A RUclipsr called Redman's and ask them the difference in their Table salt and their Livestock salt .She said she was told the only difference was the grind and many people commented they had been using the livestock grind for pickling and preserving for years . Their Livestock grind can be had for as little as $1 a lb.

Well, my favorite is "Redmond Real Salt"... First of all, because the taste... It is invincible! Secondly, Baja Gold is way too moisturized, therefore it is almost impossible to use it by saltshaker...
Finally, despite all kinds of tests, I am NOT sure that Baja Gold salt really does not contain any microplastics or any other impurities. The seas nowadays are so polluted with such things that I find it impossible not to have them in that product. This type of contamination has already been detected in the South Pole ice fields... Of course it is there in that bay too! My concern about Himalayan salt is simply that it goes through too many hands before it reaches the consumer, and it's not even "made in the USA", who knows what they put in it EVEN IF THEY SAY THEY DON'T PUT ANYTHING IN IT... After all, hunger for profit is great!
So I think Redmond salt is the best choice. Although I would be happy if the magnesium content were higher. But at least it's the cheapest...

SEA-90 is not certified for human consumption by government for human consumption but nothing lives in salt. My family has been using it for over 10 years. For those who order from Azure Standard, It comes in a 25 lb. bag for $9.99. I keep it in a glass container to maintain the moisture. I keep the big bag in a plastic bag to retain moisture as volitile gases naturally in it can evaporate if the salt dries out. "Sea-90 Ocean Minerals Premium Mineral Salt". Thank you for the heads up on the additives to the Pink Himalayan salt.
I stopped using salt with anti-caking agents well over a decade ago. They are 'aluminium' based. (Definitely not healthy.)
Pink Himalayan is the purest natural salt I can get where I live.
I don't use a lot of salt but I make sure it's the nicest, healthiest I can get.
The only pure sodium chloride I can get is in rock form now. I use it unground with white vinegar for boiling crustaceans.

Any chance you have a video on brine in the works? I'd love info and your advice on making brine and the salt percentage by weight ( cups and spoons are for consuming food, not eating it! LOL!) Also if adding brine is possible during the fermenting process, if it goes dry/below the top of the veg. How much brine per weight of actual food weight, etc.
