The man speaks! It’s so nice to give the frontman a break and have the chance to get to know other members of the band. Drummers are criminally under-appreciated.
It's really nice to see an interview with someone besides Noah. All the guys seem great so it's just refreshing to get to know someone else since Noah does the majority of the interviews.
Nick is the fuckin man. Met him before a show and he was the most down to earth dude, very cool to meet these legends and they end up making you feel like they’re not a famous musician but just a homie for a little bit. Then you see them on stage an hour later and remember who they really are, savages.
I am so happy to find drummer interviews! Would love to see have Vinny from MIW on here some day! Maybe you all could even do a drum stream on twitch together!
US watcher/fan of Bad Omens, saw you guys live in Atlanta in 2023, and man. Watching you beat the drums is something else. Everything you do is so intense and focused, like each hit is a sniper shot. Keep up the great work!
I always watch the drummers at concerts, it just blows my mind how someone can do so many things at the same time. Also love watching random drum covers and playhtroughs. Nirvana would be headlining my dream festival, almost got to see them in 1993.
I was about 10 years old when my brother started working at festivals for a company that worked with a tv channel. I don't know who was the drummer I saw when I went to a small rock festival with my parents, I can't remember the band either but I know it was the first thing I noticed when I took a look at the stage. Drumming fascinates all the time, especially if you tried it by yourself. It looks so easy but it's so fucking hard. Seeing Nick drumming makes so much fun. His energy is incredible😍
I love Nick's laugh. Hihihihi! And yes, I ALMOST took a picture of him when he was taking down his equipment on stage, just because I thought it was so cool he did it himself. I didn't though. Dodged a bullet there.
Not sure how I stumbled upon this video, but I throughly enjoyed it. Such a wholesome podcast. Thank you for chatting with Folio and letting us see a different side of things that isn’t usually shown. Cheers from Maryland 🍻
I love that he’s in a Black motorcycle club that’s been around since the 70s. Fucking amazing. And happy for him finally being able to buy the bike that he’s always wanted. Definitely a sweet voice, I have to agree with some of the other comments.
Rocked up for a few minutes to just have a look, ended up sticking around to the end, it's amazing how attention consuming watching two people who are friends talk about mundane topics is just enjoyable.
My boyfriend got fatally injured on his motorcycle in L.A., corner of Venice and Motor. So far, years later, none of my children have bought one. I’m grateful. I’m glad you were ok, Nick Folio.
This is such a great interview, the casual vibe is so good. I wish more interviews had portions of just chatting about things, you get sick of hearing the same questions over and over. It's fun to learn about Folio's fishing expertise
craig has created such a nice chill vibe for this podcast, the conversations are so interesting and not forced and the quality is pristine, beautiful stuff sir x
I got to spend extensive time with Folio and know/knew him before Bad Omens. He is the world's nicest guy. I remember sitting by my pool and talking about taking over the world. He texted me when he joined Bad Omens. I have always been so happy and proud to see him and the band succeed. NOBODY deserves it more.
i saw bad omens way back when they opened up for asking alexandria with born of osiris and after the burial. they only had one album then. crazy to see how quickly they have blown up in a short amount of time
Honestly, this style with you and the guest shooting the shit over drinks that seemed to start with Ali, is my fav. But I understand why you gotta polish it up, case in point Mario from Gojira. But hopefully we can get a mix of both in the future. 🤘
Did not expect to love this so much! I love the easy going conversations. I love Nick’s drumming. Inspiring and Nick seems like such a sweet guy. Glad to find the one interview of Nick. Sorry for fanfiction. I bet that’s really weird. Never new about it until lately. Love the gear talk too. Fyi Bonnaroo Festival has a glamping feel. 100% recommend it. Both keep up the great work !
Awesome interview. They always have a chill vibe when it’s just two friends talking and hanging out. Folio seemed a little nervous maybe at first but it was good to see him loosen up. First and only time I saw Stray and Bad Omens was last St Patrick Day in Brooklyn, hope you guys can tour again.
I like the intros. I also don’t mind ads at all. If you got the opportunity to work with other brands then I want to hear about it. I want you and the downbeat to continue being successful so do what you gotta do! Everyone else can just skip the intro if they don’t like it
Might be the funniest podcast i've listened to in a while despite not knowing jack shit about fishing, drums or bikes, didn't feel two hrs pass at all 😂
This is great. I loved this! I do love Nick's Southern accent. But man, if you think this is Southern, you haven't heard anything yet. 😂 Also, people in Florida usually don't sound that Southern... But I guess British people wouldn't know that... Just one of those strange quirks about American accents. I'll definitely have to check out more episodes of your podcast.
Even though I know nothing about drums, I love hearing y'all talk about it and pretend I'm getting insight into the music. I'm sat here trying to imagine what y'all are actually talking about. Pretty fun actually. More fun than guitars too. A guitar is just a guitar, but a drum has so many parts and it seems like you can add extra things too that are not "necessary." Pretty cool.
Yes BUT without guitars it would sound boring. We need guitar and bass, too. But that's also what I love about drums. You can exchange or add anything you want and it can also change your style😀
The most shocking thing to come out of this interview was the fact that Nick is NOT southern?! His accent gives yee-haw vibes, was not expecting Maryland.
Hey there! New to the podcast. I enjoyed this episode so much! Nick is an animal on the drums and I’m so glad to hear from his perspective on things. 😊 P.S. having Matt on is such a great idea! Can’t wait for that episode! ☺️
Hey Craig! Thanks for having such an awesome podcast and you tube channel, I always enjoy it!! Just wanted to say Nick is wrong, he IS the favored member of Bad Omens as far as I'm concerned
i'm not even sure if it's legal but i have an old school zil bell as well (cup style) that rings forever.. i just threw a moon gel in the inside of the cup at 12 and 6 and it still cuts hard but it dies out pretty quickly. might keep them on there going forward
The man speaks! It’s so nice to give the frontman a break and have the chance to get to know other members of the band. Drummers are criminally under-appreciated.
Ive never hear Nick speak before this. Hes so soft spoken and has such a sweet voice. ❤
So they're all soft spoken ? 😭😭 it's too cute
Folio needs more love. Thanks for interviewing him.
It's really nice to see an interview with someone besides Noah. All the guys seem great so it's just refreshing to get to know someone else since Noah does the majority of the interviews.
"my brother in christ" feels like the equivalent to the southern "bless your heart" lmao
Nick is such a bright, nice, charming guy. and he’s just an amazing drummer, probably the most talented drummer I’ve ever seen, his energy is killing
You mustn’t have seen many drummers
@@zachwillowbay1553 I don’t need to see everyone to admire one
He is a great young man if I say so myself😎♥️
@@dariadavis4 He's a great drummer, but ya defs need to see more drummers 😅
@mikefolio1437 lol are you his dad or something

