People protested at my old highschool. Like wtf are they gonna do about it? In addition of the point is that a teenager shouldn’t abort a child isn’t that way worse? Lmao
Same, the one that did the abortions was in the next county over where I live. Never told the protesters that though. Some local teens threw raw chicken at them, and they stopped protesting, made my month.
I went to Planned Parenthood a few times for feminine health checkups. One time I went there was a crowd of people outside with signs yelling things at me about murder and unborn babies etc and I turned to them and said “I’m not pregnant. I’m here for a PAP because I don’t have insurance!” And they stood there in silence for a moment before leaving. But the clinic wasn’t sure if they were going to let me in because I spoke to the crowd and they were worried I was an undercover agent or something. It was the most stressful experience I had had in a long time. These clinics have to be extra careful though, because there are nut jobs who have harmed doctors and patients at Planned Parenthood clinics before. It’s really messed up.

That really sucks and I'm sorry, you'll find someone who treats you like a king/queen/royalty! Can I steal that screaming I just found out I have chlamydia though? Because that's such an amazing thing to say to get them to shut up (sucks it was true)
I would love to know how they reacted after that though. I’m sorry about your ex cheating and the consequential STD. I hope you’re doing better now, surrounded by better people who wouldn’t give you anything past the flu (and only accidentally)
When I actually went to have one (the babies heart stopped, it was an unwanted abortion) I had a group swarm me and call me a murderer and I just started crying and said “no, it’s dead. They’re removing its decaying body” they left the parking lot fast af No, my husband and I are not over losing our second child. It was wanted.

There taught that sex is something to be ashamed of until you get married and then you get married and suddenly the sex is owed and your supposed to be on board with having sex with them all the time.
My mother literally decked a guy that was screaming over a crying woman who was trying to explain that the baby in her was already dead and she’d die too if it isn’t removed. Imagine trying to protect a dead fetus from being placed to rest while a heartbroken woman could die of septic shock if it isn’t and screaming at her calling her a murderer when she probably really wanted that baby alive

No, that is unfortunately a false statistic that they themselves inflate by essentially overcounting services. The number is quite a bit higher. . For example lets pretend the ONLY thing they do there is abortions. Well first they have to check, that is one service... So we are already at 50%. They also typically hand you a pamphlet, we are now at 33%... they do it both times... 25%. If they offer a condom, 20%. Notice how low I got that number by ONLY counting abortion related visits?

I've always told myself that if I ever need to get an abortion and someone comes at me like that, I would make a (fake) contract stating that the person who signs it is the new guardian of the baby per the stipulation that I not get an abortion. Then tell them that the only way I'm not getting one is if they sign that they will adopt the child and care for it once it is born All the people who want to restrict women's rights don't care what happens to the child once it's born, so I'd love to see their reaction when they're given the choice to A) make me have the child but also be forced to then raise it on their own or B) let me go about my business and exercise my rights
Don't pretend you care about people exercising their rights, it's always you people who are trying to take rights away such as the right to bare arms. Also, why should they look after your kid? Unless you were raped, it's completely your fault. I don't agree with making abortion illegal but I would never have a self righteous attitude about it like you.
Or have them sign an agreement to pay all medical bills associated with the pregnancy up through age 18. And for your child care costs (ie, an average of about $32k a year) because you can't afford to have the kid otherwise.
I've always wanted to go up to a "pro-life" (anti-choice) protester and ask them to give me a kidney, then tell them that by not letting me use their organ to keep living they're basically murdering me. Obviously donating an organ and carrying a pregnancy to term are two very different experiences, but I'd love to see how they'd react.
More so, even if they do care about the child their claim is useless. Women should have 100% control over their bodies; they can control whether theyd like to nurture a baby or not. Even if services were provided for the unwanted child, having a child in the first place has neurological and physical impacts on the mother themself. They have the basic humam right to control what they want to do with themselves.
one time i got called a murderer for taking birth control… One, I am a teenager. Two, I need it for my periods since they cause me excruciating pain and anxiety.
Bro when people call someone a murderer for taking birth control it just screams the lines; “Every time a woman has her period she’s killing a child.” Yes someone actually said that, and big surprise, it was a man (I know that not all men are like that). I genuinely will never understand how people think birth control is murder.
I went in there for a pregnancy test, because you need proof before going to an OBGYN and there was protesters I was so nervous to pass by them .. but I fully intended to keep my child.. and they still yelled at me for being a murderer 😂
It’s ironic that they call Planned Parenthood patients & staff murderers, when they literally have prenatal & postpartum services for pregnant people who are keeping their babies. They’re so ignorant to the several other services P.P. provides asides from abortion, those services save lives.

