    "Ketamine has been found to be a rapid-acting antidepressant in depression, for instance in major depressive disorder, treatment-resistant depression, and bipolar depression. It also may be effective in rapidly alleviating suicidal ideation, although based on lower quality evidence. The rapid-onset antidepressant effects of ketamine were first shown in small studies in 2000 and 2006. They have since been demonstrated and characterized in subsequent studies. A single low, sub-anesthetic dose of ketamine given via intravenous infusion may produce antidepressant effects within four hours in people with depression. These antidepressant effects persist for at least a week following a single infusion. This is in contrast to conventional antidepressants like selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) and tricyclic antidepressants (TCAs), which generally require at least several weeks for their benefits to occur and become maximal. Moreover, based on the available preliminary evidence, the magnitude of the antidepressant effects of ketamine appears to be more than double that of conventional antidepressants. On the basis of these findings, a 2017 review described ketamine as the single most important advance in the treatment of depression in over 50 years. It has sparked interest in NMDA receptor antagonists for depression, and has shifted the direction of antidepressant research and development." - wikipedia

      @@laylaariel3751 she was in the appartment she shared with her boyfriend when the accident happened. Why didn't she give the boyfriends perspective on the accident? Seems weird.
      The PTSD and anxiety also don't line up with brain injury, but she is spinning those off as part of the accident. These things seem to imply domestic abuse.

    Did you guys watch this video, hear her story? Most of these comments are 'she's hot'- she's talking about losing parts of brain functioning and a violent incident she can't remember,
    unceasing chronic pain and the need of this drug just to get through the PTSD, depression and chronic pain day-to-day. This is a really sad story and she's so strong to tell it.
    Please use some context clues or at least watch the video before commenting.

      Completely agree glad people are finally noticing. Pretty much any chatting with a women includes of many incels/mgtow sexualizing or hating on these women and just disregarding anything they say. Really unfortunate, just came back from the bitcoin expert video and 90% is just perv comments. It’s unfortunate because these are interesting topics but these creeps come out of the wood works as if any of those women appreciate their borderline rapey comments

    • @DeeznutztheOG
      @DeeznutztheOG 5 лет назад +89

      dooder It’s her body, even if she was covered there would still be these creepy comments. Don’t blame the victim blame the people who think it’s fine to say these gross things like imagine if your mom, sister or gf got those comments for wearing what’s popular/trendly. The shirt isn’t even that bad. Just because she wanted to fit in/ look good doesn’t justify her misfortune because certain people couldn’t keep it in their pants. That is fucked up and I hope you will improve the toxicity in your mindset for the future

    • @DeeznutztheOG
      @DeeznutztheOG 5 лет назад +38

      dooder I agree w/ you that the thirst is real but again If you watch Andrews channel a lot of the female guests receive those type of comments despite dressing pretty regular, it’s due to a bunch of creeps. Her tits aren’t even fully showing and if you are upset that her boob is a bit visible it doesn’t like you’d care to hear her experience/ story anyway, which is unfortunate because if you live in America many girls do dress like that and are well educated and spoken. Anyways this convo doesn’t seem to be productive I’ve said what I came to, kudos

      even when youre just chatting with someone with mental illness like ptsd and such, there are certain precautions u should take. especially when u invite someone to go on camera to talk, you should provide a comforting experience and not pressure your guest to speak about the traumatic incident if she's obviously avoiding it, and to also be sympathetic, not apathetic. he acts skeptical and disrespectful of her story, but he's the one who invited her to talk. it's just basic social etiquette and you can tell this guy has some social problems

    That's literally the #1 we're taught to look for in the ED because of the poor prognosis. 1/3 live, 1/3 die, 1/3 have permanent disability.

      "Must have been really, really small".
      Indeed.
      Unfortunately, not a shred of evidence is provided to support her claim of a Subarachnoid Hemorrhage that mysteriously resolved itself. It's probably just a coincidence that her "traumatic incident" instantly gave her a free pass to fail school, avoid getting a job, and end a relationship.
      But the information here - including her allusion to doctor shopping and the preening narcissism at 13:00 - suggests there's rather more to this story. An objective observer might suspect she's a garden variety histrionic with a cluster B personality disorder.

