  • We invite you to join us for Conversations With Jewish Believers In Jesus hosted by Jeff Morgan. In this episode, Jeff talks with Yoel Ben David about his life’s extraordinary and unexpected journey from being an Orthodox Jew to a Jewish follower of Yeshua!
Yoel Ben David was an Orthodox Jew, living in Jerusalem and serving in the Rabbinical Corps during his mandatory military service. It was then that he decided to follow Jesus, the Jewish Messiah. Since then, his knowledge and background in the Orthodox Jewish world has only served to enhance his spiritual journey. Ben David now serves with Jews for Jesus in Jerusalem, bringing the good news of Yeshua back to the city where he first believed.

@@Shofargirl1 What a lovely title you have “Shofargirl”
Many Christians are surprised to hear Jews finding Jesus in the Old Testament. Christ said He didn’t come to abolish the law and the Prophets but to fulfill it. We miss out on the “Son of Man” Prophet Daniel saw in a Vision and who Nations came to worship Him (Daniel chap 7)
Christ is all over the Old Testament, even in minor Prophets like Amos, but He is concealed and then the New Testament reveals Him. I also find that the Prophets’ books like Daniel are like puzzle pieces. Daniel speaks of a thing and then John in Revelation reveals/ uncovers it. God is a Master Architect . He is incredible ☺️☺️☺️

Yes! My life was turned upside down! I thought I was very happy in the new age movement but I was truly heading for hell. When a friend tried to share about Jesus with me I mocked him. He told me that the Bible told him to shake off the dust off his feet and walk away and instantly I knew if that happened it would be over for me. I told him I wasn’t rejecting him. He was a poor man with a wife and four children but he bought me a Bible. My life turned upside down and I had battles in my spirit that terrified me, but I kept turning to Jesus for help. There were some amazing things that happened where the Lord revealed His love and protection in miraculous yet very quiet and personal ways. My mom was an atheist. I tried to tell her about Jesus. She rejected my sharing but she also saw a change in me. Then a very serious illness and a doctor’s prayer with her melted her hard, angry and unforgiving heart and she turned to Jesus. She was always a bitter and angry woman, but she changed from night to day with a sweetness and peace about her that let me know God healed her hard heart. God is amazing, His grace so beautiful.❤️🙏

Last few years I've learned to understand why Jews were not seeing what I thought was so obvious. In Psalms 22 and Isaiah 53. Basically told it's too hard to understand so don't read it. I'm so happy that there are so many Jews who are recognizing the Messiah. He's been there all along throughout the Old Testament.

Jesus could not have lied if his life depended on it. One thing I learned in my spiritual development, there is indeed no other way to the Father but through the Son. Ever since teenage years I searched for God in all the wrong places, until I resorted to Buddhism and meditated for years. Still I knew and held fast that there was a Creator ofcourse. One day I threw my extra shirt on my face to shield from strong rays of the sun while trying to meditate, in that moment a vision came in. As a vacuum of space, as soon as I saw the sandals and a piece of linnen I knew Who it was.Holy..And He was in front of me as any person could be, but Holiness emenated warmth and light. It was the most peace I ever knew in my life and it has changed me profoundly. Now that I am a Christian I read the bible and for the Love of all I can not understand HOW Gods chosen people could not see the constant red thread of announciation of the coming of Jesus ?? There is even an instance where He appears to Daniel! It is all Christ's authority as commanded by God the Father, He is the Alpha and Omega..Father God's right hand, quite literally the Saviour of all humanity. His was the message of Love, the new covennant. Our God is indeed a living eternal God, his face radiated all Life eternal I can not out into words really. I pray since then that all the sonship will have eyes to see and ears to hear and God's chosen people also will finally See and accept the Redeemer Who was sent by God to all. Amen

Jeff: Hola amigos y familia de Jews for Jesus.
Jeff: Si, mucho gusto!
¿Subconciente?
Jeff: Si estudiando Tora y aprendiendo Tora.
Yoel: Absolutamente.
Jeff: Pues muchas gracias a compartirla tu historia. Que maravilloso a escucharla.

    Psalm 2
    Complete Jewish Bible
2 Why are the nations in an uproar,
    the peoples grumbling in vain?
2 The earth’s kings are taking positions,
    leaders conspiring together,
    against Adonai
    and his anointed.
3 They cry, “Let’s break their fetters!
    Let’s throw off their chains!”
    4 He who sits in heaven laughs;
Adonai looks at them in derision.
5 Then in his anger he rebukes them,
    terrifies them in his fury.
6 “I myself have installed my king
    on Tziyon, my holy mountain.”
7 “I will proclaim the decree:
    Adonai said to me,
    ‘You are my son;
    today I became your father.
8 Ask of me, and I will make
    the nations your inheritance;
    the whole wide world
    will be your possession.
9 You will break them with an iron rod,
shatter them like a clay pot.’”
    10 Therefore, kings, be wise;
be warned, you judges of the earth.
    11 Serve Adonai with fear;
    rejoice, but with trembling.
12 Kiss the son, lest he be angry,
and you perish along the way,
    when suddenly his anger blazes.
How blessed are all who take refuge in him.

