Specially for this video 🌼 I have to comment for Mr.Sapra's most humblest genuine video I guess this is the first time, where he asked about how much they earn, which took viewers into the depth of the scenario. The way he asked the questions exactly what the viewers wanted to ask to the chai pluckers, made my day. I wish for more such genuine uncut videos, where the essence is not lost with the funky music in background. Dhanyavad Delhi Food Walks Team, Awesome video ✨🌼✨🌼✨🌼
Thank you Anubhav ji and the whole team, for showing the "behind the scenes" stories' especially of the tea leave pluckers, it's very difficult to even fathom, what goes on with the tea leaves pluckers, knowing how little one is paid without much acknowledgement . They are truly one of my favourite people, honest and hardworking. Thank you to the team for respecting the workers, whilst showing us the true hard gripping stories. Truly hope this changes for the better.
Wonderful and truly amazing episode of world famous darjeeling tea story bhuat umada and shandhar or jabarzdast video new informative and nicely presented and I am watching this video just right now or happy viewing 👍👌😃🤩😍
Infact, the best in this series... Much more than a vlog, this is like a video documentation, on 'darjeeling tea'... nothing can be missed... all the information is linked to one another... The last clip was far surpassing, as it brings the reality to limelight... Its worth congratulating, this absolute honest effort.
Anubhav ji you won my heart once again not just because of this amazing vlog but when you sat with the workers spoke and ate with them. They are very hard working honest people . And this vlog was so good, respect Anubhav ji. Thanks .
Though our Darjeeling Tea is famous all over the world...but the wages of these workers are low....Once again thank you Anubhav Sir and team for this beautiful blog
One of the best episodes of all time !! 👍👍Having visited Darjeeling several times and also visited the tea gardens and the whole process of tea making including Makaibari, I must convey my heartfelt thanks to Anubhav ji for highlighting the life of tea Garden workers. The ending line should make everyone think hard.... "is it a boon or a curse " --- I'm certain that it was said with a lot of pain. Salute to the tea garden workers who work so hard to produce the best tea in the world....hope they get a better deal in future.
Understanding Tea is really a science. Right from growing, plucking, sorting and more right up to the end product at our tables. I feel so much smarter now having watched this video. Anubhav did good with this one. Most of us in India are used to to the CTC Chai available at tea stalls and our homes all over. Learning new things never stop.
Inadvertently you have helped in raising an alarming situation that the tea labourers of Darjeeling and Dooars are facing. Thank you for your support. I had requested various popular channels to make video upon this situation but no response at all, their videos are basically based on crypto and bla bla bla.
Very nice blog. Hearing the story of Tea workers and their wages feels very sad. They deserve more. A lot of respect for them. Thank you so much for the video.
This is not only a food vlog, but rather a comprehensive documentary about Darjeeling, its people and its tea culture. Thank you for your efforts. Additionally, the video production quality is superior. Continue your excellent effort, Sapraji.
This is the reason why India as a country is not developing as it supposed to be. The same British mentality lies still with us. They used to give close to nothing wage to the workers. The rich managers still follow their steps. Hopeless. The workers of tea gardens are very poor. But still, they work with a smile. Love ❤️ to Anubhabji for portraying the reality.
The story of tea leaves pluckers is a story of exploitation. Let alone the owners of tea gardens, even the state Governments of West Bengal and Assam have done little to improve their plight. Thanks a ton Anubhav for highlighting the lives of impoverished tea pluckers. They are probably destined to a life of poverty and hardship. Yours is the only video that portrayed their lives of misery without going into political overtones. And some more thanks for educating us in the process of tea production, which nobody bothers to know about. God bless you Anubhav. But eventually the most important question remains unanswered. Does Darjeeling need the tea gardens?
So glad that a lot of people appreciated our efforts for this. It was so difficult to actually gain permission from the tea gardens to film the entire process as most are sceptical especially after the BBC documentary. But thankfully Makaibari agreed as factory visits weren't allowed specifically since it was just after the pandemic peak in India.
Thank you for enriching us about the complete process of tea plantation and processing in factory . After watching this episode I am sure tourists going to Darjeeling or kalimpong will be visiting these places also .Thank you Anubhavji and team for this very informative vlog. 😊🙏
We enjoyed whole episode with such a detailed information on Tea. It's very rare opportunity for us to know the actual difference of Tea variety. It's always better to know about the product Technically than Marketing view. Watching you sipping the Tea, we could learn how to enjoy the real taste of Tea. We fully enjoyed it but Speechless at the end note!!
Beautiful blog full of Knowledge on tea plucking to Grades, blend taste above all brief on the tea pluckers their plight hard work with added information on what simple food they eat & their megre income I must appreciate the effort
Your are correct..but even if laws or employees ask for higher wages...some migrant labour is ready to do the job at low cost. Same reason why so many Indian labourers even IT professionals work abroad. An employee can demand only when he is a specialised skill worker.
@@abhishekghosh5550 For IT employees..I am talking about salary point of view as lots of them who freshly move to greener pastures or get internally transferred work for less salary as compared to a local of that country with similar skill sets.
The story of the labourers and the condition they live in brought tears to my eyes. The corporates should be ashamed of themselves. We are living in such an Evil World.
Hope this video will do its bit in waking up the mandarins to the travesty of tea workers. This is precisely why now the new generations of those hailing from labour families are going beyond tea plantations and armed forces. Thanks, Anubhav ji for making this video.
Anubhavji my respect for you increases by your every videos. You bring such deep and touching stories of people hidden in the reality of everyday life that we have jntil now barely stopped to think about. Love and respect 🙏 to you sir.
Hard working labour..low wages ..facing so many obstacles to run their family ..but still they worked dedicatly and the most amazing things are you won't find them sad
Always with a different Chaska everytime u come out with your vdos...enjoyed the part with the beautiful hardworking lady workers who are the foundation and the backbone of every tea Estates ...giving their best and their youthful years getting back only a meagre earnings.
Awesome video Anubhav... Thank you for bringing out the story of tea workers, especially showcasing their everyday challenges... I hope they get what they deserve...
Thanx anubhav sir & Delhi Food walks team to give a deep knowledge of Darjeeling Tea and information that are related with Tea ( Now we can say) We had really had a Chuski of Chai
Very nicely made video Anubhav telling the story of Darjeeling tea and tea workers. I also feel that very low salary is being paid to the tea pluckers considering the amout of time and energy they are putting in. You should also visit the tea gardens of Munnar Kerela.
This Episode is not only shows the bright side of world famous Darjeeling tea from scratch to packaging and the process of making Darjeeling tea but also the real hard work behind this, dedicated to all tea workers who work at low wedges.
awesome video, made me sad to see nothing has changed as far as the condition of the local tea workers are concerned. Please make a video on Assam tea gardens. Thanks

Bitter truth of Darjeeling's tea worker. Big thanks to channel.

You have performed a yeoman service for the tea workers. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if they got fair wages as an outcome of this video.
Your are correct..but even if laws or employees ask for higher wages...some migrant labour is ready to do the job at low cost. Same reason why so many Indian labourers even IT professionals work abroad. An employee can demand only when he is a specialised skill worker.

Wb govt has not done any good thing for us..we have faced backwardeness all this years..no good wage no proper infrastructure, no development..
The story of the labourers and the condition they live in brought tears to my eyes.

One of the best episodes I saw in your channel. Superb. Keep it up...!!!
