He has since served as a special education teacher and an assistant rabbi at a Messianic synagogue on Long Island. After several years of serving in this capacity, he became the full-time rabbi of Ohev Yisrael in Washington, DC.

JESUS is not only for the Jewish. He is the king of the Universe. God made Man. I don't have to be a Jewish. He is my God my Christ my King. Jesus forgave while hanging on the cross in absolute agony. We have no right to hold onto that offense for Him when He, upon Whom it was perpetrated, forgave. "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do."
But even more, we *all* have sinned, and Jesus' death on the cross was necessary to pay for our sins as well, so what gives us the right to think we're ANY better?!

@SunsetRainbow373 The Tanakh is from God and teaches Good and Evil. But to think you can gain Life through it's observance is the lie of the serpent in Beresheet. It's a misunderstanding of it's divine purpose, not of it's divine origin. The Tanakh wich teaches Good and Evil shows us we are hopeless sinners. Beside the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil, there was the tree of Life in Eden that has the divine purpose to dispense Life. It's a divine tree and it's fruit is also divine, not human, but meant to nutrish humans. The tree of knowledge of Good and Evil was not meant to nutrish them because they were to die of it. But it is helpful to let you know which kind of food you really need. Trying to observe the Tanakh thinking you can make it on your own, you try to be like God. In other words you try to accomplish the prediction of the serpent in Eden because you give credit to his words, just like Adam and Eve did.
I am Chinese. By the grace of God, I received Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior at age 42 19 years ago. I read the Holy Bible and pray to the Lord daily. I now have true peace, joy and the assurance of salvation. Hallelujah. Thanks be to the Lord my God and Savior Jesus Christ.
Sorry, but you have been misled. There is a better way. Belief solely in G0d, go directly to Him, you do not need or require an intermediary. And indeed, he is a distraction.
I saw a video of a group of Chinese Christians opening a box full of Bibles. They were overjoyed, praying and kissing the Bibles. It was heartwarming to see. Here in the west there is little danger to be Christian. That isn't always the case in many parts of the world. God bless those that risk their safety for faith in Jesus. Please keep them safe.
I was a Buddhist and received Jesus into my life in college, too. It has been 39 years now am serving God as a missionary together withy husband with the Thai people.

The 144,000 is an unknown Jewish people who are not identified as to what era they would come from.
Please do not take prophesies and Biblical writings out of context. I am not saying g that you are, but I see what you said as suggesting that God must be saving the 144,000 now. We can't actually know this.

Great praise be to Yahweh. I am a Christian as a result of the great commission and obedience of missionaries. I have this unexplained feeling for the Jewish brethren and couldn't understand at first why they could not accept Jesus as the messiah. Watching your tube begins to clarify that to me.

Being raised on the King James Bible, this verse challenged me. Answer to prayer was when I received the Jewish Study Bible because I wanted the source. More prayers and then the receipt of the Jewish New Testament along with its commentary because the New Testament is first and foremost, a Jewish faith. You are the rightful heirs and we have been grafted in. Romans 11:11-24

Sorry, but this is problematic. The Jewish path to G0d has absolutely notthing to do with Jesus. If you can accept that, all well and good. If not you are free to worship elsewhere.
Every orthodox synagogue is a Messianic house of God, for that is ultimately what we believe in. It does not need to be mentioned constantly, but it is true. And to belabour the point, it has nothing to do with Jesus, so you will not hear his name mentioned ever!
As a catholic I am amazed by the Holy Spirit and how he works lately, all believers in Jesus/Yeshua be blessed🙏🙏🙏

The Protestants and Catholics all need to be born again and become disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ He that believes and is baptized will be saved. I was born catholic and I’m now a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ and making other disciples on my journey with the Lord Jesus Christ 24/7 . We become born again when we call on Jesus directly for forgiveness and salvation and eternal life with Jesus forevermore. Baptism always followed immediately after deciding to follow Jesus forevermore and repentance. Then being filled with the Holy Spirit. A Spirit filled believer becomes a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ by the renewing of our minds daily 24/7 and making other disciples on our journeys with Jesus 24/7

It is a terrible tragedy. Every Jew who leaves the fold csuses God to cry. And those instrumental in his defection, delusion and misstep cause anger and wrath to be brought to the world and delays the day the Messiah will come.
You are wasting your time. Better spend it doing deeds of goodness and kindness. Stop missionarising to the Jews. This is a terrible sin. It really irritates and upsets God and brings His retribution (=wrath and anger) to the world. Help them to become stronger in their belief in God, and Judaism and not Jesus.