My cousin, when she was 12 years old, got pregnant by a 12 year old boy, and they both thought that she couldn't get pregnant because it was the first time for both of them. My cousin and her two sisters were living with and being raised by my grandmother, who still lived in the past, and she thought that as long as she didn't talk about sex that my cousins wouldn't participate in it. She found out that my cousin was pregnant because she got an emergency phone call that my cousin was in the hospital because she tried to kill herself. When my grandmother asked her why she did it, my cousin told her about how her and the boy thought that you couldn't get pregnant the first that you had sex. My cousin was a very tiny girl, and when my grandmother talked to the doctor, he told my grandmother that if my cousin tried to have the baby, it could kill her because she was too small and her body wasn't prepared to have a baby because she was so long. My grandmother asked her what she wanted to do, and my cousin started crying and saying that she was too young for a baby and she didn't want to be a mother right then. Her older sister and I forget who else took my cousin to the clinic for an abortion, and these aholes shoved those disgusting pictures in her face and told her that she was going to hell for murderering her baby. Her older sister, my other cousin, sheilded my cousin and told the aholes to leave my cousin alone, that she was too young for a baby, that she was just a child, and she started pushing her and my cousin through the crowd and so did the other person that was with them. The aholes really did a number on my cousin's head, and she would cry and ask her older sister if she really killed her baby, and was she going to hell? Smooth move exlax you win points because you terrorized a 12 year old girl! ( That comment was meant to be sarcastic). They saw my cousin, and she didn't look 12. She looked 10, and they were telling her to go through the pregnancy, risk killing herself because her little body wasn't ready to have children. My parents were in Texas because my Daddy was stationed there before he was stationed in Germany, and my Momma told my grandmother that she needed to talk about sex to the two older girls because the younger sister was a baby still, so she didn't need to be told about it yet. My Momma told my grandmother that if they had lived with us, we wouldn't have a problem talking about sex to them and the consequences that can happen, and the myths not to believe. A few years later, I got married, and I got pregnant on the honeymoon, and I had a miscarriage. I had to have a DNC, and I was hysterical. Then, a few months later, I got pregnant with my daughter, and she was planned for, but when her father and I got divorced and we came back to the States, I was working as a receptionist at a automotive place, and this guy was running his mouth about how evil abortion is, and I told him that I had have something like one, and he said that I'll to meet my maker and I ask for HIS forgiveness. I jumped over the counter and was going for him, and I was yelling that my baby was dead inside me and I didn't do anything wrong! The manager and a couple of the mechanics rushed to me and held me back, and the owner asked him to leave. I was crying, and I told the owner and manager why, and the owner was Pro Life, but he didn't push it on anyone, and he told me to take a couple of days because I deserved it. I'm Pro Choice, and I'll always be Pro Choice. It's my body, and I say what can be done to it. I also support Planned Parenthood because it's a safe place to get female exams, birth control, and other things. These people are really quick to tell you what to do, but where are they after you've had the baby and need help? Why should someone carry a child if it was conceived due to a violent act? Also, people aren't jumping on the bandwagon to adopt, so why can't these people do what they think is right and let others do what they think is right? It's our body and our choice.
this is why sex ed and just education in general is so important. your grandma should've taught your cousins about what sex is, and EVERYONE should be educated on abortions, and the dangers a lot of people may face if they are forced to give birth. I'm so sorry to hear of your miscarriage, and so sorry about the shithead who was going at you. Wishing you, your daughter, and your cousins the best 🙏🏽
You can also get blood tests and a number of medical services, like an all-in-one. Out of pocket relatively "affordable" without insurance and they're open weekends. @@jadecoolness101 i completely agree! women definitely deserve full bodily autonomy without having to gain permission from religious sects or male authority. women should be able to make those choices for themselves which is why planned parenthoods are so important for all women
My heart goes out to you, I also recently had a miscarriage :( I was advised to wait for it to pass naturally but I ended up having to go to the hospital to forcably remove everything because of CRAZY excessive bleeding. Also, the procedure was completely free for me in my country. I can't imagine having to worry about costs when going through something like that.
My teenage sister had to walk through these a-holes so she could terminate an unwanted pregnancy- in the grrrreat state of tex-ass. She had to fight to be able to even get this done because she needed parental consent and my mother initially refused until my sister was actually wasting away, not taking care of herself or even washing her hair because she was so depressed. My sister put her head down and walked through them while my mother (🙄) said she was embarrassed and telling these people she didn’t even want to be there so the protestors were telling my mother to physically pull my sister out of there.
they are idiots, if they actually cared for children theyd realise its best to terminate a literal unsentient bundle of cells because what do they think will happen if an unwanted baby is born, do they know about coin locker babies?
That is horrible! I would’ve been so stressed out and extremely depressed if I were her. Props to her for continuing to fight, and shame on the mom for prioritizing her beliefs over her daughter’s wishes and health.
@@HxwEKatuhhh, no. You obviously don’t understand what these kinds of people think lol. The mom probably sees it as literal murder. Last time I went to planned parenthood was so I could get the care to keep my baby. My partner ended up yelling at the protesters while I was in the appointment. Our kid is 14 and healthy, happy and alive thanks to PP.
My question to these people is 'Okay, if I keep the baby, are you going to adopt it? Cause I don't want it and it'll have to go somewhere and seeing as you're already SO invested in their little life I assume you'll take on that emotional and financial responsibility for the next 18 years right?'
@@AndrewJF And 114,000 kids still waiting to be adopted. And 20,000 kids who age out of foster care. If someone demanded I carried a child, I would demand that child have a single, stable home from birth and not have to go through any kind of turmoil in the foster system. I don't think it would be unreasonable to put that condition on whomever thinks they can tell me to carry and then give up my baby.
@@richardbailey6260 Birth control isn't 100% effective, even if you're using multiple types like the pill and condoms. I agree that if someone doesn't want a baby but wants to have sex, they should use birth control first instead of getting a bunch of abortions, but when first line of defense doesn't work you go to the second line. Plus, there's an entire debate on when it's considered a baby, most people don't want babies killed but they probably don't define what they have as a baby.
I remember going to PP at the age of 15 to get some help for my periods and get a pap for the first time. I was yelled at for being a murderer and my mom punched the lady in the throat, told all of them to shut the hell up and strode in line she owned the place.

