Hi from Australia, I'm really enjoying the videos, great to see different landscapes, awesome group of people and vehicles, I've got a gen 1 pajero as well, mines jealous because I just love Molly lol
Great fun watching this one , with all of you and the difference in rigs that went along with you . Looking forward to going there some day . Thanks for sharing this awesome video . From Steve stott in sutherlin Oregon u.s.a.
Nice trip ! I like watching your adventures with the Pajero. I drive a 1990 Pajero, first owner, same model but short wheelbase. Great reliable cars ! I suggest to turn the top of your snorkel 180 degrees. My airfilter was full of flies and other debris, and since I turned the opening backwarts, all is fine. 4x4 greetings from Netherlands, John.
Thank you 🙂 nice! 1990 so same model as ours only it is an 1987. You have had it since new? 😮 thank you for snorkel advice we also would like to get a dust topper for it it. Many thanks and happy adventures!
@@JKoverland Hidihi, yes I have bought the Pajero 2500 turbo intercooler as a new car in1990. I do not drive a lot, so the car has now 102.000 km on the clock. A month ago I had the first serious problem, and had to be towed to a garage :-( The hearth of the clutchplate was broken out ! Very rare problem, I think (I hope once in a lifetime). You can read review and pictures of my Pajero here : www.autoweek.nl/reviews/mitsubishi/pajero/ The upper two cars are in my possession, the second one is a Pajero 2nd generation 3500 V6 of 1999, also bought new. It is in dutch language, but maybe you can use google-translate ;-) Both have snorkels. The 1990 Pajero has a Safari snorkel, I had also a plan for a dust topper, but since I turned the inlet opening backwarts, I have found almost no dirt in the airfilter box, so no need for a dusk-topper. The 1990 model has a cyclone airfilter, which catches bigger particles in a chamber that you can clean seperatly, since the snorkel is fitted there is almost no dust dirt and dead flies in it. The 1999 model has an Airtech snorkel, of which the top only can face in forward direction. I found quite a mess of dead flies and other insects in the filter box. Because I could not turn the top of the snorkel backwarts, I had to find an other solution. Which is ....... a piece of pantyhose over the inlet opening, works great ! So you can ask you girlfriend for a pantyhose :-) Is cheap , and works fine. If you have plans for a dusty trip in the Sahara, better buy a dusk-topper...... Have fun with your Pajero, and take good care of it ! Cheers, John
Wow John that is quite the collection and to me sounds like some of the best models from over the years 👍 I have found now that we have a snorkel the dist is much much improved over last year with none when it was very very bad indeed! I will turn the snorkel head when we do drive in dusty conditions for sure 👍 a few flies and things I do not mind and clean regularly with the air line 🙂
JKoverland cheers matey...some rest and helping out with a few odd jobs for a friend and Jill's mummy 👍👍 Oh and watching some good rugby on the tele too....England v Wales and Scotland v France 🏉
I love the narrow, cobbled lanes of the valley villages!

So pleased to hear that! 🙂 hahaha oh no you didn't tell? 😁
So nice to see some Overland-Offroad action. Most Overlanders lack the Offroad part :)
Good to hear 🙂
Overlanding doesn’t need to involve off-roading. (Depending on your definition of off roading of course)
Great video guys, keep them coming. Lovely part of Portugal.
Will do don't you worry 😉 thanks bud 👊
