So good!! These dudes everything PHIL TOUGAS touches brings the gold !!
The name of the first song is "In introduction to phantasmagoria" with the letters scrambled.
I can't figure out if Amechth'ntaas'm'rriachth has a hidden meaning too...
@@carrottop1107 One solution for this correctly ordering letters, one word in center of title is 'ntaas' = 'satan' rest You must find on Your own ^^
Been digging Demilich for more than 20 years, yesterday I found Timeghoul and today Chthe'ilist - fantastic!
I just heard Timeghoul today for the first time...3 years later
High time. I was 20 years late.
For us which heard it recently it was exactly on time.
Now you get the pleasure of discovery.
Much has happened in this time! Check out Blood Incantation.
I just got the demo tape in the mail today. Awesome fucking demo.
yes it is
I really enjoyed the full length but this is so much better sounding. Vocals are higher in the mix, guitars have more body, the whole thing is just more “alive.”
Great musicianship.
Predatory vocals, truly amazing !!!!!!
DEMILICH INCARNATE!!!!!!
All I can say is, DAAAAAAAMN!!!
This is very good
truly from the depths
This is so wonderful. These guys ought to be proud.
this will ever be one of the best EPs
Killer 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Cool riffs !
OH YEAH
Holy shit, this RIPS.
The name of the band is "It's the lich".
Alternatively, "he lich tits"
sayginkol chhh " the ill'ist"
Good catch, I'm assuming that's a nod to Demilich as it the scramble is similar to Erecshyrinol
Wow, amazing.
The influence is undeniable, certainly, but Phil cites a wide variety of other Finnish bands as well as Timeghoul as influences, with the latter being more apparent in some of the more consonant, slow sections. Demilich "inspired" would be a better term, as that implies this band merely seeks to copy the aesthetic of Demilich and go no further, but this project has its own voice nonetheless, I think.
Yes, I like this. This is good.
BADASS
GREAT!!!
anybody else think about the movie Predator sometimes when they listen to the vocals?
Mother of Finland...
hard
0:15 ok this is aight, atmospheric intro, cool. 1:22 OH SHIT YEAH SLAUGHTER THE INNOCENT
the vocals at 12:35
It seems pretty obvious from the text that this is Lovecraft / Cthulhu inspired.
I hear more Timeghoul than Demilich tbh, especially in the vocal rhythm/flow.
3 people are simply not ready.
I like these guys because they know exactly what they are doing.
And yes, sounds similar to demilich, but it's not the fucking same, for christ's sake!
The sound is only imitation and taking influence from Demilich. Try out Biolich, I bet you got the point they are almost copying. Its not a bad thing they actually did a us tour with demilich back in 2006.
I think 2:04 might be my favorite part lol 🔔
12:50 srsly that solo is way too sexy
i don´t know but they have the link in the description
dur
I forgot the name of this band, and I had to search google for an hour. lol
Been there
So strange to hear it after being introduced to the band by their 2016 record.
The Demilich influence feels a lot more obvious with this guitar tone
I thought, 'Eh, I'll check this out.' Twenty-one minutes and eleven seconds later, I'm sitting here wondering why the fuck I was so impressed by a band that, by all appearances, names their compositions in total gibberish. In all seriousness, this rules! Now where can I get a copy of this?!
Check out Slugathor the smoke.
it's pronounce amekthantaasmriakthn and probably it also has a hidden meaning
This band really really likes impossible to pronounce names, don't they.
+Timothy E. at least you can say their bands name :D
yeah it's an invented language from HP Lovecraft's mythos
@@itssogoodithurtsinspired by, but not from.
I asked once. It’s like “keet-ilist”
DEVASTATING!!!!!ACK!!ACK!!!ACK.......
it´s the language of mordor... maybe not, just guessing xD
Hmmmm....I think I'll sing along. *clears his throat over and over* *grin* Just kidding. They're pretty damn good.
.
what the fucking fuck language is this lol. this has to be the most complicated song title ive ever tried to pronounce lol
we cannot pronounce this shit in our human tongue
how the fuck does the band's name pronounce?
