    At what stage of the game would this theory hold or cease to hold? Can it work at a later stage of the game if the player didn't adopt it in the beginning? What are the exceptions or limitations to the rule? Thank you.

      Thank you for your question, Syrup 111. The square diagram technique is extremely effective and can be utilized throughout the entire game without any limitations. It can also be used to secure a good position for the kings. In some of my videos, I have demonstrated how to apply the square diagram from the beginning to the end of a game.     I understand more the square diagram but not the line diagram, looking forward to more tuts on line diagram, then using both to illustrate grand masters games.
    if possible explain why each moves are made and reasons behind them.

    Please clarify...... Opponent moves 7-12. Moving 40-35 is a move that goes away from the vertice of the square. The squares surrounding 34 are 19, 30, 39, and 40. By moving 40-35, what does this mean? I believe it means that I am now guarding square 30 and 40 which are strategic squares for 34.
    also, I applied the line diagram, 12 is forms a triangle with 13&28, 13 with 14&29, and 29 with 25&35. It appears that 35 is a strategic position for 12, and this is why you move 40-35

      The purpose of the the square diagram is to secure good position on the draughts board. I have several lessons on the square diagram. Please, watch my videos on detail games analysis using square diagram and others. That will make things better
