The Ferrox trick still works: throw Ferrox at enemy, eat enemy, roll around spreading rad cold (or whatever) and pulling enemies around (slowly). Has to be refreshed constantly, but pretty amusing anyway.
Is there a way to influence the time? What makes the elemental spread? Is it just the effects of throwing the Ferrox?
I use Chroma's aura to do cold electric toxin or heat....they each grant some other minor percs and it's basically 4 builds on one slot.
@@kilmcm45 There's no way to extend the timer. (Unless there's a bug I haven't heard of.) Best you can do is get the most out of the timer possible with fast cast, eating a speared enemy that will survive in his gut, etc. And modding the ferrox properly for the pulse effect. So, lots of fire rate as it affects how quick the throw is and the frequency of the pulse, and whatever damage, elemental, faction you want. Multi, status, crit, and firestorm do nothing for it.

@@kilmcm45I just realized i didn't answer your second question. When thrown the Ferrox does some initial damage and then emits a pulse periodically for 30 seconds that does innate electric damage before modding and pulls targets toward it...even if it's stuck to a target in Grendel's belly. See the other reply for details on what works on it.
@@kilmcm45Hunter Munitions? Despite what the Arsenal says, I don't think the pulse can actually crit, even with Avenger.
I actually put firewalker on Gauss, its not bad for CC and armor strip but the thought of running so fast that he leaves a fire trail is just so cool.

Please make many more videos like this! Or even a compilation of lots of these builds at a time. The only Warframe videos are about the highest DPS and the best possible builds, I just want to see people goofing around sometimes

I like how the commenter was like "I don't know if it's practical." I mean, depends on your definition of practical? I'm so happy this even works at all. Pulverize (aka meatball mode) could very well shut off other abilities, but...apparently it doesn't. That's pretty great.

turned my Tenet Diplos into a max firerate one. It shouldn't, but it works better than my normal build and is WAY more fun
Not MY meme build, but a friend's. All through the years, he's always heavily invested into his starter MK-1 Braton, and gets a kick out of bringing it to endgame stuff (sorties, then eidolons, PTs, SP.) He was unreasonably excited when they added the incarnon. Now, we'll both equip a bunch of MK-1 gear and unfashioned starter frames and do SP pubs just to confuse people as we carry the squad.
Now imagine the chaos when you get a squad doing this

Max hp inaros with elemental ward for his 3rd to give even more hp. Since arcane grace scales off max hp, it gives absurd regen.

I'd probably swap what's being Helminthed to his first slot after the rework. Seems his 2 will do an amazing job of opening for finishers in of itself.
Also if you're feeling silly, you can summon a Wisp specter for even more solo HP.

Love post rework Grendel. Especially after DE somewhat fixed line of sight so stairs and railings weren't constantly in the way.
I like to give him a 2h Nikana and heavy spam so he's constantly spinning, so when I cast Regurgitate it almost makes sense that he'd need to hurl.
I love it. I need to try this. Games are about fun, and this certainly looks fun!
I do have something I enjoy running: my Reave Garuda. hecc off with Breach Surge, swapping Blood Altar for Revenants Reave with the Blinding Reave augment keeps her on-theme to being a vampire, and also can level cap damage, but scales with lower tier content as well, it's great.
As awesome as the spicy meatball build is, my favorite ability to put on Grendel is Aqua Blades.
A.K.A. The Slicey Meatball
As for other non-meta builds I can't think of any off the bat, but a buddy of mine turned Caliban into a lifted enemy/heavy attack build combo with Wrath of Sentients and Sibear Incarnon. Definitely not meta, but it works and it's a lot of fun.
Edit: About to try Breach Surge on Qorvex, hoping for some dumb numbers and interactions 😂

Favorite meme build. That's a tough one.... I don't really have any meme frame builds... except for infinite energy/overguard/spears styanax, and I haven't played in so long I need to see if it was nerfed.
But I do have a fun little Supra Vandal build that has such a hige fire rate and multishot that it tanks framerates, and I love it.