I grew up Catholic and have found myself becoming more distant on faith ..listening for at least 2 years now to messianic Jew's testimony brought me back in believing Jesus . My faith is now stronger, my belief in God's existence and Jesus as the son of God have solidified. Thank you

It has been the same for me too. I think what you are trying to say when you say "have found myself becoming more distant on faith" really means that your becoming more distant from the teachings or doctrines of your catholic traditions. Not distant from having Faith in Yeshua (Jesus). ❤
Anybody regardless of faith who follows the teachings of Jesus/Yeshua, these are brothers and sisters. The New Covenant lives within each of us. We are all Gods chosen at this point.
Oy is all I can tell you. Jesus the Judean would have really told you there is only One G-d and you havr a direct connection, not thrpugh statues, not through people, not through him. The Christian gospels are made up stories hundreds of years after the fact. They are not from Jesus the Judean

As a non-Jewish believer, I love to hear the journey of how Jewish believers come the Saviour. There is always insight that is very interesting.
I'm a catholic from Malta, I found this amazing on many levels. Being that Jesus is Jewish, all of my life I have thought/felt/wondered that believing in Jesus would be the ultimate fulfilment of the Jewish faith, all of us non Jewish Cristians can learn a lot from these important discussions.

I am a Christian. I accepted Jesus in my heart when I was four years old. I love the Jewish nation and pray for the salvation of Israel every day. I have told my Jewish friends about Jesus and pray for them that they will one day believe. Jews for Jesus, keep up the great work. I encourage you to keep going. Their is nothing more beautiful than a Jewish person who believes in Jesus. And as the scripture says, “how lovely on the mountains are the feet of him who bring good news. So somehow I was watching Rev. Billy Graham, didn't know why, and I broke down confessing my sins and felt I was instantly forgiven and knew I had become saved. My life changed in minutes that first week in January 2005. 💞 Oh, how I want that for my family.... 🙏🙏

I have a story as well. I am a Messianic Jew, and came to accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I felt so much peace accepting Jesus into my life as a Jew, but it felt wrong to give up my old traditions. I chose to adopt Jesus’s teachings as a fulfillment to be added onto the Jewish teachings. I lay importance into both the Old and New Testament. I was sooo happy to see that people can be Jewish and Christian at the same time. I became a much better person since adopting Christianity and Jesus Christ Himself in my life alongside my Jewish practices in God :)
So thankful that you have discovered Jesus is the Messiah. ✝️
As to your struggle about the old traditions, please read Galatians 3 & 5 particularly.
The Messiah came to fulfill the law. So there are ceremonial laws that we no longer have to observe because they were foreshadowing His coming.
( Don't get me wrong, Jesus gave us instructions in the New Testament, too, among them a reiterating and further explanation of the majority of the 10 commandments. And, He says that if we love Him, we'll obey Him BECAUSE we're thankful for what He's done for us... but not to earn our salvation or His acceptance by keeping His law, for that would be works. And we are not saved by what we do, but by what He did / does.

Yes. I have only seen this maybe half a dozen times, in my life. Holy spirit on full display. Angelic like. Not of this world, for sure.
Again I am a Gentile. It is amazing to read in Acts Paul's conversion from being a destroyer of the church to being a fervent defender of the church. On the road to Damascus it is as though Jesus switched on the light so that Paul could see the truth. He came to realize that all his rabbinical training and works were for naught. However, Paul quickly came to realize that the Jesus he persecuted was indeed his Messiah. He went from being a legalistic rabbi to the rabbi that came to know the liberty in Christ. (Of course, liberty from sin, and not liberty to sin.) It is amazing how quickly Paul changed his understanding that Jesus is not dead, but forever Our Lord and Savior.
George Hart I mostly agree with you, but the Rabbinical training Paul had received prior to his conversion was not all for naught. It couldn’t save his soul, only Jesus could do that…but that education did give him a fuller understanding when the truth about Jesus showed Paul how He was in all that Paul had learned about. I can only imagine how his brain exploded with the wealth of knowledge and understanding giving light to his previous knowledge of the scriptures. Plus he had the other apostles to help him sort out some of it with him because it must have been overwhelming. I love seeing that Christians were at first afraid of him because he was a persecutor of Christians, but realized quickly the miracle God had performed in Paul’s life. I have seen such a change in my own life as well, from darkness to light. ❤️🙂
@@LilyAmongThorns All that is true, but you must keep in mind how angry Jesus was with the Pharisees who condemned Him for healing on the Sabbath. It aggravated Jesus that some Pharisees thought if they "dedicated" their property to the temple, they would no longer be required to care for their parents. Jesus detested Pharisees who made a great show with their givings and their prayers. Jesus got very angry with the legalistic Pharisees which Paul was one at the time of his conversion. God is graceful to all of us.
Paul’s testimony is historical evidence of the resurrection

@@LilyAmongThorns I know in my life it is the awful things that I have done from which I have learned the most. The older I get I see more clearly how horrible that I am and see more clearly the great amount of love that Jesus has for me. I am being too harsh. These things may only apply to me.