@@lemongrassandsleep6352 I didn't know it was pronounced like that! I'm American and I've only really heard it pronounced without the c (so "hallah"). @@bluefiremarkii It's literally proven that access to safe abortions, sex education and birth control leads to less death. Making abortions illegal will and has already killed women.
@@ricaboo9304 teenage women shouldn't even be getting pregnant in the first place. However there is another procedure that people assume is abortion but it's labeled differently and is done to save a mothers life. Abortions are an optional procedure which 99% of them aren't being done to save a life, and instead simply as birth control or something. For example biden had recently wanted to force ER doctors to perform abortions. However as this violates the law, it cannot be done. This did NOT however mean that they couldn't save patients who'd die from childbirth, because those aren't abortions. They still do life saving operations for those women. Everyone in here saying you shouldnt kill "babies" really doesnt have any ability to put themselves in others situations. Abortion is only allowed up to a certain point, where the fetus hasnt developed properly yet. It can be done per medication or surgery. If this time period was passed, you are forced to birth the baby. Even the abortion itself is not a nice experience, nothing anybody would love to do anytime. So the decision already is a hard one. Everybody has a reason for their abortion though. Whether it be because theyre too young, cant take care of the child properly, have future plans for a career that a child would fully ruin, or because they simply dont want a child and it was an accident. All these reasons should be respected, as they are not coming out of nowhere and have serious consequences. Saying youre "killing a baby" is completely wrong, as the fetus is not developed at abortion and nothing more than cells. It cant think, it doesnt know it exists, it lacks features that would make it a human being such as self-awareness. Theres nothing more to it, it doesnt need empathy and it is most of all: unwanted. If you want the fetus to become a Baby and give birth to it, keep it. But that should only be the case if you want to. So dont say abortion should be forbidden or anything, it should be a choice for everyone. Or will you be the one to carry that persons Baby, suffer for the next 9 months internally and mentally, even more so at birth? You are not the pregnant one. If you wouldnt abort, dont do it. Thats also YOUR decision. But forcing your decision on somebody else is just sickening. You dont control everybodys life and there are worse matters you should be worrying about. Mind your own life, your own baby if you have one and dont make your choice a law that everybody should abide by. Its their life and their decision, nobody suffers from the choice except the one wanting to make it. But lets say you kept the fetus and it grows to a baby you give birth to. What then? The Adoption System worldwide is a mess and overworked. We're facing overpopulation. People would rather have their own children than adopt one (or rather not have them but you make them have it). This way there are always more children to be adopted, less people who want to take them. Children are deserted on the streets. Infanticide. These children mostly wont even have a bright future, if even a future at all, as they often kill themselves, fall into depression or die on the streets. Is that what you want? Then youve got alot of lives that have been ruined, or if the child is kept, two lives that have been ruined. But hey if thats what you want, go ahead. After all, everybody should act the way somebody has forced upon them, causing damage for the rest of their lives. Saying people should just not do it then is also hard to say. When youve got a Partner, youre bound to do it someday, except for if youre asexual or something. Something can go wrong then. Even if there were precautions and it seemed to be safe. Put yourselves in the different situations. Were all individuals, we think differently and have different senses of whats right or wrong. You cant generalize it. You cant say keep the fetus so it has a good shot at a future if even that is uncertain. A child is a lifelong dedication, you should have it when youre ready, financially stable and able to love it. Let people make their decisions: they dont affect you, are fine with the individual's conscience and are reasoned.
I also didn’t read the whole thing but I 100% agree with the fact that they seem not to be able to put themselves in other peoples shoes… like imagine being forced to carry and birth a child u don’t want- I don’t even have words for how awful that would be