My recent "anti-meta" build is Limbo with Aqua Blade subsumed over his 3rd, with a hound companion. Max ability strength and duration.
Simply pop into the rift, activate Aqua Blade (which can hit enemies even when in rift, so can the hound but it's a bit inconsistent) and run around slashing.
Only thing that you need to be cautious about is Arson Eximus units.
But I've used it on Steel Path and, although it's a bit slow, it still works.
My favorite off-meta build is for Zephyr. Building for max range and some efficiency, I use her Target Fixation augment to scale up infinite damage in a matter of minutes. She doesn't need very much, and I don't even build for any damage. I put on as much range as possible, and then fill the rest with duration. Cast Tornadoes, throw Airburst while in the air for half-cost, and then use Tailwind every few seconds to nuke any enemy that dared exist in my presence.
And the best thing is: this is just my normal Zephyr build. Adding in that augment doesn't require me to do anything different. It's just an additional tool that I can decide to use during a mission if I want to do silly things.

Idk what you think of this, but I have my Trinity built with Ember’s Fire Blast in place of her 1st. I do that to armor strip and to knock the enemies on the ground. It’s simply funny watching the chaos unfold

Subsume the niduses tentacles over regurgitate and voilá, you are an entire dish of sphagetti with meatballs. Proves to be very nourishing! :D

The most obvious idea to go along with this: Mathematically correct Gauss with Infested Speed. TL;DR: Full speed mods (Sprint Boost, Rush, AAgility, Amar's Anguish, Coaction Drift) with a bit of Power Strength (Blind Rage, Umbral Intensify, Transient) and QoL (Narrow Minded + Primed Flow) for an average sprint speed around 6.8 (~5.5 Loki Primes).
Slap on (almost) every sprint speed mod for a good basis. You can get Sprint Boost, Rush, Armored Agility and Amar's Anguish for starters. Running the math, Coaction Drift is actually stronger than Speed Drift (32% bonus vs 27%), so we'll use that instead. That already brings us up to a sprint speed multiplier of 2.88. If we throw in Praedos (2nd evo +20%) and Galvanized Serration, that brings us up to 3.52 sprint speed. If we were to use Speed Drift (which we don't), we'd have a 3.71, which is actually bugged and doesn't get shown in the arsenal.
For the helminth ability, we OBVIOUSLY take infested mobility for that juicy 1.6x multiplier. The kicker here is that it scales with Power Strength. So we slap on Umbral Intensify, Blind rage and Transient fortitude for that juicy 298%. That takes the Helminth Boost to a 2.79 multiplier.
For the last two mods, I went with QoL in Narrow Minded and Flow. Mathematically correct would be to add more power strength though. Theoretically you could get up to 372% that way. If you replace Gauss' 4th ability for Helminth and add a few Energy Capacity shards, (as well as using Energize), the build overall shouldn't suffer too much. Just keep in mind that the duration is way negative, meaning you have to recast Infested Mobility a lot (which is why I went with Narrow Minded). For Archon Shards, definitely Energy Shards (3x Tauforged should be enough) > Power.
The final 372% brings our Infested Speed up to a 3.23 multiplier on a full strength build (with slight QoL).
If you add up all the things together, the "budget" version has an active sprint speed of 6.82 for the 14s of Infested Mobility being active, while the full ham version gets a 8.28 sprint speed for ~6s.
Is this the fastest possible set-up for a Warframe? Nope, a Volt with Infested Mobility can easily go faster, and Titania and Nova shouldn't even be mentioned. You CAN however keep up with a Wukong in Cloud Mode, which is imo the best indicator of having achieved SPEED.
Sidenote, the same build applied to Volt Prime gives a top speed of ~15.95 (almost two and a half times as high).