I love this! Thank you for having Folio on because I feel like we never get to see or hear his perspective on anything. Seems like a humble guy.
A few minutes about eggs and fishing. Nick is a very observant, quiet and cute boy, it's notorious. He deserves every success. 🤟🏻🖤
I love the “mundane” conversations. Bravo Craig, you’ve done it again
It’s kinda funny that Bad Omens has two members named Nick and they also both have similar-sounding last names too
Nick is so adorable. I love when he does interviews
Nick's face and tone of voice are so expressive he could be an actor 😆
Also the nicest most interesting boring interview I've watched at 2am 😆🙏💜
Saw bad omens live and as a drummer the one thing I noticed is how hard nick plays. Great show and everything in a drummer I love.
I have a 45 min. commute to and from work & this podcast is the only thing stopping me from whipping it into oncoming traffic.
Thanks, Craig.
I am so happy to find drummer interviews! Would love to see have Vinny from MIW on here some day! Maybe you all could even do a drum stream on twitch together!
gawddd we need so much more folio content! his voice is so soothing
US watcher/fan of Bad Omens, saw you guys live in Atlanta in 2023, and man. Watching you beat the drums is something else. Everything you do is so intense and focused, like each hit is a sniper shot. Keep up the great work!
Folio is such a cutie, he has the best vibes
His voice is so calm and he seems so nice 😊
Hoping Nick gets to fish in the Buller River and accomplish all of his dreams! No one is more deserving!
I'm genuinely interested to know how my favourite artists like their eggs. This should be a reocurring segment 😂
Reoccurring ✨eggment✨

“Is it?” Is my fav catchphrase
Nick is one of the best drummers I've ever seen live! Perfect combination of craft and flair 🤌🎉
Finally 🎉 thank you for doing this one. Folio is such a nice lad… 😊
Just saw this legend at Knotfest in Australia last weekend, he absolutely killed it, what a sick dude!
I love Nick's laugh. Hihihihi! And yes, I ALMOST took a picture of him when he was taking down his equipment on stage, just because I thought it was so cool he did it himself. I didn't though. Dodged a bullet there.
LOVED this!!! The Folio content we’ve been waiting for. Would definitely watch him on twitch if he decided to go ahead with streaming. Great chat 👌🏻
I’m not into fishing and I love hearing Nick talk about it.
Not sure how I stumbled upon this video, but I throughly enjoyed it. Such a wholesome podcast. Thank you for chatting with Folio and letting us see a different side of things that isn’t usually shown. Cheers from Maryland 🍻
Most wholesome interview I’ve ever watched! Nick & you are such a delight to watch/listen to 🤘🫶
Love to see the other members of the band getting more involve in these interviews. Specially the drummer! great interview
I love that he’s in a Black motorcycle club that’s been around since the 70s. Fucking amazing. And happy for him finally being able to buy the bike that he’s always wanted. Definitely a sweet voice, I have to agree with some of the other comments.
This was a great interview!! Thank you!!❤
It’s so great to see how excited nick was to tell us about his set up! Great interview! Great to hear from other band members ❤
Choice of guests NEVER dissappoint gaaah so good 🔥
50:46 I’m at the part where y’all are geeking out over drum kits and this is honestly the best even though I don’t play.
Rocked up for a few minutes to just have a look, ended up sticking around to the end, it's amazing how attention consuming watching two people who are friends talk about mundane topics is just enjoyable.

