    Yes, first of all- color, then total time, then development time and all the other.
    Finding colour and temp. of the cracks is first thing to do. Intuition and science should go hand in hand. Primarily you should know what taste you like. Not to forget the greens you should buy.
    One cannot produce magic coffee from mediocre green beans.
