When the table saw was too low I would have just put spacers/shims under it instead of recutting parts. Great build though 👍

Good build,your safety though leaves alot to be desired, you could lose a hand or much worse your knob

Great build, and instructions are very useful.
Just small word of caution. Crossing hands on the miter saw might end not well in many situations.
I hear you, it’s not the safest approach. I’ll be addressing this issue in another set up so I can feed the work piece from the left and not right 🙂

Great build and I'm planning on making one, but slightly shorter in length. I am however trying to think of a way of adding a small extension onto the end where the the power switch is..Reason being, when I'm using a large heavy home made sled, there is no support for it at that end of the saw table. Just a 6 inch extension would suffice, but that would make it harder to hit the off button if there was ever an emergency..When I do get round to making one of these tables, I'm going to somehow re-position the power switch, so its easier to get to

Can I ask why you quickly got rid of the Titan saw? I'm thinking of investing in it
Hi Mark. I had the saw 4 years and there was a few things which started to grate on me... I found the motor on it so loud I started to feel embarrassed to switch it on. I also ‘modified’ the riving knife (really advise you not to do it) so I could do non through cuts but this warped the steel and pieces would get stuck going through the blade so it became dangerous. Also I couldn’t use the over blade dust port anymore. The fence wasn’t accurate enough and the handle snapped on it. I wasn’t a fan of the pressed aluminium surface as well because table wasn’t completely flat.
Would this be your first saw?

I bought it online but don’t know where from. I remember it being around £85 though as it was one of the cheapest options available for the K4

Hi Ben. If it’s your first saw and it’s still available to buy then yeah go for it. It’s really not the best saw, but I had mine for 4 years and it got some abuse. I knew after 2 I wanted to upgrade but it was great to learn the ropes with. That being said, if you can afford something pricier, I’d probably go that route because a step up might be more accurate. Just watch out for the same saw rebranded 👍🏻

Alri bro.. I have a question?? My saw I bought a month ago and it doesn't have those bars that are connected to the extra parts/wings for the top.. Those bars that support the side panels/wings were not in my table saw box.. I think I was sold a dud that some asshole stole parts from my machine.. These screwfix lot will sell returned saws to the next guy thru the door.. That's not right imho but they get away with it til now..
It might be worth while contacting screwfix to see if they can send you some out bud. It is proper frustrating when you buy an item and it comes with parts missing

It's all over the place to be fair. These table tops are the worst I've ever seen on anything.I think I'm going to have to build a cross sled jig of some kind but I'm not sure what difference it will make..
Could u tell me if it is possible to take the top off and straighten it out that way with some washers or something? I might look into that as well bro but thanks for ur reply anyways. Appreciate it man
@@reaper060670 I remember mine wasn’t flat either. I ended up removing the rear wing and sitting the saw up against an out feed table instead.
I also made a zero clearance insert and a mitre sled because the mitre gauge which comes with the saw was pretty useless.
I remember watching Szilard Pinter on RUclips when I got the saw as he had a lot of Titan tools and go the zero clearance idea from him
