i remember shogan coming out in the 80s they were the best same as toyota 80s in the nineties . what i like about you and your freinds it aint all the gear no idea its proving that anyone can do it and do it well
Its nice hearing the sound of those diesels... they are very few and far between for Overlanding vehicles here in the US.. they are not available in any of the three vehicles in your video..Cheers!
Hi Guys Like the shows. Inspiring me to do the same! When you get back on the ferry, be super hygienic and careful around others. This virus is beginning to get real.... All the best.....
Was great buddy! Yeah a little but with care and a good spotter we all got through unscathed 😁 wats linkage Survived the trip and to be done back in the uk! 🙂👍
Awesome video. Those trails are so beautiful. It seems like there's an endless supply in Portugal. What restrictions are there for vehicles? And do your fellow travellers have RUclips channels? Or have I missed that bit?
Stunning scenery that changes all over. There is many trails but obviously we are on the trails majority of the time 😉 restrictions only to not enter private and or restricted areas. They do not have RUclips channels that I am aware of but Instagram 🙂
@@JKoverland You forgot to mention that vehicles are prohibited on trails through forested areas in Portugal during the critical fire period every summer.
Hi jack, after watching your intro on several of your videos I'm interested on what tyres you have on Molly ? On side slopes they seem to have very little lateral grip at all. Are they low on tread as they do look to have quite an aggressive pattern. Not having a pop just interested as I had a similar problem with Khumo's a couple of years ago.
Hey Gary 👋 these current tires are Maxxis Bighorns they seem to do an alright job to be fair although I have preferred other brands in the past. Most places where its steep and or slippery enough to slide to the side the other trucks with us have seemed to suffer a similar fate 🤣 probably at about half tread now. Really want to go to a 33!
Hey this was quite the adventure! I've been a couple of times to Gerês but i don't seem to recognize this trail. You think you can share the GPS Track. Or maybe i can get in touch with Alexander. Thanks in advance!
It is a beautiful part of Portugal we definitely want to go back 🙂 I don't have the GPS sorry as we were Just following Alexander these days. He may be able to help 👍
@@JKoverland I usually return to the northern part of Portugal every year and it never disappoints! Great to have you guys around to enjoy our beautiful country. It would be great to get in contact with Alexander. I was hoping you could arrange that. Thanks in advance!
Cracking watch again guys what makes this so good with out sounding cheeky is you use 4x4 that everyone can afford not 20 grand pick ups 👍
Thanks man 🙂👊 we also love the old stuff really 😉
The lakes and waterfalls in that region are gorgeous
Gerês is one of our best kept national parks

Oh yeah, 80's 90's 4x4 was at it's best 🙈 if only they still made them like that. Start simple it's the best way 😁
Molly's a champ! I thought only Americans struggled with how to pronounce worchestridhirherse... sauce.

Why didn't you just turn the bolt around the other way?
Because it was going to hit on the other side it was our first thought..
