron Maiden the pack, blood surge and destroy everything with the corpse tendrils aspect. I use sacrifice on the two handed sword, deaths pendent for the plus three to coalesced blood on the necklace, the bonus overpower when healthy aspect on the ring, corpse tendrils aspect on the ring, and the blood bath aspect on the gloves. I have about 1350 overpower and 200 Crit strike damage. I'm level 73 right now and it dumpsters everything in WT4. when I hit an overpower plus Crit on the corpse tendril pull I've hit 400k damage
Love your content, but I thought I might share some things people might not know about blood and overpower.
- So Overpower only acts off the base damage of a rank 1 skill, even if you have +8 blood surge, the overpower calculation will consider it a rank 1 skill. Not sure if this is a bug
- Overpower CANNOT crit. Despite the loading screen tips saying that crit + overpower damage text are orange; the overpower damage is calculated separately from the crit. Therefor, if you stack crit damage, it won't benefit your overpower damage at all. It will only add overpower damage on top of your crit, as if you crit AND overpowered separately in the same attack.
- Overpower cannot benefit from vulnerability. This is simple to test, just hit an enemy with and without vuln and notice the damage doesn't change at all.
- There is a weird, potentially bugged, interaction between Grasping Veins aspect and overpower; where your overpower damage WILL benefit from the + %crit damage from the aspect. If you put it on a weapon for 120% additional crit damage, then the overpower portion of your damage will benefit from 120% increased damage. However, again, overpower will not benefit from any other source of additional % crit damage.
- Bone Spirit from Blood Artisan probably doesn't benefit from any of the bone aspects or your essence since you are not "casting" it. This needs to be tested.
- When considering an overpower build, remember that overpower multipliers are only calculating as a rank 1 skill off of your weapon damage, max HP, and fortify. You're always going to have a very low base damage that will not benefit from other multipliers such as damage to CC, damage to close, etc etc. Overpower attacks have a completely separate damage calculation, which is why it often feels very weak compared to bone spirit or shadow builds that can benefit from the various damage to CC multipliers. Go for as much weapon damage (highest item level), HP, and Fortify as possible if you want to focus on overpower.
This has been VERY informative and game changing for me. Thank you
Hey did you test it? "Bone Spirit from Blood Artisan probably doesn't benefit from any of the bone aspects or your essence since you are not "casting" it. This needs to be tested."
You are now my new favorite guide.
Just a thought on a way to min max is to pull the healing from ur skill points and put a couple skulls on ur armour to improve ur self heals and freeing up points and get max hp on ur stats because min max u will get more out of it
Do I want to use a wand and focus or would a two handed weapon be better
Thanks for making this. This build is super fun :) i use reap instead of the blood one... but i might change back, since it felt a like a better choice. Im only lvl 20 . So i got corpse explosion instead of blood wave for now. Wanted to try blood wave ever since i saw it in the trailers.
Have a rogue lvl 45. So i got like 4 extra skill points. So im just flying through the missions.
Liked and subbed :)
Lvl 51 now. Changed reap for the bone one which makes enemies vunerable (also got higher lucky hit chance %), since i got the aspec making bloodmist spawn corpses and explodes them. Also changed bloodwave to Bone storm, cause of aspect giving me an extra barrier for each enemy hit. Super tanky and fun.
Just thought i would share this.
I try to get my blood stacks to 4 so when my free overpower at 15 sec, i get 4 overpower hits in a row on an elite. Also I used the aspect that gives bonus damage when consuming corpse up to 5.
Been using very similar build, however im only lvl 50. that blood surge deletes everyone in the screen in 2casts, corpse explosion instead of tendrils for some extra dmg over time and essence generation. Similar premise, still enjoying tweaking it every couple levels! :)
I also prefer corpse explosion, especially since you can easily farm legendary that will make blood mist trigger it so you dont even need to waste a move slot on it
i had 9k atk power and 800% overpowered damage but the output is around 20-40k damage only. im not sure whether the calculation bug or intended
Man I had half that and was hitting for 90k not sure what’s going on with your build
@@Onepeg hmm okay.. i need to do more research on it i guess. do your build have cr and cd?
I would love to see the final build of this. We're you planning on making a build once you finish it?
Also is there a way I can see a link to this build for diablo 4 builder? Unless you didn't post it already
yeah I'm still working through it collecting gear. Unfortunately this guy died, so we're getting there.