I love this interview. Brought up my long forgotten love for bikes. And my new and burning love for Bad Omens.
Folio is such a treasure 🤍
Also this conversation is fucking great LOL. Just two dudes having a great time. Love it. 🤍

New favorite podcast found. Please have nick back again, most entertaining podcast I’ve ever listened to 😂
I agree with him, fishing trout's super fun! and his explanation about trout vs bass fishing is totally spot on
i saw bad omens way back when they opened up for asking alexandria with born of osiris and after the burial. they only had one album then. crazy to see how quickly they have blown up in a short amount of time
I love this episode so much! Drummers are my ♥️!!! I’ve watched this episode all the way through, at least 10 times now!
Yessss so glad you featured Nick in this one!
Nick is so sweet I had no idea
Yesss ~ I can already tell he is just by observing him..🥹♥️
Honestly, this style with you and the guest shooting the shit over drinks that seemed to start with Ali, is my fav. But I understand why you gotta polish it up, case in point Mario from Gojira. But hopefully we can get a mix of both in the future. 🤘
Watched the whole video and enjoyed every single minute of it, love from Jordan to Nick ❤❤❤

Nick folio is SICK. So good to see how into he gets into his passions !
i cant stand fishing or motorbikes, and I loved this episode, Nick seems like a great dude!

Mate, the intros are hilarious. I've listened to nearly all of them. The idiots that don't like them can do one :)
im very glad i got educated on fishing and biking tonight
amazing episode, thank you 🙏
Did he try a poached egg after this?? 😅
Also, if Nick twitch streamed, that would be wicked!
Might be the funniest podcast i've listened to in a while despite not knowing jack shit about fishing, drums or bikes, didn't feel two hrs pass at all 😂
Big shoutout Dierkes, yeah? Because he is the fit of tapping drum heads.
OMG I did not expect his voice to be like that at all. He's so precious 😭
I just discovered this podcast, and your personality for these podcasts is just great. Love Nick, of course! I can't wait to watch more!

Catching up on these old podcasts are great.
That was such a fucking great episode keep up the sick work man!!!
I first heard of Health, no lie, from their song with Bad Omens: The Drain. I like them a lot.
Folio is a legit dude. Keep it up Craig 🤙
Such a good funny dude
Noooo these intros are awesome!
Nick! Let’s go fishing!

@@MS-dz1di I don't mean music lol. Just listening to them talk about it on a podcast. Ofc the music needs all instruments 😂
re: snapping photo. All I her in my mind is Craig saying "don't just snap a photo of me- I might look like shit in it. Let me at least pose."
The most shocking thing to come out of this interview was the fact that Nick is NOT southern?! His accent gives yee-haw vibes, was not expecting Maryland.
Yee-Haw vibes?😂
Great drummer

This was great! Excellent chat. You're podcasts are my favorite.
That was a dope hang out for a few hours! You guys are awesome!
Nick is the Kirk Hammett of Bad Omens 😁😝
Nick is supercute , i love bad omens ❤
These are the best types of podcasts. 🖤
8 minutes in and I already had to pause to cheer for Poached Egg Supremacy
It has been a bit, but I think it is something like the first 3-5 min stream can't have swears for monetization.
Love hearing from Nick! Great podcast!
Hell yeah brother
Hey Craig! Thanks for having such an awesome podcast and you tube channel, I always enjoy it!! Just wanted to say Nick is wrong, he IS the favored member of Bad Omens as far as I'm concerned
DropEarth - This is how you close a door STREAM IT EVERYWHERE APRIL 30TH!!!!
He look so really nice 😊
He seems so humble !
I hope to be lucky to meet him a day 🙃
I'm going to see Bad Omens at Hellfest this summer 🔥
love this interview !!!!
i'm glad that Nick is fine, i hope Bad omens come to México soon 🇲🇽 ❤️
i'm not even sure if it's legal but i have an old school zil bell as well (cup style) that rings forever.. i just threw a moon gel in the inside of the cup at 12 and 6 and it still cuts hard but it dies out pretty quickly. might keep them on there going forward
