Yes! Several months ago, I bought the Tab Ultra because of the keyboard case. When the Tab Ultra C came out, I replaced the Tab Ultra with the C (including keyboard case) and then recently bought an extra keyboard case, just in case my keyboard case ever spoilt (say 5 years later) and Boox stops selling the keyboard case anymore. I bring my Tab Ultra C with the keyboard case whenever I attend a conference/ event/ lecture/ seminar. In these situations, a laptop would be too bulky and I have no need for the suite of "full productivity" tools. I also do work emails on the TUC and keyboard case on the go e.g. on trains or plane. A laptop is too big for the tray tables on trains and planes... hence the laptop can stay fully charged in my bag while I work on my TUC (with keyboard case). My experience with the Tab Ultra & C with the keyboard case has been nothing but awesome. It's really not that expensive or heavy compared to Apple's keyboard cover or the Remarkable's Type Folio. If you bring a laptop (with keyboard), the total weight is about the same, except its bulkier cos the laptop screen is usually min. 13". Yes I love my TUC and keyboard case. If not for the Tab Ultra + Keyboard case form factor, meaning eink tablet simply for reading and note-taking, I would have gone for other cheaper/ smaller models such as Tab Mini C or NA2+. ** typed this comment on my Tab Ultra C + keyboard case** 😊
I returned my TUC mainly over the keyboard experience. I was constantly losing the connection. When I re-connected, it would not remember the settings. Also, what is the story with auto-capitalization? It does not do that. I have never had any issues like that with my iPad Pro and its keyboard.
I bought the keyboard from Amazon at the same time as I bought my tab ultra ( I had already returned the C as the grey screen bothered me and I could not connect to the university Wi-Fi or sign into the university email on outlook). What I didn’t realise was Amazon’s return policy was different for the keyboard. It was not returnable. I’ve since returned the tab ultra (I really liked it but felt that a 300 ppi version must be coming soon, hopefully without the camera). I’ve also seen the Supernote since then that looks really good. Too much choice and too little disposable money! Having said that, I thought the keyboard was pretty good. Nice and light.
Excellent considerations, what you made makes a lot of sense. Thank you for this video! 💪

I'm glad you said that. I had no idea regarding Amazon's policy with returning the keyboard.
It isn't essential: Get a decent bluetooth keyboard and call it a day.
The pogo pin one that's included has a dodgy connection.
A lot of people have been using Bluetooth keyboards with the 3C and it seems to be working well.
