What an intro, so worth listening to compared to 99% of the intros on other releases which just serve as fillers.
I agree, an instrumental that serves as a passage for what it is to come. Nowadays you hear the same "goat/pig/fire/demon voices" as a sample in every intro for an underground death/black metal record.
That's an album and a cover art that deserves a tattoo.

They gig all over LA, at least up until a few years ago assuming that hasn't changed. Always a great show, heavily devoted fan base for sure

We opened for this band at the Waters Club in San Pedro ,California in Sep1990,, It's amazing to me they are still touring and playing festivals all over the world ,,, i will always Support Sadistic Intent !!!
Came out in 94 at that time everybody playing death metal wanted the morrisound sound, not these guys and that was a great decision cause this record is perfect the way it is.

Music like this has been gone from my life for a long time. It's long gone. The new bands now only have computers, guitar sounds more....drum programs.
Metal record labels are STUPID for Not signing this band! Sadistic Intent is Godly and they deserve some more support!! These guys should be featured at festivals like Bloodstock, Wacken, Hellfest next to other big Death/Black/Thrash Metal bands! Either way, I will always look up to this band, long live the legendary SADISTIC INTENT!!!!!
This stuff whoops so much ass. Too bad it's a pain the dick to find a legit physical copy, that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Streaming be damned! I wanna' have something I can hold and appreciate.

I took a quick look at their discography and every release of theirs has been signed by various record labels since 1990. On their two demos from 88 and 89 were unsigned which makes sense.

I was 10 in 1994 when this came out .. I was always a huge slayer fan and grew up in an age where we traded tapes / CDs .. in highschool a friend of mine had gotten the slayer tribute “gateway to hell” and loathed it .. I traded him some lame album for it and fell in love ! I spent all my years after that searching for full albums of those bands .. I lucked out one day when I friend of mine had this in his collection and was more than happy to get rid of it ! I played it so many times for years and years after that .. wish I would have taken better care of it , but hey ! Sadistic intent was the soundtrack to my teenage years !! I wouldn’t have it any other way ..

Rick and Bay, the band members and founders, have a record store called Dark Realm Records in Downey, CA. They are great guys and have awesome stories. I spent like 2 hours in there just chatting about metal and stories. The place is incredible and is the best metal record shop for rare finds, patches, CDs, and imported T-shirts. Absolute MUST visit if you’re in the Los Angeles area! 🤘

If I'm not mistaken a couple of these guys went to Nightengale and Franklin schools in the Highland Park area of LA. I was a lil scrub getting into the death metal scene. There was always gigs going around that area of Highland Park, Cypress Park, Glassel Park and so on. I went to school and met a few of those guys. Damn I'm getting fucking old bro's!

+H C I know Bay and Rick, the founders of Sadistic went to Bell High. I went to school with. One of the members went to South Gate. Forgot which one. Been about 30 yrs, lol. The rest of the band, no clue. You are right thou, they were previously in Warmonger.
The father of my close friend is in this band and he sent it 2 me so i can hear it AND OHEMGEEEE THE ENERGY he might have got me into this type of music!!