I have a build with Inaros, the innodem, sand clone augment, and Nyx's mind control. Build the innodem for finishers and put on the evolution that blinds when you finish a enemy. Whole lota blinding and clones running around.
This video makes me want to go revive my volt shield bash build. My current fun mode build is Frost bubble, where you kill enemies with the snow globe damage when knocked into walls, really funny and surprisingly it does a lot of damage.
I'm always surprised when I roll Frost on SP Circuit and end up getting a bunch of kills from the Snowglobe knockback.
I don't use as much range ....but the fire proc is an effective slow effect. Use archon vitality to double proc all your fire procs.....he can use the archon duration mod too that gives toxin a second hit as corrosive.
I put fire walker on wisp 4. 2 guaranteed status just as you move is insane. Add a nukor and sentinel you can pretty much max the galvanised and co dmg.

Oberon is great with Fire Walker. Helps the team out with status removal, and you can strip armour with him
There is a shooting meatball build: equip yareli aquablades on 4, equip augment on grendel, cast that yareli ability, go to meatball, then reactivate yarelis ability, NOW YOU CAN SHOOT YOUR WEAPON DURING HIS 3!, equip the middle mouse button agment for incarnon weapons

My go to off meta build is Mage Gauss:
1. Subsume Tempest Barrage over Mach Rush
2. Build for range and max efficiency (you're going to need it)
3. Use Viral Tempest and Archon Vitality for extra viral and heat procs
4. Preferred Archon Shards: 2x Casting Speed, 2x Energy Max, 1x +Corrosive Stacks
5. Recommended Arcanes: Energise + Augmented
Playstyle:
Maintain max Redline + Kinetic Plating for cast speed and energy generation
Spam Tempest Barrage and Cold Thermal Sunder under redline
Spam Heat Thermal Sunder at 100% Redline
Can use Synoid weapons like Gammacor for additional energy generation and capacity
Zenurik energy generation helps with energy economy
Not a very good build, it's really more utility than damage with room wide stagger and stacking Corrosive+Viral+Cold/Heat procs but if you use some kind of red/orange energy colour you can make it looks like a crazy hellscape raining fire and brimstone. I do use a macro to help me spam my 1 button faster as fast as possible for more Tempest Barrage instances

I am a fan of the classic grendel with yarellis blades spinning around him, I like to pretend I'm a beyblade just mowing down everything around me.

My silly playstyle used to be vauban balls before the vauban rework, I'd stick like 20 balls on my teammates turning them into sentient death zones
(was really fun to carry low lvl players with)
My Grendel build was pretty similar, but with Tesla Bank instead. That way, no matter who actually killed an enemy, I’d automatically kill all nearby enemies from Pulverize’s armor strip + Tesla capturing the whole healthbar. Plus it basically meant just 5 balls rolling around causing a ruckus.
I don't have anything this silly (not since they removed self-damage AoE, anyways), but I will say that it's one of the things that I love about Warframe and how it's mods system works, that whether it's weapons or frames, you can make damn near anything "work." Maybe not all that well, but enough that it's not an active hinderance to your enjoyment of the game.
Kullervo with eclips in the 3 ability slot over 300 power and 5 arcon shard for more critical dm . with a Zaw doing on its own around 30k dm/ the other is Yareli with savage silence in the 1 st abilty slot
I replaced Gauss's Thermal Sunder with Firewalker. Its so satisfying to sprint places and leave trails of fire
I mean 100% armor strip and can't die? Sounds like a good support build for adding you squad so they can focus on sheer force rather then juggling armor strip.
If I recall correctly, Revenant can cast whatever ability you put in his 3rd slot whilst still channeling his ultimate... There are many possible stupid builds there. Also some good ones.

