I can’t front, I’m teary eyed watching this. Heavy was such a class act. True definition of hip hop. You don’t even see crowds get hype like this anymore. Heavy D and the boyz are a big reason why i fell in love with hip hop as a kid. R.I.P. heavy and Troy. Underrated legends... Heavy could rap and dance his ass off. And didn’t curse. He made it cool to be a big dude.
I was a teen when this song came out. My aunt was still living around the corner from his mom in Mt. Vernon. Miss my big brother so much!!!! Love you, RIP
Seeing this video and knowing that both he and Troy are gone brings tears to my eyes. But I take solace in knowing that they were physically in my life, they were the two best "brothers" a little sister could ask for. RIP D and TeeTee, love you to death and miss you until it hurts.
Thats what you call CLASSY CLASSY 💕 ❤ 💕!!!! Not looking like some of the nasty looking Yeast Infection THOTS. YEAR OF NEW GENERATION EVERYTHING MUST BE EXPOSED!!!! EWWWWW!!! 💪
This was my song back in the days, heavy D could move, this was when a party would be jumping, Al.b.sure was back up singer on this song, heavy D the Jamaican overweight lover.
This is the Arena where Trouble T died at: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/11/Market_Square_Arena,_Indianapolis,_1988.jpg He fell from the Exit Ramp right outside of the Entrance. This is the Spot he fell from: ballparks.smugmug.com/Market-Square-Arena-demolished-Indianapolis-Indiana/i-KSf9WFG/A What happened is the Arena used old 1970 Building Codes for Coliseums. Which meant, that Retaining Walls were built at Shallow foots and metrics. Troy and everyone were actually leaving the Area walking the Exit Ramp horsing around, and none them realized that they were actually exiting 30 Feet up in the Air, so when the Roadie rolled a Trash Can at him as a joke, Troy jumped on that low Skyline Wall to avoid it and unfortunately lost his balance. He fell exactly 3 Stories down and hit his head right on the Intersection. An Ambulance Truck was parked RIGHT in front of them blocking the lane, so EMTs saw him land.
A true Gentleman, he was such a talentend brother. He could, rap/sing and dance with swagg! Always love and respect for him, mr.HeavyD and the group ❤️🌼🌹🙏

Troy’s death was shocking, tragic and heartbreaking. It was so sudden. Like a Fastball. He tragically fell to his death while they were preforming on a High Rise Stage in Indianapolis in July 1990.

Let's be honest, there is know one that will ever come close to this man's greatness! I still rock with this legend!
That’s because he had a different type of energy from other’s and what made it so much better is he didn’t have to cuss in his music
Not taking a shot at Biggie, but for me, Heavy will always be the overweight King of Hip Hop! RIP Heavy.
I was two years old uptown 233rd street I feel like crying lol I remember the city rocking to this when I was 6 . RIP to the god .
