Wow! When Draymond asked Klay to be brutally honest about how he feels that was such a moving answer by Klay! Almost brought me to tears. Go get that chip gentleman!
This whole interview had me misty! The total honesty and mutual love & respect for each other is very special. A special blessing for them & us as we have followed them for the past 12 yrs. God Bless Coach for how he really cares for their well being and after 4 conversations with Klay, he saw the light and put his ego aside. Warriors are a very special franchise. 💙💛💙💛🫶🏼
This chat with Klay is just interview gold .. Klay is a kind person, has a great mindset and calmness about him, and easily my favorite Warriors player..
My favorite warriors player too. I like players who can score without being ball dominant and he’s a good defender too. I’ve always wanted to meet him.
That ejection segment truly showed how open these guys are. This level of honesty and accountability is very rarely shown to the public. As fans, we appreciate it and this gives us an insight into the heartbeat of golden state.
KLAY was being too nice. I think this subject is much deeper and Draymond was looking for a MEIA CUPA as they say....in other words bring it up on a podcast when he knows damn well he has been a friken traitor for 2 seasons. So he puts it out there and Klay and Steph are too nice to tell him straight up he has been sabotaging Steph's legacy to favor his bromance LBJ and his obsession bout getting a 5th ring before Steph. Nothing makes LBJ happier than to create obstacles to Steph's legacy so his selfish narcissistic thing to being the phony GOAT can be manufactured.

He will always be an influence to me on coming back from a major injury and with me and the TBI that I had 10 years ago!
When the sun is on the horizon but not yet set ... this introspective chat between basketball brothers shows you why the Klay-Dray-Steph trio will be talked about for decades. Thank you for all the entertainment joy you have given us.
Klay knowing the exact quote he gave to a specific publication years ago about getting a boat one day is hilarious. This conversation between them was great.
I appreciate Dray saying that they all stay in there lanes. It really gives good insight on why they play so well together. They know their roles and what each other is good at and they root and help each other to be great. Special bond!
Klay has always been my favorite player, ever since he was drafted by the Dubs. I remember being so sad for him when he got injured in the '19 finals, and then again while working his way back. I'll never forget his comeback game. I was actually in the hospital myself when it happened, recovering from a huge spinal surgery. I felt like if Klay could recover and come back to be even half the player he was, then I could recover from my situation and get back to school. He was a huge inspiration to me during my own recovery. And he's given Dubs fans all over the world so many good memories. No matter what happens this off season, he's a Warrior for life in my eyes.
Best podcast episode I've watched in years. I was in my feeling listening to some of the answers, the bond between you three will never be broken. Dubs 4 LIFE!!!!!!!!
I wish everyone could have a friend like Klay is to Draymond. A friend who tells you what you need to hear, who builds you up even when correcting you - that is friend indeed.
You guys make my heart smile, I got so much love for this team. Especially being a die hard fan of mj bulls and being from the Chi. I swear I wear my warriors jersey proud to the united center 😂😂😂 my heart bleeds💙💛 God willing 2024 champions 🏆
This went quick in my eyes. Could've gone a couple more hours and it would've been fine by me. I'm glad Dray asked that question and Klay laid it out for him. It takes 2 calm, mellow snipers to offset Dray's fiery, protective personality. It's a perfect match! Meant to be!
This was so enjoyable! Super cool to see this side of Klay. How well spoken and polite he is. We don’t really get that on post games interviews. We’re so lucky in the Bay to have these guys. Love them! It’s a once in a life time that something like this comes together. This is special and thanks for the all the memories!
So true! I especially like the NBA family competition convo between the Holidays & Thompsons (and Currys). I think the Currys are all career 40% three point shooters but they also have to guard; so they're eliminated. Between the Holidays & Thompsons? If Klay gets on one its over: Mr. 60 points on 11 dribbles 🏀
Klay speaks so eloquently, another reason I love him and I'm a huge fan. Glad to finally hear more from him and his perspective on Dray, the team and himself. I will sadly miss all three, Steph, Klay & Dray after they decide to retire from the game.
Klay I love you so much man. Any real warrior fan knows you dray and Steph have to be warriors for life or that is just a crime. What you guys have done for basketball and for my happiness growing up is immeasurable lmao. Thank you dray for another amazing episode. God bless you all. Go Warriors
I never thought any pod could have beaten the Jrue Holiday one. I just loved when Jrue said “come on now”!!!! He is another class act. I bet the Bucks are still kicking themselves too!!! The #11, #23, #30 brotherhood out shines them all. 🫶🏼
Great interview! I'm so glad Klay let Dray know how he feels when he's missing games for nonsense. I could tell Dray took Klay's words to heart. The trio will be missed when they all decide to retire.
Appreciate this episode much more than any episode before because of those hard questions being asked. Appreciate the honesty from both Klay and Draymond! You 3 have truly made us long time dubs fan remembered why we rooted for this team in the first place, especially after those tough 18 years of playoff drought! Win or lose this year I will forever appreciate Steph Klay and Dray!
It is pretty amazing that these guys literally changed the NBA game significantly. It’s a completely different game than I grew up watching. And these are the guys that did it. Crazy.
Hearing this after Klays decision to leave makes so much sense. Dray Steph and the coach seem to have talked Klay into doing what ever made him happy. It’s just a jersey and it’s just job but life is always more important. Watching Dray light up while Klay talked about sailing was all that mattered. Seeing Klay happy is all that matters. Those are real friends ❤️💦🛥️🫡.
If this doesnt change my man draymond then i dont know. I understand him and his emotions on the court sometimes but what klay said here is real brotherhood and i hope dray realizes they really really need him to compete
He know that! Did you hear him say it's a "work in progress"? Did you hear his podcast when he first came back from his suspension, saying that it's a mental thing, and that he's taking the steps forward? When you have a mental "thing" going on, you don't do things because you're a bad person, you do things because of an illness! Only the wise recognize it, and do the work to get better. He's doing that!
@@edwindavis5468 yes thats essentially what i said. This will help dray a lot. Everytime something happens on the court he will remember what klay said and that they really need him.

The way Klay answered that question from Draymond about his ejection is the best way anyone could have answered it. Just goes to show that Klay is not only a sharpshooter on the court but also outside of it.
I love all the Warriors. But Klay Thompson has always been special to me, and not just for his on-court skills. His depth and thoughtfulness are somewhat unexpected yet highly appreciated. Well done D Money Green! Thank you for showing the world how much Klay and Steph still means to your success in this league and how they depend on you for winning games and championships. You guys are true trailblazers and pioneers of the modern NBA!
I love Klay's answer to Draymond asking how he feels when Dray gets ejected. Draymonds vulnerability made me feel very emotional. Nothing but love for these young men.
You can see how much respect Klay, Draymond and Steph have for Mark Jackson. There would be no Steve Kerr without Mark Jackson, he is the one who set the Warriors up for success
Dray, there is your big ‘why’, why you shouldn’t lose your head during games and get yourself ejected. You now know that it hurts Klay and you made Steph cry so be the brother who isn’t going to put those 2 guys through that pain again. Great chat, you guys are gold!