Praise the Lord! I'm so thankful he has accepted Jesus Christ as his MESSIAH (Lord and Savior). Here is what I share with people in video comment sections: What we need to know about ourselves from God's Word and our only hope of being justified before God: [WHY WE HAVE NO HOPE IN OURSELVES: Mk. 7:20-23 And he (Jesus) said, That which comes out of the man, that defiles the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things (sins) come from within, and defile the man.] [WHY WE NEED A SAVIOR: Rom. 3:10-28 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understands, there is none that seeks after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that does good, no, not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes. Now we know that what things so ever the law says, it says to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his (God's) sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ to all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believes in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude that man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. Joh. 14:6 For God so loved the world (us), that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Rom. 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:]

Let's look what the mighty God, the live God, tells to us ( without SAGES interpretations, "as people may think"), and about what is said at 15" and 4'28"
    Deuteronomy 30:11-20 Complete Jewish Bible
(LY: vi) 11 For this mitzvah which I am giving you today is not too hard for you, it is not beyond your reach.
12 It isn’t in the sky, so that you need to ask, ‘Who will go up into the sky for us, bring it to us and make us hear it, so that we can obey it?’
13 Likewise, it isn’t beyond the sea, so that you need to ask, ‘Who will cross the sea for us, bring it to us and make us hear it, so that we can obey it?’
14 On the contrary, the word is very close to you - in your mouth, even in your heart; therefore, you can do it! (RY: iv, LY: vii)
15 “Look! I am presenting you today with, on the one hand, life and good; and on the other, death and evil
16 in that I am ordering you today to love Adonai your God, to follow his ways, and to obey his mitzvot, regulations and rulings ; for if you do, you will live and increase your numbers; and Adonai your God will bless you in the land you are entering in order to take possession of it.
17 But if your heart turns away, if you refuse to listen, if you are drawn away to prostrate yourselves before other gods and serve them; (LY: Maftir)
18 I am announcing to you today that you will certainly perish; you will not live long in the land you are crossing the Yarden to enter and possess. 19 “I call on heaven and earth to witness against you today that I have presented you with life and death, the blessing and the curse. Therefore, choose life, so that you will live, you and your descendants,
20 loving Adonai your God, paying attention to what he says and clinging to him - for that is the purpose of your life! On this depends the length of time you will live in the land Adonai swore he would give to your ancestors Avraham, Yitz’chak and Ya‘akov.”

People in Sweden are implanting microchips into their hands which have their fiinancial information etc. Wr are only awaiting tje AntiChrist whom I believe is already in this planet.

@@catherinemelnyk No, we are awaiting the Rapture. We get to miss out on the Antichrist. The prophesies of the Old Testament all point to Jesus' birth, life, death, resurrection, and what follows. In my mind it reinforces the New Testament. this helps us in discussions with non believers when they ask us how we know the Bible is the true word of God, especially with Jewish OT believers.

    New Covenant Whole Gospel:
Let us now share the Old Testament Gospel found below with the whole world. On the road to Emmaus He said the Old Testament is about Him.
He is the very Word of God in John 1:1, 14. Awaken Church to this truth.
Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by
husband unto them, saith the LORD:
Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1 (Gal. 3:16)? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel (John 1:49)? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis?
Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart.
Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36)
We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24.

    Matthew 22:41-46
    Complete Jewish Bible
41 Then, turning to the assembled P’rushim, Yeshua put a sh’eilah to them:
42 “Tell me your view concerning the Messiah: whose son is he?” They said to him, “David’s.”
43 “Then how is it,” he asked them, “that David, inspired by the Spirit, calls him ‘Lord,’ when he says,
44 ‘Adonai said to my Lord, “Sit here at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet”’?
45 If David thus calls him ‘Lord,’ how is he his son?”
46 No one could think of anything to say in reply; and from that day on, no one dared put to him another sh’eilah.

Sorry but it was about a fall in consciousness and reliance on intellect alone. Not disobedience. That’s a great way to instil fear. Fear is also a low vibration that contributes to lower consciousness.

Rabban Gamaliel said in Acts chapter 5 33-39 that if the Jesus movement known as Netzarim in Hebrew and led by James out of Jerusalem came to an end it was not from the Lord. They officially ended in 135 ce and disappeared from history in 333ce as Nazarene Jewish Christianity on Amazon confirms. This makes him a false Messiah like the others mentioned in that passage. He should stay with the moderate Orthodox Jewish group as Rabban Gamaliel the Sage prevailed over the Apostles.

Jesus isn't the messiah, Yeshua is.. In hebrew names are extremely important, Yeshua means, God saves. Emmanuel means God is we ith us. Jus saying...addressing a person by their proper name is not only respectful, it's necessary, There's only one name, one can be saved under..