Thank you for this video & discussion. As a Christian, I've always admired the Jewish culture and history. I remember being invited to a Passover Dinner and I was so honored to actually be part of such a beautiful tradition that I read about in the Bible. But my heart was saddened because the Jewish family that I was with made comments that made me realize that they actually didn't believe in the stories in Exodus and the host herself was atheist. I thought to myself "why are you doing this year after year and you don't believe?" I pray for God's will to be done in the hearts of the Jewish people all over the world. For Christians and Jews to come together, to praise our King!

there is no "gentile" believer in Yeshua. everybody who believes in Jesus is a Jew, because of the circumcision of the heart according Romans2.29 which happens in Baptizm as Colossions2.11-12 says.

Thank you very much for your discussion and the invaluable insights of the Jewish Messianic faith ✡️ I'm Greek Orthodox by birth, from Greek-Cypriot parents. I grew up not really accepting my faith - living an empty idealistic faith, governed by 'traditions'. My late mother was the second of 10 siblings of an Orthodox priest. She loved Jesus but never knew the fundamentals of her Orthodox faith. When I'd ask her to show me where a particular belief stood in the Bible, she would simply say that this is what we were taught. I debated with her and with time I was in a total denial of my faith. In 2006 I became a born-again Christian, and my life changed 180°. I couldn't believe how 'blind' we can be when we're embedded in legalistic-traditions of our faith. I experienced life-changing revelations and miracles in my life after this transformation; but this is another story.
Meanwhile, something very strange happened a couple of days before my mother passed last November. I was driving to the hospital, praying and crying for God's intervention to make her well. I was literally talking to God, and I said, "Lord, if you heal my mother, I'll do anything, I'll go anywhere you want me to. As in a flash of lighting, I saw Jerusalem beforeI me! I literally said. "Really Lord... You want me to go to Jerusalem?" By now, I had drawn up into a parking spot. I stepped out of the car and taken a few steps when before my eyes, on the ground, I saw something shiny. I bent over and picked it up. It was a small charm. And I ask you, what are the odds for anyone to find the six-pointed star of David in a hospital parking lot in Cyprus? At this point, I sadly say that the Lord took my mother. I think of this incident everyday and cannot make any sense of it... Can you perhaps?

First of all, I'd like to say I'm so sorry for your loss. But, have you thought that God actually answered your prayer by heal her completely from her pain and illness? I mean, she's now together with God and without any pain anymore. This is only my own thought, since I had experienced a same thing when I lost my brother years ago. I was angry and very sad, but when I got that thought I was in peace knowing my bro is in a good hand now. He wouldn't feel any pain anymore and he's completely healed. Hope this can strengthen you as well :)

I had the same experience going into the Catholic Church. I joined thinking it was the right thing to do after being raised Baptist my whole life and a believer in Jesus. I did have incentive as my spouse is catholic and we married in a Catholic Church. I slowly realized I made the wrong decision and the Lord removed me from the church. He basically didn’t let me participate in the Catholic Church even after converting. I’m so grateful for Jesus Christ allowing me into his life and saving me over and over. He is my Savior and my best friend. Praise Yeshua.

Also, even really reading the old ! So many times it seems they haven't read it much or thoroughly, and some even apparently have had Isaiah 53 removed from their scriptures (?)... . So, just to even prayerfully seek God and truth and read what you do think is or may be His word, for yourself ! Apparently Jews also have other books elevated to a high level which they spend a ton of time learning and focusing on. I would of course challenge them to take time to read the word of God only for awhile, and seek to hear Him apart from, and definitely above, man's teachings.

As a Gentile believer in Yeshua I am always thrilled to hear about a Jewish person coming to faith in Him. To me, Yeshua is like the final piece of a jigsaw puzzle for Jewish people. When they receive Him, He brings revelation and understanding to their minds. Finally, things fall into place and they see the complete picture - everything finally makes sense for them. They are a completed Jew. So wonderful how glorious God is!!

As a Christian more than a few Jewish friends from when I was a child up until now, I have always been grateful for my Jewish roots, and how the Jewish faith is the “grandfather” of my Christian faith. But I have been of heavy heart, because I don’t /didn’t know how God is going to do this thing and save my friends through Christ and it does my heart so good to find this channel and hear this. I feel like I don’t have a right to tell them what they should believe because I’m not Jewish, but to share this channel, as well as pick up, wisdom on how to open up a conversation about it that I’m learning from this channel … with my Jewish friends with Content that is coming from Jewish people And Rabbis who believe in Yeshua gives me hope to the point of tears welling up in my eyes. Eternity is not long enough to tell Jesus how beautiful and awesome He is.
I used to think often of how Jesus was rejected by His own, and how could they not have seen Him for who He was. But then the Holy Spirit revealed to me that if they would have saw who He truly was and accepted Him, absolutely no one would have put Him on the cross, but rather worshiped Him as Messiah and we'd all be lost forever. That veil upon their eyes allowed the fulfillment of the prophecy of the Cross to die for all mankind.
Looking forward the culmination of Christ's Kingdom, when every knee will bow and every tongue confess His Lordship! Praying that we all be mightily used for His will being done on earth until He returns 🙏
