  • This is my review of the Expedition backpack! This guy's very large, with some respectable design features and compartments. If you want a large, premium backpack that doesn't look insane, this may be your next option! Sub if you haven't already, thank you for the love and God bless!

    Ive used the Logistics Flap Lid Backpack for about a half year and quality and comfort is stellar. Never paid that much for a back pack coming from a Topo Klettersack. Was surprised that both did not come with a sternum strap. Luckily a Mystery Ranch works perfectly for the Logistics Tumi backpack. Been eye balling the expedition but not sure it would be a big upgrade in space from the Logistic flap. Great review dude!! Wish Tumi would put the Liter qty on them

    I’m looking into getting this bag to pair it up with my Tumi carry on. Was wondering how big would this be on a 5’1 petite person? And would it easily fit in under most international airline under seat storage? Thanks for a thorough review BTW!

    • @BioGear
      @BioGear  Год назад +3

      I'm 6' tall and it does hang down my lower back. As petite as you are, I wouldn't be surprised if it began to cover your behind. That being said, it does carry a formidable amount of clothing. It will fit under a seat, but will take a little of your feet room since its so tall (21"). Hope that helps!

    I’m trying to get a tumi bag, I don’t get the design choices. Most have no dedicated space that will fit a midsize water bottle. Once you remove the filling they stuff it with, the bags look very deflated and cave in. Very restrictive functionality for $700-$1000 bags

    • @BioGear
      @BioGear  Год назад +1

      A majority of their bags seem to hold their shape pretty well, you just can’t grasp the bag with a fist or it will squish in. The search and nomadic do look like they can hold good size water bottles. If you have a tumi store around, try to fit one and see how it works for you

      As you saw in the video, the navigation is much more normal sized, the expedition is large. If you are traveling and need to carry plenty of clothing, toiletries etc, the expedition looks extremely travel friendly. The navigation is a great every day backpack, with enough room for a laptop and most daily essentials, like a hoodie. I wouldn’t buy an expedition for daily office travel

The expedition is very tall but can hold a lot of stuff, and I've yet to see a packing backpack in person. Those two are both quite big though. If it doesn't bother you to have a big backpack, I did like the expedition.