Really amazin is the real necessity to Jews to justify "I,'m was Jew, an Ortodox Jew" since Yeshua was Jew, from David roots, the new testment had been writed and those Yeshua followers were Jews, I mean the term christians (Followers of Jesus were first called “Christians” in Antioch. Acts 11:26 says, "…for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch." They were called "Christians" because their speech and behavior were like Christ.), but this term was named after a Jew, and there's no Yeshua intend to create a new religion, instead he atended many Jews festivities and preached in Synagogues, there's no such thing: "New testament is a non Jewish book" or even yhe SAGES says: "anti semite book, a forbiden book."
    Luke 4 Complete Jewish Bible
4 Then Yeshua, filled with the Ruach HaKodesh, returned from the Yarden and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness 2 for forty days of testing by the Adversary. During that time he ate nothing, and afterwards he was hungry. 3 The Adversary said to him, “If you are the Son of God, order this stone to become bread.” 4 Yeshua answered him, “The Tanakh says, ‘Man does not live on bread alone.’”[a]
5 The Adversary took him up, showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world,
6 and said to him, “I will give you all this power and glory. It has been handed over to me, and I can give it to whomever I choose.
7 So if you will worship me, it will all be yours.” 8 Yeshua answered him, “The Tanakh says, ‘Worship Adonai your God and serve him only.’”[b]
9 Then he took him to Yerushalayim, set him on the highest point of the Temple and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, jump from here! 10 For the Tanakh says,
‘He will order his angels to be responsible for you and to protect you.
11 They will support you with their hands, so that you will not hurt your feet on the stones.’”[c]
12 Yeshua answered him, “It also says, ‘Do not put Adonai your God to the test.’”[d] 13 When the Adversary had ended all his testings, he let him alone until an opportune time.
14 Yeshua returned to the Galil in the power of the Spirit, and reports about him spread throughout the countryside. 15 He taught in their synagogues, and everyone respected him.
16 Now when he went to Natzeret, where he had been brought up, on Shabbat he went to the synagogue as usual. He stood up to read, 17 and he was given the scroll of the prophet Yesha‘yahu. Unrolling the scroll, he found the place where it was written,
18 “The Spirit of Adonai is upon me; therefore he has anointed me to announce Good News to the poor; he has sent me to proclaim freedom for the imprisoned and renewed sight for the blind,
to release those who have been crushed,
19 to proclaim a year of the favor of Adonai.”[e]
20 After closing the scroll and returning it to the shammash, he sat down; and the eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fixed on him. 21 He started to speak to them: “Today, as you heard it read, this passage of the Tanakh was fulfilled!” 22 Everyone was speaking well of him and marvelling that such appealing words were coming from his mouth. They were even asking, “Can this be Yosef’s son?”
23 Then Yeshua said to them, “No doubt you will quote to me this proverb - ‘“Doctor, cure yourself!” We’ve heard about all the things that have been going on over in K’far-Nachum; now do them here in your home town!’ 24 Yes!” he said, “I tell you that no prophet is accepted in his home town. 25 It’s true, I’m telling you - when Eliyahu was in Isra’el, and the sky was sealed off for three-and-a-half years, so that all the Land suffered a severe famine, there were many widows; 26 but Eliyahu was sent to none of them, only to a widow in Tzarfat in the land of Tzidon. 27 Also there were many people with tzara‘at in Isra’el during the time of the prophet Elisha; but not one of them was healed, only Na‘aman the Syrian.”
28 On hearing this, everyone in the synagogue was filled with fury. 29 They rose up, drove him out of town and dragged him to the edge of the cliff on which their town was built, intending to throw him off. 30 But he walked right through the middle of the crowd and went away.
31 He went down to K’far-Nachum, a town in the Galil, and made a practice of teaching them on Shabbat. 32 They were amazed at the way he taught, because his word carried the ring of authority.
33 In the synagogue there was a man who had an unclean demonic spirit, who shouted in a loud voice, 34 “Yaah! What do you want with us, Yeshua from Natzeret? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are - the Holy One of God!” 35 But Yeshua rebuked it: “Be quiet, and come out of him!” The demonic spirit threw the man down in the middle of the crowd and came out of him, having done him no harm. 36 They were all astounded and said to one another, “What kind of teaching is this? Why, he gives orders with power and authority to the unclean spirits, and they come out!” 37 And reports about him went out through the whole surrounding district.
38 Leaving the synagogue, he went to Shim‘on’s house. Shim‘on’s mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever, and they asked him to do something for her. 39 So, standing over her, he rebuked the fever; and it left her. She immediately got up and began helping them.
40 After sunset, all those who had people sick with various diseases brought them to Yeshua, and he put his hands on each one of them and healed them; 41 also demons came out of many, crying, “You are the Son of God!” But, rebuking them, he did not permit them to say that they knew he was the Messiah.
42 When day had come, he left and went away to a lonely spot. The people looked for him, came to him and would have kept him from leaving them. 43 But he said to them, “I must announce the Good News of the Kingdom of God to the other towns too - this is why I was sent.” 44 He also spent time preaching in the synagogues of Y’hudah.
