This would be amazing for emulators for your android devices. For example if you want to play on the PSP emulator, you can use both joy cons and set the controller settings in input settings so that you will be able to play like an actual PSP
The lag is due to the fact that the joy con is waiting for a "connecting message" from your phone. No one has figured out what message to send for now.
Um, this might seem random but im currently making a Button Box for my Switch but I was wondering if I added a microcontroller would it work with the switch as a controller?
I tried, and it works perfectly with my galaxy s4 with 4.4.2 rooted, but there's a big BIG latency with my galaxy note 4 with 6.0.1 non-rooted... Why it doest work with my note 4? :(

@Endie & Wither I have a disease called sickle cell anemia,it causes abnormal crescent shaped (like a half moon) blood cells, which are normally round. The cells get stuck in my blood vessels depriving that area of oxygen, and cause excruciating ammounts of pain where its stuck at. Tl;dr- my back was hurting badly from my disease had to get stronger meds to stop it.
I seem to have the worst luck with controllers on my phone. They never work. I've tried 360, wiiu, xone, ps4, and now a joycon. Maybe it's my phone. I've never had a fancy expensive smart phone.
Yes, but you would have to buy an Xbox to Switch/PC/PlayStation Magic NS Adapter made my Mayflash. And the two joycons would work like an Xbox controller.
@@vocaloidsubita why old? It Works on my older Phone better... On my new Phone it's awful.. but my old Phone lags so it's Not fun to Play laggy Games with controller
Just wondering how many people is actually using Android 7.0... I'm still using a phone that runs Android 4.4 and the out-of-the-box firmware was Android 4.3. But, it works almost perfectly fine for me. I keep my PC's Windows 10 up to date but that's for boosting production efficiency, phones? I don't see any point getting something new when mine is almost just a social media machine and a time killing machine for public transport. Kinda off-topic but I don't think Android 4.X has good enough controller support out of the box, and that might be what many people is still using even nowadays.
I have managed to pair my Joy Con L with my Galaxy Note 8 with 0 input lag. For me it seems to work when i put the phone in performance mode and i attempt to reconnect the Joy Con a few times. After that, it just keeps working, no 30 sec DS4 connection limit. Please like this comment so others can try this method and hopefully fix this bothering issue. Have a great day!
Why am I totally not surprised that the phone developed by Apple refuses to even recognize the Joycons?

You can use both/ when using emulators you can remap all controls so both can be used.
for real and i can use them in dolphin emultor and play call of duty as a nunchuck wnd wiimote and move with my hand the joycon as a wiimote?
