Class lad, if you changed gears mid corner like that in the wrong car you'd snap info oversteer, change gear before and after the bends, hold power through the corner then plant it as soon as the wheel is almost straight

My mate had one of these, he had an exhaust and induction and he was running 280bhp and was keeping up with Audi s3 8v. They are crazy cars💪🏼

I’m sure the engines are the same, the difference between the aero and non aero is the wing mirrors and slightly bigger spoiler
You done the exact same route as me . Civic , and now I have the CX7 which has the same engine. I have it mapped and it's amazing.

Torque steer makes it bit of a handful which can be fun. Stick it on the dyno to see if it's mapped
Power is the same with the aero and non aero all that changes is the smaller wing mirrors, larger spoiler and the lowering springs mate. 🤙🏽

Definitely a great twisty road
We fitted teinz adavance coilovers to my brothers, as soon as we fitted them we noticed how much sharper the car turned in and felt much more planted in the corners. Also helped alot with torque steer on those cheeky launches.

I was somewhat close to buying this in white. Basically the mpg and some parts of the interior I felt was a bit “cheap” opposite to what I think to the uploader.
The tax was surprisingly high £500 for prefacelift. The facelift something like £300. And it was around 10-11k for a under 50k mileage One. At that cost I thought go for something “newer”
But I’m so curious about these. The power in them is insane

I agree with you Jesse.. I had a new EP3 back in 2005.. had it for 9 yrs.. then went over to FN2 and didn't like it as much.. I now drive an Astra J vxr and I still find myself comparing it to the EP3.. the EP3 are fun cars to drive!! If I could find a good EP3.. I would buy another one!!

No they do bend rods if you add any more boost than stock.
If youre dumb then yes, they can push 400whp on stock internals if you aren't
The intake is JBR (James Barone Racing), not JS.
I’d like to see you get a vw caddy and get it maxed out. If you get a start line 2.0ltr you can do a lot with them

Stop changing gears on the corner do it before well. before
Matthew Dagnall changing gear unsettles the car so better to do it on a straight and then you can also keep both hands on the wheel in the corner 👍🏼

Not really my thing but each to their own, preferred the civic but I can understand mods would probably get expensive if you wanted more power out of it.
Sounds like the stone guard trim shit under the bonnet has been took off with the sounds of the stones pinging when you pick up speed.

I miss my Aero MPS so much, the torque available from 3rd to 6th was on another level, you could be doing 140 , tap your foot on the pedal and it would just pull and pull, crazy dangerous car :0

i totaly understand what u mean about the interior bro. i love comfort and all but you cant beat an old jap interior. E.G ep3 interior ,toyota starlet, s14, s13, mx5 , skyline, supra , rx7, nissan pulsar gtir. i could go on for days lol

Cliff (sonarcreep ) had a 400bhp beast and is getting a new one soon check his channel out 💪
If you want to really experience your car- turn it on, hold down DSC straight away for a few seconds and it will turn both DSC and traction control off bringing on 2 lights on the dash. If you have big balls and don’t want the power limit in the first 3 gears then undo your steering column plastic... unplug the white plug (steering wheel angle sensor) fully disables your TC and away you go! All on you from there... still disable DSC when you start the car though too 😉
It probably isn't mapped, they have the same amount of torque as a brand new golf R, stock!!!!

Looking forward to see what you do to this. One of my fave Hot Hatches. What are they like with torque steer? My Mk3.5 Focus ST was a nightmare until i put 20mm lowering springs on it and 20mm SD Forged spacers all around. Love the MPS's. Sound a look amazing. Ill join you with the MPG as well haha I get 24.5mpg driving it spiritually daily but hasn't skipped a beat!

It's 155mph top speed in them so there must be some sort of map on there if your getting 170 out of it and still pulling

Was n’t the civic a premier edition and do not civic premiere edition come with an lsd as stock
I believe it was only the integras which came with lsd not civics alough the imports may have.
The jdm Civic has a lsd.. the prems never come with them.. all dc5s come with them 2 as they are all imports... Honda ethuiast here 🖐️

Same chassis as focus st/rs. Everything has Ford printed in the engine compartment
I have a Gen 2 and the rear suspension uses some Ford parts but the Engine and transmission is totally Mazda except for the VVT actuator which again is made by Ford.
@@rogerbarrett9920 you sure, take the oil cap off its a Ford stamped oil cap, also alot of parts are stamped fomoco which is Ford motor company parts. Mind you I have gen 1
dazza - If you go deep into the history of the Ford Mazda tie up that ended in 2013 , they both pooled a lot of their technology but the Mazda L3 turbo engine was a true Mazda design . People think the latest Focus RS came from that engine as it’s also a 2.3 but it’s a different design as the Mazda has a closed deck block which is much stronger.

Should have a watch of Cliffs old 3 (Sonar Creep) i drove his a few times and that did try to kill you at 400bhp!! lol!! I owned a forged 6mps thats also on his channel which was running 450bhp! All i can say with the MPS get your wallet ready as nothings cheap!! good vid tho, enjoyed it, and the Aero and Non Aero both came stock at 256bhp as did the 6, quiet easy to get them to 300bhp on stock internals and turbo, just need to upgrade HPFP and a cpl of small supporting mods and a map, altho i hear Justin's no longer tuning them which is a shame... but yeah seriously watch Cliffs vid for some inspiration

I very nearly bought one mk3. I font know if I regret it. But I had a mk3 Leon fr so I didn’t want to spend more on exactly the same car but faster