As one of 3 Grendel mains in the universe, I approve the spicy meatball.
But as a suggestion, my Bipolar Valkier build, utilizing Rage or Hunters adrenaline and a ton of strength mods and little to no range to continuously gain energy and popping 4 right before I die to beat the sh*t out of people and heal just like that.
One of my go-to builds is Inaros Prime with EVERY health mod I can fit on him. His health is over 11k, and combined with Arcanes Grace and Guardian he just doesn't die. And there are still other arcanes and stuff I want to try that I haven't gotten yet, so I can potentially give him even more health, because I find it hilarious.
For fun I put aquablades on grendel. Focused duration and strength. Basically a blender that can roll around and chase enemies 😂

most fun i have is max fire rate on weapons with harrow built for maxed buff that still has easy ti keep up time and bring that to fissures simple yet classic setup.... even managed to crash my friend who was hosting a few times with the amount of status procs i made with the kohm
I love Grendel, and i love using pulverize for mobility, its is extremely agile when you get the hang of it.
But there is a bug that has been around ever since his rework, where if you u use any of his abilities while in pulverize you will lose horizontal momentum after landing from a jump that would cause a shockwave.
If you ever cast another ability inside pulverize the bug will percist until you uncast the meatball, so i mostly use pulverize when i got rollout and not on the middle of combat.
Grendel is a hidden Gem, super fun to play and his "serious" loadout is extremely strong because of %health toxin damage.
gets even more absurd with toxin %damage on emerald archon shards

There where two possiblities, the +10% ability damage on corrosive (Archon Continuity would proc corrosive along side his ultimate) and the +30% toxin damage
If the 10% worked like a faction mod it would do more damage then the 30% after 3+ shards
Turns out they dont work at all, it doesnt even apply 10% nor does it multiply itself as a faction mod
So the only option is the +30% toxin, now i have 5x Tauforged of those equiped and it does slap hard
@@allomere940 they are both multiplicative to strength , and faction mods they just both don’t double dip , the ability ones can be buggy on some stuff like it refuses to outright affect Miasma as an example
Back before the hydroid's rework, i had a really stupid idea. I put aquablades on him and went like 300+% duration. Being a beyblade puddle moving at roughly 70m/s isn't really practical, but god damn was it fun
I rly love to use frost with max range, some duration, new precision intensify mod for armor strip, icy avalanche, biting frost and melee modded for magnetic status with "melee vortex" arcane
I also added nourish for some energy regen and viral status
as for melee I usually use incarnon furax wraith bc of 0.9 follow through
Kuva Kohm: max fire rate, max multishot, boosted crit chance, shotgun vendetta arcane
Gauss: power strength/duration build, replace any skill (except 4) with energized munitions
add arcane tempo as the cherry on top

Immortal, spicy, meat-ball, GG 😆 I have a tanked out, Fire Blast Saryn build that's pretty fun, I wouldn't say it's silly though, a lot more practical then this one.
Back before the Miter and Gas nerfs (yes they nerfed the Miter, i can cite my sources)
I had a miter built solely for status, cold, and gas. Ghoul Build.
Its not... good.
But it is extremely fun, even now. The addition of Incarnon Miter makes it even closer to being okay XD

i have a nonsense build i call knockdown nezha. you run gloom, reaping chakram augment, and arcane eruption. you then build a bit of range for gloom and then mostly power strength/duration. the idea is that with reaping chakram you always have energy orbs on the ground, so that you trigger arcane eruption, which knocks enemies down, and then gloom makes them take 3-5 business days to get up. is it good? it's about as good as as an average nezha build. but it is funny to perpetually knock down the room.
This build uses a lot of synergies.
Zephyr and Pyrana Prime build:
Use Airburst Rounds instead of Hornet Strike (more mod space on the Pyrana at low cost).
Have good range and duration on Zephyr.
Use a max Arcane Pistoleer with a Scourge altfire for easy unlimited ammo.
Get a lot of fire rate from things like Arcane Velocity, Amalgam Furax Body Count, Lethal Torrent and the Pyrana's unique trait.
You need to have Secondary Deadhead and Steady Hands on the Pyrana Prime!!... otherwise you will be looking at the ceiling 😆
You can use Primary Exhilarate on the Scourge for energy.... it does work on the altfire but in a weird way.... the initial throw doesn't trigger, it but I believe enemies trigger it when they shoot.
Diriga and Scourge can be modded as a status primers for more damage with Galvanized Shot.
Hm, nice. I did the Yareli spinning blade ball and it's works pretty well but I do like the idea of a giant rolling fire ball. Throw the fire ephemra on for more flames.

