How do you remove your shift arm? I tried to do the same DIY but I couldn't get my shift arm out and replace the bushing. Do I have to remove the drive shaft in order to get to the shift arm?
I recently installed the same bushings on my M135i except for the transmission mounts. Did you experience more in cabin noise after installing these bushings? I can definitely hear more noise coming from the transmission because the bushings are stiffer than the stock rubber ones. Just wanted to know if you have the same
I have a 6 speed manual m235 also. Did you ever experienced any grinding when you try to shift fast from first to second ? Seems like I have to wait a sec or so for it to go into 2nd smoothly
It is, but I don't know why. From my understanding the manual transmission is the same 6 speed they've used for a while now. Should have been fixed already

No. Mine was bolted in so it came right out after unscrewing the bolts

Swapping out the rubber bushings for polyurethane and nylon as well as replacement parts if yours are damaged during the installation process

OMG, YES! It only happens when I shift quickly in the upper RPM range though.