What helmet is that i never saw it.
Does it only drop in Torment ?
I been using a similar build, im level 71 can do nightmare 25 solo so far. I have had pretty good results with stacking barrier to keep the Aspect of Untimely Death stacked as much as possible, i also put the aspect on my amulet over blood nova intial hit damage makes up the difference with Blood-bathed aspect on a ring. I also use Temerity to keep stacks at all times and Mother's Embrace with a max roll really helps the resource cost for the build. try using the bone storm variant i think its better with the overpowered crits clearing the entire screen. Still have resource problems though
Hey i have been having alot of fun running a variation of this build! Any update on your progress would be sick
i play a minion version of this with ring of mendeln, mothers embrace, and deathspeakers pendant. its probably not as good on HC but as a 77 on softcore i have been doing 30-35 nightmares with ease.
Blood mist with corpse explosion and miasma is a game changer! Food for thought 😊
Where is miasma?
@@OgSleep purple passives neaar explosion
What do you use for book of the dead?
what is generating essence in this build?
What is the name of that helmet (hood) and how did you get it? Looks awesome
runic helmet skin random drops from 70+
@@Onepeg Thanks for the reply man. I’m level 60 now so getting there haha!
Nice build, how about the sacrifices tho?
What helmet is he using? And how do I get it
fucking great video, we're just waiting for the paragon now
how do u obtain the mask please? i know the set uses 2 uniques minimun, but can be used with unique gloves too, more a less corpse ghosting. And 3 tidal waves (that i haven´t found it yet) but iñm finishing to get all the tmogs for the head and i don´t know where or how to find it, i see you have it as a tmog, but i wanna more more if you can do it. Maybe is for the level, but im 63 and don´t know.
What's that helmet and chest armor called?
Love the shadow build
Runic
What do you think about a blood lance build?
I use this build but opted for Iron Maiden, you lose CD but you gain infinite essence while speed farming
you think it can viable as a leveling build or more like at mid end game option ?
It’s very good for levelling. Lots of dmg reduction. Takes time to really get to it being powerful though
Hey friend, thanks for the cool guide. I did a similar build but with my own flavour, but after having the unique chest drop (every 9 blood orbs) I switched to that. I noticed that it's a pain to proc bone spirit and even when I play around it, it does very mediocre damage. I'm level 56 currently, and my bone spirit feels like when it procs it will do way less damage than just a single blood surge will. I was excited when the chest piece dropped but now I feel like I'm wasting skill points on bone spirit and would be better off playing less around blood orbs and budgeting my power elsewhere. Is there something I'm missing? Would love if you or anyone else could give some insight! Thank you
Which one is recommended for use. Shadow or Blood?
Whichever one you think looks more fun for your playstyle :D Try them both. Respec is cheap :P
From what I found playing the Necro bonus for ranged Shadow would be mixed you can move the damage around depending on where your enemies are but it takes a little bit as you have to wait for them to drop a corpse and blood are close up and a attack around you in a dot circle damage fashion to do the most damage though there are some moves the necro can use with blood that are ranged quite a bit but is used to regain your energy essence
@@SaintTCK that’s bs, some builds can’t even clear elites let alone bosses. This games balance is shit.
@@tylertrii9865 Okay... but he wasn't asking about "Some builds" He was asking about either peg's shadow or blood build. They're both good. Hence my reply...
What’s the highest torment key you’ve done with this build?
I’m level 70 bud give a guy some time
Double up your core skills with Bone Spear. Opening with BS applies vulnerable.
Overpower doesn’t benefit from vulnerable
Would love to see some mob kills with the build
can you write what bonuses you have in which item ? you have all of these but i don't know how to implict my bonuses into items, then please tell me how you got the bonus with 3 blood rivers in one use
aspect you will find as you progress that makes blood wave fire 3 times on cast. You want to focus on +dmg when fortified, +overpower damage, +health, +fortify generation.
What helmet is that in the thumbnail?
I play this since first beta. I think my variant is a bit stronger but even spikier
What are you sacrificing for Book of the dead?