My recent weird build is me just throwing stuff at the wall seeing what would stick. Here's what I got:
In celebration of the upcoming Inaros rework, I was playing around with him before he changes. And I simply stuffed Tauforged blue archon shards into him to give him like 30 HP/s, with Arcane Grace and Healing Return on a status-built Silva & Aegis (Weeping Wounds and C.O. but mostly because I like the aesthetic). Subsumed a Toxin Elemental Ward into him and put Archon Continuity on top of it. For extra status procs.
Also, Silva & Aegis is Heat-Magnetic. Why Magnetic? Because I put Melee Vortex on it so I don't have to have that high of ability range. I didn't really think it through, honestly. I really just put whatever I felt like putting on Inaros.
Edit: You actually don't even need to put the magnetic on your melee. Just put it on your primer. And they'll be vacuuming enemies like crazy. You don't have to follow this build. Just some ideas. Do with them what you will.

Try out Slow zone Equinox with 3rd ability augumented and Sevagoth Hemlith for double of slowness. With sufficeient range You can slow full room to stop~

Oh, speaking of which, do people know that Wrathful Advance doesn't break Ivara's Prowl? Between Wrathful Advance, the Infiltrate Augment, and the first part of Heeding Call on the Nikana Blind Justice stance you can pretty much motor through spy maps at a good clip and never have to break Prowl by running or bullet jumping. Beats walking, at any rate.
you can also just slot parkour shards and ultra roll speed and distance as a result , melee ivara can get intrestign due to absurd costs of meleeing inside prowl , minor issue though

This comment is probably too late to be seen by anyone, but my go-to build is Oberon with tiny range and insane power strength with high duration so I have a ton of armor and healing. I just throw on Xata's Whisper or another weapon buffing helminth ability and turn Oberon into an unkillable weapons platform. It works well even through Netracell runs.
Just with the thumbnail I understood that it was a fire ball using Grandel and fire walk 😂😂😂 don't have him yet but I will try it 😆
my fav weird build is range nova with anti matter absorb, a no bullet zone, be it a bit weird to use
I personally just slap Protea's Dispensary on most of my frames along with Equilibrium to have infinite energy in spite of the channelled ability mechanics
I see my build is catching on lol.
What I like to do is build early game weapons with endgame mods and arcanes, and skin my prime frames/sentenels like regular ones. I join the game appearing to be a fresh mr2 noob, and then do most of the team's damage. Occasionally, I call down my archgun at evac just to confuse my teammates who didn't notice I'm mr32. 😂
I just recently put an incarnon adapter on my original Bronco for this purpose. No regerts
DE: When can I put regular non-prime weapon skins on prime weapons?
Unkillable Loki, trade, switch teleport for Condem from Harrow. Add in irradiating disarm, adaptation, and rolling guard. Build for max range and bring the Ratka Dagger.
Not super effective but, nearly unkillable. Steel path 60 min survival tested and passed
I love running kubrows with a kuva kohm + status chance riven.. 250+% status chance kubrows are funny if you can just crowd control em.. .. Done with most frames is doable, but im waiting on Styanax new aug to simply press 1 & watch the kills flow in..
got rid of my vanilla excalibur's exalted blade for Kullervo's Wrathful Advance, stuffed melee damage and crit damages on my melee, silly crit slash dash time.
Putting aside the fact that i have 2 travel button on excal now and i inverted kullervo's tap/hold so tapping Wrathful Advance just insta tp.
Can you use archon vitality + pyroclastic flow on this? I feel like that would boost it considerably.
