    To think that mach diamond is probably bigger than most of our houses

      It makes me amazed how the length of the exhaust is like twice plus the size of the actual vehicle that is crazy, cool.

      Yep sure is. A lot of people will see this video and won’t even understand the magnitude of this.

    That proves the aerodynamic forces of all 33 engines are completely in sync that they start behaving like a single large engine and have a common mach diamond....... that's so spectacular!!

    • @cube2fox
      @cube2fox Год назад +3

      If that's the case, couldn't they position them such that the exhaust is perfectly straight and no Mach diamonds appear? After all, seeing Mach diamonds means the efficiency is not optimal (since exhaust pressure is lower than ambient pressure).

      The thrust if formed not by pressure but by flowspeed.So its oposite of what you say.If it was for a preasure the rocket engine would not have a "throat" which sole purpouse is to turn pressure to speed.

    All these engines have their own Mach diamond, and all of these engines together make a large set of Mach diamonds as well.
    It's like a metaphor for what humanity should be.

    WOW!! 😮😮 It looks so ferocious so scary so powerful shaking the Earth literally shaking the freaking Earth from Miles the power inside this rocket given off by those raptor engines is absolutely astonishing and undescribable unless you are seeing it in person even then it is hard to put in words exactly what you are seeing hearing and feeling in your chest... WOW!! 😮

    You must have used a neutral density filter to darken the exhaust, something like a 16 stop solar eclipse filter. What stop reduction works best for the Starship engines?

      Not so much, methane burns with very little light and no black body radiation, unlike a kerosene engine that is painful to look at. This is a methane engine that I worked on back in 2006, running in daylight:

    Unfortunately it went boom

    • @stormysyndrome7043
      @stormysyndrome7043 Год назад

      Meh… they weren’t getting it back… might as well make it go boom. There was a delay prior to launch because they had protestor boats out there where the 1st stage was supposed to splash down. Wouldn’t be surprised if they just decided to blow it up after separation just so they could get it off the ground. Then they had a pressure issue, and just when everyone though it might be a bit of a longer delay… the thing was off the ground. The independent channels were confuzzled as to what was going on til they saw it lit up and headed off to yee haw land.

    • @rogermarcoux8029
      @rogermarcoux8029 11 месяцев назад

      Umm. One is a fictional movie the other is an actual rocket launch. Note the difference? Now oppy was based on a real events that created the age of atomic weapons. Lots of videos of those tests and I wager the energy released in a microsecond of a nuclear blast is a tad bigger than any rocket.

  • @SmokeTheHolyChalice
    @SmokeTheHolyChalice 11 месяцев назад

    Nope! They think we are idiots! Seriously, it’s insulting and complete propaganda! I question the authenticity of this video. I love how none of this is available at launch, only the SpaceX live feed through Twitter (X). Now, all of a sudden, we get these incredibly artful, beautiful, and clean videos of whatever it is Elon and his sychiohants wish for us to see and focus on. I call serious bullsh*t with regard to, in all likelihood, a completely faked and manifactured (after the fact) video. Also, wasn’t the launch in the morning yet we have what appears to be a night launch, or just a very dark, bend the laws of nature, background for effect with the powerful red foreground (aka. Smoke). Last, if you watch the launch there is black smoke coming from engines, completely missing in this video. Why, CAUSE IT’S FAKE PEOPLE!!!

    Most powerful rocket that can fly....many nations would stop there and call it a major success...but at spacex...that lauch was not successfull ... Talk about setting the goal
