    Man… this conversation just makes me appreciate this time we have left, with this core together. I wish it would never end, but I know that day will come… for now, man… I know 20 years from now I will smile while sitting on a bar stool at a random sports bar watching the Warriors, and some youngster is going to sit next to me and talk about the current players… and I’ll have the biggest smile on my face, knowing I’m about to tell tales of legends.

    Growing up in Chicago thru the 90’s was peak for me as a fan. It was like what I imagine it was like going to see the Beatles. Then Kerr started coaching the dubs and I found a new home. Knowing Kerr was taught the triangle by the zen master, I knew it was going to be an interesting situation. What I didn’t anticipate was these 3 fellas becoming what they are. Watching their rise to legendary status has been a privilege and an honor. Never doubt Kerr. He’s crafty.

    This is for the Kerr haters - the ones who are quick to say anyone can coach this team... quick to give Mark Jackson credit for all of Kerr's success. You hear Klay say that they always gave Mark credit, but Steve made some tweaks to the offense. Last but not least Kerr unlocked Draymond as the point PF/C. The Warriors dynasty was one of the most prolific passing teams in the history of the game, and Kerr doesn't get enough credit for that.

      GS was last in assists under Mark Jackson. Mark Jackson is old school from the days of him playing pick and roll with Patrick Ewing, and he had Curry playing pick and roll with David Lee. Fact is GS under MJ would have never won a chip and Green would have never gotten the money and accolades he got. Green is an undersized PF who can’t score, Jackson would never utilize him the way Kerr did.

    Ball movement is integral in keeping every guy engaged within the offense irrespective of who is actually taking the bulk of the shots. It was evident against a Bron's Cavs, whom his system relegated capable playmakers to catch and shoot players who had to solely rely upon playing within the rhythm of Bron's movement penetrating from the perimeter. It was effective against lesser competition but against high IQ basketball teams he would inevitable hit the wall.

    Dray so clearly wanting approval from Klay & Steph. Ironic because he cost them at least two championships ('16 and '19?). Like he's feeling guilty but nobody's really calling him on any of it, so why not just play with his natural self-indulgence? (he *is* something of a defensive savant, i recognize he's an incredible asset as well as his self-indulgent liability)

    I call so much bullshit. I hope Klay find a team who appreciates him. Kerr head is up Steph ass and it shows. Draymond somehow found a way to fit his head up there too. How you thought replacing Klay with BP is ridiculous. If you want to give him time in a more dominant role then say that. But with them treating Klay like he was the problem is just pathetic. Lets talk about them late turnovers Steph does or those terrible shots he jacks up. Or Draymond lil temper tantrums. Poor coaching. Shouldve bench Draymond. Also need to get Looney on the floor cause he will definitely be needed in this play in run.

    • @credx
      @credx Месяц назад +1

      The starting lineup of Looney, Green, Wiggins, Thompson, and Curry is no longer effective for the team. In order to improve their performance, they added Kuminga to the starting lineup. However, they still needed another ball handler to complement the skills of both Kuminga and Wiggins. With TJDavis as the starting center, Klay can now start again, especially since he played well with TJDavis. It's also beneficial to have Davis and Green in the back, especially when Klay or Steph get beaten by their opponents.

    • @user-co1gi2ut9y

      OMG look at the Warriors win loss ratio without Green when he was suspended vs when he came back... then look how much better Klay was doing on the bench taking a break followed by fire playing since he's back starting. coach Kerr is undoughtably the best coach of this era. and about having Looney starting, you obviously haven't seen trayces dunks, and defensive ability.
