I really was trying to discover how to connect my PRO Controler from Nintendo Switch to my tablet! Has a bigger screen in handheld then a phone.

So to test it out, I tried pairing my phone with a WIIU controller.
I wasn't successful, but it did show that I could connect to it, so it wasn't impossible, I'm sure I'll find a way to connect it.

The Vlogician I've tried some weird number/letters somewhere in the back of the controller, I couldn't get it to connect usually because the syncing of the controller wouldn't stay on long enough

Hey guys, from the research that I have done, I found that the latest update of the controller was the issue. I bought the xbone controller to play games on my phone but it is not working. You can detect the device via Bluetooth but cannot actually pair/connect it to your android smartphone. It says "cannot pair because of incorrect pin/pass key". Microsoft took away the bluetooth support for android in the latest controller update. BUT, a few devices are still supported. Devices that are supported currently are : Galaxy S6(all), S7(all), Note 5. This is basically for Samsung Gear VR supported devices. I hope this helped you guys.

Well,my xbox one s controller works with my samsung gallaxy j5 2016..however it has a little problem. After memorising the controller the phone will not be able to pare..but if i delete it from the memory then its gonna connect and use it normally

Help! My wired 3rd party controller won't work on any phones! It has a built in mini USB! When I connect it, it doesn't work! It should light up! I tried it on three different phone!

Concluded that, they (These Nintendo Switch controllers) can connect to pretty much anything (But only Bluetooth was shown, the cabled isn't shown but perhaps works too). But, yeah, there's a complain for full Joy-Con setup. You cannot, unless someone build a driver for it. Windows would be definitely the first one to get.
So how about the opposite? I mean what can Nintendo Switch connect to a generic controller? Is it only support the 1st party or is it support 3rd party as well? Because there's already claim and some proofheads that they cannot.
Hi, I have tried to connect up the following controllers to the Nintendo Switch: Xbox One S, PS4, Steam and an old PS2 with USB adaptor and none of them work via USB cable or Bluetooth or using the Xbox or PS4 wireless adapters :-(

FYI, if you guys buy a brand new xbox controller, it could still not have bluetooth, you can check the model number under the batteries. I forgot which models have it, but older models are still sold as brand new. So be careful.

Hi ! Why do you say it's impossible for xbox controllers to work with android phones while there are so many videos today showing it works with some phones/bt xone controller & bt 360 controller ? Are uou saying thoses videos are all fake ? Please let me know.