    For those wondering how her injury occurred and if the boyfriend was the abuser, This is Janes Facebook post from May 20 2018 “❣️why be hateful and revengeful towards those who have hurt you when you can be grateful for the lessons you learn from them? ❣️why not turn even the worst situations into something positive? ❣️i have gone through some pretty brutal things this year. just to give you an idea, my year has included recovering from a very severe brain injury, standing up against my abuser, having to abruptly leave my highschool with our getting to say goodbye to the teachers who taught me a lot more than just the lessons in the textbooks, and facing extreme retaliation for all of the above. ❣️i don't feel the need of going into detail yet, but i know that if many young women were put in my situation, they likely wouldn't survive. ❣️and that is one of the MANY reasons i am so passionate about letting go of regret, knowing your self worth is NOT dependant upon nasty rumors, and standing up against what's wrong.
    ❣️thanks to the many unfortunate parts of these past several months, i have gained SO much strength and gratitude towards life itself. ❣️i had a 45% chance of dying within the first 30 days of my brain injury because i protected my abuser in a lie that prevented me from getting the correct medical attention. ❣️sure, i could be angry and want to hurt the people who have hurt me... but that only would put me on their level, or even below them. ❤️just be the bigger person, put your health first, be honest, be loving, be strong, be independent, be giving, and be freaking grateful for what you do have! 💫❣️💪”

Cuz it was her father and my aunt respect that she couldn’t handle the truth even tho my cousins sis claimed the same thing and doesn’t talk to family anymore cuz people who mattered didn’t believe her. Also my cousin does not remember much before the age of 12. Needless to say I believe my aunt but give her space out of respect for her. But is true a person can forget especially if very traumatic

    this girl's story about how disregardful people occasionally are in the ER is so true. i (coincidentally enough) went into the ER on a DXM overdose as a teen & i guess got the bad people on shift, that day--they just sort of laughed it off & wouldn't even give me a citrate drip to rehydrate myself. i was having a panic attack & the doctor just kind of said "now, now, don't do that again." what these people didn't realize was i could have gone into a psychosis. i have since read many stories of many people who went into a lengthy psychosis after overdosing DXM or even died. the stories of the people who died are really scary . . .

      @@mymangobango3533 hey there! I actually only went twice, about a week or two apart, a year ago. $800 well spent in my opinion. I think I could use a booster dose maybe, but it's definitely lasted at least a year-- it also blasted me out of a depressive episode, and let me catch my breath and get on with my life, and make a lot of changes and decisions to help with the depression. Best of luck to you! Any questions you have I'm happy to help.

      Steven Ewald Hi, thank you so much. You’re experience is the most successful I’ve heard most say the relief they feel only lasts 5 days to 2 weeks which isn’t feasible for me to keep up. I’m sure much of it is the severity & length of duration of depression. Can I ask how severe your depression was & how long you suffered from it? I’m so happy to hear how much k infusions have helped you, I’m cheering you on!

    I feel for this girl deeply. Almost same situation I was part of a hit and run and woke up in the hospital with my head split open. My mental health altered severely after that, I have ptsd, depression, anxiety, chronic pains and a list of other nonsense. It gets to the point where you don’t want to even leave the house. Doctors have been prescribing medicine ever since, which don’t help. I def need to look into this been 3 years from the accident and she truly gives me hope

    I have an autoimmune disease called lupus. A few years ago I was admitted to the hospital because I was having a lupus flare, I had been there for 5 days in the emergency room not even moved to an ICU because of the severe state I was in and how much pain I was in. After about six days of being there a doctor finally came in and told me about ketamine and how it was my last option for them at the hospital , to help me. It changed my life, just one shot and a weird ass trip I was pain free instantly... 6 days in excruciating pain... And one shot helping me, not counting the countless shots of different painkillers and Tylenol and muscle relaxers and nerve medications over the course of six days... One shot.

    My old college roommates used to have ketamine "parties". They would go out of their way to apologize "for being wild last night". They never believed me when I told them they just laid on floor all night, so after a while I just started accepting their apologizies.

    Thank you. Also doing research on this. Medical m*fhia been keeping me back for over 20 years, with a dozen meds ranging from anti-depressants to anti-psychotics. Knew about this for a number of years, same with rTMS but a new opportunity has opened up for me recently. Hopefully, I'll atleast get to just TALKING to a doctor about this treatment/cure instead of waiting another 20 years.