@@cryyss29 The difference between a 2 year old and an embryo is that a 2 year old can survive without the mother’s body, has thoughts, feelings, and experiences. At the stage where an abortion is legal the embryo or fetus isn’t aware of it’s own self. It has no thoughts. If the embryo or fetus is still alive then is it going to live it’s whole life in pain because of this? Is it medically viable to be able to survive outside of the womb? I know that in some cases euthanasia is allowed so it’s up to the mothers and doctors to make that decision.
I’m glad the ones you’ve seen are peaceful but not all of them are. Peaceful or not no one has the right to yell at strangers. Abusing a child isn’t really comparable to abortion. Abuse harms the person being abused and yelling at people going into planned parenthood is harmful to those people. There’s an even an argument to qualify both as abuse. I’m kind of a believer in the greater good. In the situation of abortion either the mother is going to be harmed or the fetus so it’s kind of a trolly problem situation. I went to PP when I was 14 after I was raped to get plan B b/c I didn't want to tell anyone and had no idea what else to do. Being screamed at and called a murderer after the most traumatic experience in my life was really great.
That's horrible and I'm sorry you had to go through that. These uninformed "protesters" are just unsympathetic, pathetic fear mongering buffoons who honestly had/have no business in you business. They shouldn't be screaming at anyone, especially not a child, traumatized or not. I hope you got the help you needed and Iam so so sorry you had to experience that. YOU DESERVE(D) BETTER.
I am so sorry that happened to you. Both the sexual assault and the added trauma of being verbally attacked by psychotic religious fundamentalists while seeking medical care.
Protesters like that are just evil. How can they even say such a thing to a child???
Jesus christ, I'm so sorry :(
That's just fucking awful. I'm so sorry you had to put up with it. People like them are the reason I don't believe anymore.
oh my fucking god that’s so infuriating and i’m so freaking annoyed that happened to you. They literally have no symphaty towards people who actually have a consciousness yet scream about ”saving lives”
It's our body and our choice.
having sex at TWELVE is crazy, let alone falling pregnant. really hope shes okay now
this is why sex ed and just education in general is so important. your grandma should've taught your cousins about what sex is, and EVERYONE should be educated on abortions, and the dangers a lot of people may face if they are forced to give birth.

