TQ2 only in greece good as it should be
Yeah, I agree. It is possible that they already plan Titan Quest 3 which will take place in some other country. I guess that depends on how much revenue they make with TQ2.
@@Titan77Sage i just hope we get permanent dead bodies no human enemies and i would also like transmog / illusion system to look sexy and i also hope that nemesis is not the final boss when we defeat her we can see who is controlling her
@@TartarusPyro It's very possible that Nemesis is the final boss, but we will possibly fight her several times. The thing is, a Goddess is already the highest authority out there.
@@Titan77Sage i would not like that if nemesis is the final boss Goddess of resentment and remorse for bad deeds and unfair good fortune goes berserk? And thats it it would be cool if someone else mind controlled her a titan for example i mean we play titan quest. Also her mother is nyx and cronus is chained in her cave i mean you understand what i am trying to say
Agreed.
Please please please be a "Titan Quest" successor, as in "Titan quest, but just the newer and more high fidelity" and not
"We are chasing the ARPG hack and slash genre and need super-complicated skill-trees with grindable end-game content like Diablo, and huge monetizations".
Please don't fuck up by trying to be the next "Path of Exile" or "Diablo"....
Diablo killed itself trying to be the next diablo.
Yes, I agree, and the Devs said they will try to be a TQ1 "successor", which is awesome!
Cant wait for Titan Quest 2 , playing some d2r while I wait
Cool, I remember Diablo 2 with fond memories. One thing that annoyed me was the procedural generation; good thing TQ2 will not have that.
We need to know if there are difficulty levels (normal, epic, legendary)! Im sick of flat games! Also if the RNG is random generated! Can't wait though!
The Devs haven't talked about difficulty levels explicitly, but this is standard in most ARPGs, so I'm sure this will be included.
The Devs talked about raising the difficulty level by invoking rituals.
@@Titan77Sage Hi thanks for the reply! 😀
Im skeptical tq2 will release this year, but it'll be sick if im wrong. Course looking forward to some game play and getting a better feel for how the game is looking.
I think the most difficult thing for the developers was to get the masteries, items and game mechanics down.
This might be done to some degree, although this is pure speculation. The quests and acts basically create themselves :) the balancing of masteries, stats and items is the toughest thing, and that might be down already.
need it now
Gameplay trailer coming soon, so we can be satisfied for a bit :)
Being in Greece only is fine. Grimlore just needs to make sure that the game is filled with content. I'm perfectly fine if we get new areas such as Egypt and Orient in paid DLC if what we get for the base game is plentiful. All the advances in gaming since TQ1 should make this possible for Grimloreto pull off. I'm excited for this game as Diablo series is just overly monetized and is basically a whale game now. If we get the classic TQ1 experience just updated with none of the modern greedy monetization schemes, this game will have a healthy population.
Yes, your last sentence sums it up perfectly: the classic TQ1 experience only updated!
Mmm, I hope that at the base it is a TQ 1 with better graphics, and of course without being so complicated to understand, please not a Diablo 4.
Lastly, if they do well with this one, their respective DLCs of other mythologies, since Nemesis and the moirae are the base of the lore of this game, they could relate them with their counterparts from other lands in the DLCs.
I haven't played Diablo 4, but I gotta say Diablo 3 was awesome - of course you can't really compare Diablo and TQ.
I agree that they will want to milk the franchise and create some DLCs over time with other acts (countries) and possibly new masteries and items.
Ive recently played TQ again and realized something: next to the nostalgia, the gameplay kinda sucks. Its not a good game for game mechanics reasons. It was the story, the atmosphere, the scenery, the progression and so on. I really dont need a highly complex game mechanic, if i get to enjoy a piece of art. I hope tq2 captures this essence
The gameplay definitely was not the driving factor for me to sink thousands of hours into TQ1, for me it was the story, graphics, and most importantly the build crafting. Making perfect builds and trying to get the most out of certain skills was really fun. Hunting for specific items or relics/charms was still fun.
Decent gameplay was necessary to keep all the other aspects together. Having played TQ1 for so long, I really can't get much out of the gameplay anymore, too.
Those graphics must be a bad joke?
It's Titan Quest 1...
bad graphics