Was wondering same, thought I missed him say it
I'd imagine blood golem, bone mages, defenders
@@exaltedgaming2800 I can see that. I ran with skirmish sac and its been going pretty good but ill def try defenders. Thanks for the input
Ah nice u did my build but i use blood lance instead of blood wave cause it kills single target fast. And use 20% atk spd on hemorrhage, u already get 25%fort from ur passive blood skill. And instead of tendril i use bone prison so u can hide/def and spam hemorrhage real quick to drop tons of orbs or trap them to vulnerable and lance down quick.
That sounds intresting . Might have to try that :)
Is it viable in pvp ? :)
Instead of tendril. Just learn blight for the boss fight. When u use aspect of the damned, use decreprify then blight. Increase 30% shadow damage. Just another option for those using shadow build
so im not sure why... im playing T3 atm and my bloodmist shreds enemy health... its almost funny. i was hoping to find a build for blood mist... cant find one
Why u skill skelets
Dude, did you see that if you use corpse explosion you literally HIDE everything in floor?
You can hide yourself, enemies, enemies spells, party member.
Hello? Did you really played this game? How can you suggest to play this build?
thanks!
where is the book of dead skılss?
Never showed book of the dead or am I trippin
He said no minions, so you sacrifice all 3. There is no need for a book.
@@gizmo2slow785 wht he meant was which variant is sacrificed....the bonuses r diff for diff variant
@@Venky-yo6iu he sacrifices all 3. The 3 sub categories of those 3 don’t each give a different sacrifice bonus.
@@ermagherd1204 they are, f.e. skirmishers: +5%crit chance, defenders: 15% non-phys resistance, reapers: deal 10% increased shadow damage. So in total there are 9 different sacrifice options. Besides he doesn't mention them, i would say the obvious choices are: defenders, bone-mages, blood-golem.
@@ermagherd1204 You're slow
We have similar build except some points i used on survival perks. I can melt enemies in T3. Havent try in T4
very cool build, did something similar to this in beta. Really wish necro was more fun 1-50 becasuse necro 60+ seems to be pretty fun, but i cant see myself grinding those levels in the state early necro is in
I just leveled a necro from 1-53 in 2 days and it pretty much steamrolled using minions and blighted corpse explosion. Leveling was so much better than my ice sorc.
1-50 was fine with a summon/bone build, even faster if you use potions on wt1. Wt2 does give more exp, but it's a lot slower.
necro is totally fun till 50! i runned all minions the whole campain very easy! after that u need to change
My only complaint is there's no command skeletons move like in Diablo 3 and immortal necro just feels weird without its signature move AKA command the damn skeletons to attack a single Target so they're not dilly-dallying in the corner when ranged attacking
@@edek13371 why do you feel you need to change after 50? Lack of damage?
I'd think you really need minions for this build, I'm not using corpse tendrils or a curse but using minions instead and that makes everything much easier. My mages freeze everything so I still have plenty of CC and my damage vs single target is fine. I really don't get why you pick corpse tendrils and a curse over your minions.
Well because you get a 40% bonus for overpower damage when you sacrifice these mages alone. Now combine it with tons of sacrifice minions buffs and you will see the reason
Kinda stupid the minions are so weak making a necromancer builds useless better go with barb and mage
all roads lead back to Bone Spirit tho
Lol
My blood build fires off spirits automatically 🙂
And again without army.... to bad
I found a build that focuses on minions on Google and that's what am using right now. Am not even lv 20 yet and am pretty pleased. My 5 skeletons and 3 mages hit pretty hard.
@@frankg1415 Even with heavy investment, minions die extremely quickly fighting AOE bosses. Since u r lev 20, u aren't facing any high damaging bosses. In simple words, the best way to play Necro is to not build around minions due to the harsh nerf to their HP.....Quite disappointed honestly. Damage is pretty solid but they ain't doing damage when they die in 2 hits.
The unique amulet is trash, base dmg doesn't scale.
And minions aren't paper, your armor is applied to them as well. No hp nodes are requires to have minions stay alive, ever.
Doesn't look like there's ever a need to play anything but Bone Spear, one shots all content while being immortal. What a joke of a game. :-)
what a joke that troll attempt was
blood wave sucks . i really dont like it
Slow down your talking to fast 😂😂 dayum
This build is confusing
This build sounds terrible compared to minion builds tbh.
blood build is miles better than a minion build lol. It’s not even close
@Big Tew how? He says in the video it's lackluster against bosses....the entire build seems to be based on giving yourself more survivability.