There are few better healthcare resources so blocking access (some states only have one or two) is cruel. The U.S. needs more not less healthcare.
They think anything that has any effect on childbearing is ooh evil bad no no bc no one should ever have physical relations unless they are trying to have a baby. It's utterly ridiculous.
dont you know that women having sex willingly need to be punished? if the woman didnt want it, then most of them agree that its just a bunch of cells, no biggie. but clearly its all about the little innocent "babies" that didnt even have a consciousness, unlike what majority of them have on their plates daily. very rational people.

I've legit had a lady from church when I was a teen tell me that if she was pregnant but was diagnosed with cancer and needed to choose between the fetus and chemo, she would choose the fetus. She would rather leave her children without a mother and her husband widowed with four mouths to feed than get life saving treatment. There isn't a Planned Parenthood in my state but there is a reproductive/endocrine health center that is very similar in function. She thought my mom was getting an abortion. My mom just said "oh so you'd rather me just potentially die of breast cancer?"

as someone who has had a miscarriage, i went to a planned parenthood for an abortion because alot of hospitals wont perform the surgery or were too expensive. there were people outside with signs yelling at anyone coming in. some hospitals literally defer patients to these clinics bc they have the proper equipment for prenatal care and for strangers to be yelling at women who lost their baby is just insane to me. planned parenthoods help women who want to keep babies, who dont, and who cant.

They do not. They care equally for all life to have the right to live. Simply assuming pro life doesn't care about other life is a lie and not factual. They contribute far more to living people than pro choice ever did. Especially since pro life includes churches who do massive humanitarian projects and aid.

For example biden had recently wanted to force ER doctors to perform abortions.
However as this violates the law, it cannot be done. This did NOT however mean that they couldn't save patients who'd die from childbirth, because those aren't abortions. They still do life saving operations for those women. Abortions are NOT a medical emergency in most cases.

Let people make their decisions: they dont affect you, are fine with the individual's conscience and are reasoned.
im not spending 20 minutes of my life reading that, but based on the first section i already agree with you
I also didn’t read the whole thing but I 100% agree with the fact that they seem not to be able to put themselves in other peoples shoes… like imagine being forced to carry and birth a child u don’t want- I don’t even have words for how awful that would be

@@DeathnoteBB I mean... not the point of what you're saying but no, generally pregnant people don't need doctors to give birth. A midwife is more than sufficient in the vast majority of cases, but a lot of people give birth on their own or with family and without any medical professionals present. Absolutely not giving you shit, especially considering the context of this video, but this is something more people need to know so I tend to leave messages wherever I can. If you have the inclination and opportunity at all, I'd recommend Ina May Gaskin's Spiritual Midwifery - amazing book and provides some good information (though not complete, because that's not what the book's about) on the social change from midwives to doctors attending births, why it happened and why it's not great, by and large. Some of the stats about modern hospital births and comparisons between US, UK and various other nations policies on birth are completely mind blowing - don't check the relatively recent cesarian rates in Venezuela, it'll completely fuck up your day (no shade to the country at large, every community has issues that are better or worse and for a million reasons - honestly, if you're at all interested, check out Ina May's books, she's awesome!)
I went to planned parenthood when I thought I was pregnant with my first child. They gave me a test, explained all of my options, and when I told them I was going to keep the pregnancy they set me up with a program to get free prenatal care and WIC when the baby came. I was lost and I don't know what I would have done without them. They do so much. All around net benefit for society. ❤
I had a cousiñ who used to be a prolife protester until she found out she was pregnant ànd her husband was cheating and that he also was suspectable to a whole host of genetic disorders. And like a good family we stood by her side....

@@clouds9914 3rd trimester abortions are incredibly rate. Like 99.9% of abortions are super early on. Shutting down Planned Parenthoods will just make people do back alley abortions, and that’s probably the worst way to go, for both the mother (who will likely die or never be able to have children again when they’re actually ready for it) and the fetus. My parents went to Planned Parenthood after I was already born, because it's called PLANNED Parenthood for a reason and that means if you PLAN to keep the baby too, you need a PLAN because you're a new parent and don't know wtf to do, my parents had to go to classes to learn things because they jumped into being parents without experience, and my mom suffered post partum depression so bad she had to be admitted to a clinic for emotional and mental rehabilitation, because she couldn't even speak, she was catatonic, and that's what Planned Parenthood helps with too. People who have babies and then get messed up or don't know wtf they're doing and need help.
